This is a chill spot to grab a beer and hangout but a little underwhelming on the inside. The beer on the other hand was very good. Their thrive Ipa was a smooth and citrusy and had to grab a four pack to go. It seemed like more of a storage space for their beer than an actual taproom

Was the glass is half full or half empty? My boyfriend and I stopped here after a portrait session in White Plains, NY and I'm doing the CT beer trail so I figured I'd stop in. I must have looked like I just came from prom or something because the employee behind the bar asked for my ID and put it up the the light, analyzed it for a good 5 minutes, and curtly asked "So what's your birthday?" I'm 24, but I will forever look 15 and I know that I will forever be ID'ed, but he really didn't have to be rude about it. To add insult to injury they didn't check my boyfriend's ID and just gave him his sour beer. I ordered a flight. I like punny names like Liquid Hoptimism and Bee Enlightened. The beer itself is decent, but not mindblowing. There's outdoor seating after you walk through the factory. I'm glad that they put a faux ivy fence next to the wall with the fence because otherwise it would feel like a jail (there's barbed wire over the fence and the ground was cover in broken glass in the lot next to it). Location-wise the area is a little sketchy and the parking lot is so narrow and a bit of a nightmare. The crowd was a little snobby, but I can see how this would be a good place for a casual business get together. The saving grace and what makes this a 3-star experience instead of 2 is that the food truck was really delicious and that the customer service from them was awesome!

Disappointed. Not a lot of reviews, but the few reviews I did read made me think this would be a worthwhile stop. Location is kinda sketchy. I drove around thinking I had missed the sign and it's in a dead end alley. It must have been an old warehouse at some point. First impression - trendy. The quality of the beer just isn't there, especially not for the price. The bartenders were not knowledgeable about the different kinds and at one point asked a patron what they thought. Really? Your employees should be able to explain the flavor profile of each beer without having to ask a customer. This was a one and done stop. I guess anyone can start brewing their own beer, slap a colorful logo on the wall, remodel a warehouse and call themselves a brewery.

Absolutely loved this place! The brew is delicious. Love that they let you try their selections before getting a pint. Large bar and awesome set up in an old industrial building. Very casual atmosphere. Lastly the crew behind behind the bar was outstanding. Super knowledgeable on their selections and very attentive. Only draw back to this place is that I live too far away to be a regular lol. Awesome bonus, they have a select menu of items from Blind Rhino for small dishes to grub on. Great place, can't wait to come back!

Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at Half Full. Modern vibe but also very warm and welcoming. Great pumpkin beer and Oktoberfest. Very chill and humble. Beware in parking lot! One way in/out and super pot holed. Other