Went to order some shots and was told by the bartender she was busy and that she would bring them out when she got to it. Still was ok with everything at this point even though there were only like 12 people in the entire place. Then the shots never showed up and it felt as if she was purposely ignoring all attempts at contact. Ended up leaving and found somewhere else that would serve us and had a great now so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

So disappointing according to the server it was because of new management. - The ONE star is for the music, because there is no other place in the area that plays Hispanic music like this place does. (Seating for up to 10 looks like) these all may be normal charges but I was a little off put by them. We ended up getting a table, and with 7 people a lot of us were standing around. The only "free" seating area was the bar. The $150 was cumulative over the whole time we were there, with all people combined and different tabs. It seemed pretty easy to get to, with most drinks $10-15. There were a decent amount of people dancing around 12 on Saturday night, and several places to dance with good Latin music. The service was good but not great, but I can't complain too much since it got really busy. It was fun and was a good night.

Anyplace that you got to that wants to pat you down before you enter, should tell you right then what you are about to walk into. I knew then, I should have just turned around. And don't let any online ads fool you, there IS a cover charge to get in and if you don't have cash, they will escort you to the bar to pay your 10 bucks cover via card. But I still couldn't shake off the fact that I had to get patted down to enter. And low and behold...this place was thug paradise. So the dress code for guys are NOT enforced. And what really got my attention was there where actually really nice sexy ladies there, BUT...they where all dancing alone. There is a loud chick with a backpack on stage yelling at everyone to party and like...nobody is paying any attention to her. Somebody please sit her down. This place looks too nice for all that. A hype person is not required in any good club. You will never see nothing like that at Drinks. All you hear is her screaming over the music. Be far warned, they play nothing but HIP HOP. Period. Don't get me wrong...I do like hip hop... but every successful dance club in Houston has played mixed music. Not just hip hop. So with that.. enter a ton of thugs who refuse to asked ladies to dance but rather just stand around the dance floor. So needless to say...when I left the club, I told the bouncer, this place must be a gay club cause I don't understand why all the men where afraid to ask women to dance. I will not return here because I prefer more variety in my night spots. Sad because the place is very very nice inside, but I'm not feeling the pat me down at the door mess. That tells me right there that something is bound to happen in the club or in the parking lot afterwards.

We waited 10 minutes for the bartender to stop flirting with the guy sitting next to us, then the bar tender decided to ID my wife right there for a non alcoholic beverage. My wife forgot her ID and we were asked to leave quite rudely. I spoke to the owner and he said this was their policy and blew me off. Basically my issue is the fact that this business obviously has a policy that they do not know how to enforce. If everyone in the bar needs to show their ID then they need a door man. Realistically if I had gotten the drink for her or she decided not to drink that night then we wouldn't have been asked to leave.

The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Mostly everyone was playing darts inside and nothing else was going on outside probably because it's just too damn hot for that. The biggest complaint is the parking lot, it's got some big craters or pot holes, call it what you want but just drive really slow. I don't think they have a kitchen serving food but I could be wrong. I will be back in the fall

The music mix was seriously SO HOUSTON that it made the night extra fun!
