Thirst is a really fun soda shop that has locations on 1300 S in Salt Lake City, in Vivint Smart Home arena, at the U of U, and in Millcreek! Customer Service: 7/10 The drive-thru line is probably going to be long at any time of the day but you can order ahead on the app if you would like! They are pretty quick at getting your drinks/snacks ready once you have placed your order. Environment: 7/10 Their drive-thru set up is pretty great, and there is plenty of space for the long line. We didn't have the chance to go inside but it looked really clean and the pictures we have seen of the interior are cute! Menu: 8/10 Their drink menu is pretty normal for a soda shop. They have plenty of signature drinks but you can also make your own! The unique part about Thirst is they have LOTS of snacks. Their snacks change every so often and they are doing weekend features with a new snack each week! They've been doing weekend feature collabs with other local businesses to feature different snacks. Price: 8/10 The drink prices are pretty average for a soda shop! Their snacks are priced really well! A cup of pretzels is $4.00, and they fit quite a bit in there! Their other treats range in price from $2 - $3 and they are all pretty large! Taste: 7/10 Our favorite drinks that we have tried at Thirst are the April O'Neal and the McDreamy. If you like Mtn. Dew, we recommend getting the April O'Neal! We didn't love any of the cookies that we tried but their pretzels are SO yummy, better than most mall pretzels! OVERALL: 7.4/10 read more

Believe it or not, I went to Thirst with a friend on our way to the Utes game and DID NOT order drinks. We wanted to try the sweet cream beignets we had heard about. OMG, they were so good. The beignets alone were very authentic, and perfect crunchy texture on the outside. The sweet cream stuffed between them was only semi-sweet, so I didn't feel overwhelmed with sugar. Alright, so here in Utah we are REALLY into our flavored sodas, I'm assuming it's because such a high number of residents don't drink alcohol. Flavored soda shops don't really exist in other places, like California. That being said, I'm not mad at it! I too am a sucker for an overly huge fancy flavored diet coke. I know some people are diehard loyal to one franchise over another, but to me, they're all kinds of the same. UNTIL NOW! I'm sorry, Beignets are a game changer! Hot and freshly made just for me?! Yeah, I'll buy a whole box! If you don't know what Beignets are, go to Thirst and get some right now. They are a fluffy, airy, pocket of dough, deep fried until the outside gets GBD (golden brown delicious) and slightly crisp then topped with copious amounts of powdered sugar. You can get raspberry, chocolate, and/or caramel dipping sauce with it (I got one of each), but I didn't end up using them because they are truly perfect on their own. I did notice pretzel bites on their menu that I will be trying next time. As much as I love a sweet treat, if I'm getting an overly huge fancy flavored diet coke that's usually my sweet treat and 9 times out of 10 I'll be wishing I had a salty snack to go with it. So next time those pretzel bites are mine! Anyway, I highly recommend mixing things up and not being blindly devoted to one drink franchise over another. Great drinks, but man, the service is bad. The first time I stopped at this one I went inside and was completely ignored for several minutes while the counter guy chatted with his friends. Everytime we swing by this location, they always have super upbeat attitudes! I especially like Tag, who usually either takes my order or hands out my order. Tonight Tag provided us with an energetic and fun experience and even offered us free popcorn! Had to come try Thirst while I was in town. Very VERY long line, which must mean it's good. Drive thru goes fairly quick. The pretzel bites are delicious, perfect complement to a sweet drink. Drink was great, good mix of soda and syrup. I only wish there was a menu further back, you can't see what to order until you get to the very front- we had to look it up on our phones. I have been to Thirst a handful of times and their line always takes forever, but I love their pretzel bites and special treats. Today I went to pick up an order for their weekend feature treat and I counted 9 Thirst employees not wearing a mask, one of which was the owner. They were also gathered in a small area, not social distancing. I would have reached out to the owner on social media, but seeing him with his mask pulled below his mouth and nose shows me that Thirst does not care to keep them or their customers safe. read more

Stopped by on a grilled cheese day to give it a try. Drinks are just glorified fountain drinks for triple the price (you could go to McDonalds and use the coke machine for the same effects), pretzels are over cooked and tough (they taste more like cheap bread than pretzels), the grilled cheese was just mediocre (though what could I expect?), and the tables, windows, and interior were dirty. read more

I always order the Fresh Prince and add Sprite, when I get my drink it says Sprite on the tag but it's not included. The last 5 times I've received the drink, whoever made it clearly hasn't read the tag. Good drinks when you order exactly what they have but they obviously don't read the orders. read more

When I tried to place my order, the worker at the cashier just laughed at me. My thirst for soda is nothing compared to my new found thirst for vengeance on this terrible establishment.
