Love this brewery! Such a cute atmosphere to do work, go out with friends or get a coffee in the am. On the weekends the have live music. Outside they have food trucks and games to play. We went there after going to their main location and this one was much larger. I also enjoyed their selection more. We ordered a flight to share but the price was super high, which was annoying. The staff was friendly and attentive. When one staff member noticed me moving a chair from one table to another, she brought over a third so we could all sit. I ended up leaving with a six pack of the pumpkin (delicious even though I am not a pumpkin fan!) and a four pack of the Stamvegas Sour. The big disappointment was that they didn't have a cool piece of merch we had seen at the other location, and since it isn't available for delivery, they lost a sale there! read more

This is our favorite brewery in Stamford! Inside is large and there are always people there, no matter what time we go. The outside in the nice weather is a lot of fun. They have live music and food trucks. They have a small food menu from the Blind Rhino, wings, fries, spring rolls, burgers, schnitzel, hot dogs and more, so don't go there looking for any healthy food options to offset the alcohol calories Although I think they do have a caesar and house salad option. by the time were ready to eat we go for the soft pretzel, bagel bites, sandwiches. I believe food is served every day that its open. It's also kid and pet friendly if you wanted to bring your littles. Our best friends bring their, now 3 year old there, and he runs around with the other kids. They have milk for them as well. I haven't actually been there for early morning coffees and breakfast but I know that is an option and they have little spaces that close, referred to as phone booths, so people can work inside and take private calls or whatever they want to use them for. It's basically a co-working space. What else? I love the sour beers. The annual pumpkin beer is also delish! My fiancé mostly drinks the Beacon NEIPA. You can go in if you wanted to buy pre-packaged 6 packs. They have a full bar as well if you're not a big beer person. I haven't been but they have trivia on Tuesdays. they can also host events for you! Everyone that works there are always friendly and ready to help. I recommend this brewery to everyone! read more

This is a great place to sit and drink a variety of beers including their seasonal pumpkin brew. The lightbulb lighting was a nice touch for me and the place has an overall relaxing vibe. However, when I visit a brewery I usually get a flight of beers to taste, but here I was told by the bartender I cannot get a flight after 6pm. It was 6:30pm but I had never heard that rule at any other brewery. Also, I saw multiple people with freshly poured flights as I was leaving. I live in the apartment complex next to third place. The reason why place is called third place is because you got your home, your work, and your third place. Third place is literally my third place. I've been here so many times and I return everytime not just because it's close, but because the staff is great, the vibe is chill, the beer is good, the food truck from blind rhino is good, the events are amazing, live music is great, $5 wings every Wednesday and beer deals as well, the coffee and breakfast (when available) is good and again, the staff there is amazing as well. Brendan the manager is super nice and is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to beer and cocktails. Will is by far one of the cooler bartenders I've ever met. Timmy is great as well and always has the coolest shirts! Gabby is wonderful and so nice too she's usually there in the morning for coffee. Matt is super nice. Cassie is very cool as well. I could go on and on but everyone at third place are absolute legends and you don't have to be a regular to get great treatment, you go in there and the incredible staff will take care of you whether it's beer or coffee or food or cocktails (which they recently added). They have insane sour beers. I don't even like sours and they have great ones. The holiday ale is one of my favorite beers ever. I stock up every winter but all of their seasonal beer is insane. As for the food, they have a menu that changes frequently and you order on the QR code or go up to the truck to place your order. Whether you drink or you don't, third place will have something you enjoy from cocktails to beer to soda/water/coffee. Now for the actual vibe, it feels a home, mixed with your favorite college bar memory mixed with a rustic factory like vibe, mixed with brick walls with some dope art on the walls as well lol. Third place is open as early as 7am for coffee and for people to work. They have couches, comfy chairs and plenty of high top tables depending on the vibe you want. The best part of third place, if you've been and worked here you'll agree, is the phone booths. They literally have phone booths for you to go in to take calls if your working remotely with a small desk for your laptop, book, script, iPad. They just ask that you don't hog the booth like a jerk but tons of people take calls at the tables and talk quietly but if your loud like me and want extra privacy and soundproofing, they have friggen phone booths lol!!!! This place is newer and provides a much larger selection of Half Fulls beers than the regular brewery. They do offer flights which is great. There isn't amazing signage so we drove past it the first time and had to turn around. Limited parking in their parking lot but there is street parking. Staff was nice and helpful in fact one of them lifted and brought over a chair for my friend. The beer was okay over all. Nothing I was super crazy about. Third Place is awesome. We came by one night just to look, and Stephanie from the staff walked over (masked, of course) and was super friendly and gave us a great run-down of the place. We came back last night and had such a great time. Their beers are amazing, and you can get flights too. They also have "draft cocktails" that utilize their beers and local spirits, and wow are those amazing! (I recommend "The Lighthouse.") They also rotate food trucks in and out, which is a really nice option to have. The tables, both inside and out, are very socially distanced and the staff all wear masks and take proper protocols. The staff is also super friendly - everyone was so nice, it was wonderful. Third Place has found a way to make a parking lot feel like a cool patio with Edison bulbs and flowers all around. This is a great large and multifunctional space in the expanding neighborhood. I used to go here for drinks or to pick up cans rather than the brewery. The recently added on space is great and serves as a good co-working space during the day, and also as more of a bar setting at night. Unlike the original smaller room, the expanded space has many taps, TVs, endless seating options and hosts events. So I have ventured to Third Place more often and look forward to getting there for live music. What I will not be doing as much of though is going for coffee and working there during the day time. There is a manager or some other form of bar / marketing guy who sits there all day shouting orders and dictating the bar staff all day long. Not only is his voice way too loud, but the personal business related things he's screaming out are not that appropriate for the general customer base to hear. No one needs to listen to the inferiority complex of a bar manager telling his staff when they're required to work or what to do, not about all the cups he is ordering and money that has been spent, since clearly no one asks - employees or customers. This guy should do whatever it is that he does for Half Full in an office or somewhere else not in the open space of what should otherwise be a comfortable setting for customers during the day. read more

I've been coming here a few days a week for the past year and the new management turned this place into the BEST coffee shop, study / work spot and local bar in Stamford. The ambiance is so comfortable and cozy, and it's really a great place to sit and enjoy a beer or coffee. First of all the staff is so respectful, insightful and professional. I've found it really hard to find nice/hard working employees at any of these harbor point coffee shops... but the staff at Third Place just knocks it out of the park. The kindness from the staff helps to start my day out right when I grab a cup of coffee in the morning, and it's just really refreshing. The quality, temperature and taste of the coffee is always perfect. The pastries are fresh and delicious (I highly recommend trying a blueberry donut or ordering a bagel when their kitchen is open). I visited Third place by Half Full Brewery on Sunday. There is street parking in the front and a parking lot behind the building. They offer outdoor and indoor seating, both are set up very nicely. Service was good, they offers variety of beers and even hard seltzers. Unfortunately they ran out of Oktoberfest but I had a nice IPA. I would definitely revisit this brewery again. read more

Highly recommended spot to gather with friends or plan a date night! I recently went to half full this weekend to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with a group of 10 and had a great time! Our waitress and the staff made sure we were well taken care of, we always had our drinks on hand, quick service, polite staff, and they really went above and beyond to make sure our group was having a good time. I had reached out in advance to reserve a table and everything was ready by the time we arrived. Wide variety of beers, cocktails, and fun brews. There were some really different and fun drinks here to be had! There is both outdoor and indoor seating. Indoor you can have a max of four people per table and outdoor is five to six per table. We did outdoor and experienced great service, drinks, and a fun food truck. Couldn't recommended this place more. They opened over the Summer. During this crazy covid world I can share that we felt safe, staff wore masks, tables were distanced and the teams took proper precautions. They are expanding too which is exciting! If you live in Harbor Point area there's no better place to catch up with friends, have a beer, coffee (their cold brew is fantastic) or a meal from the food truck.
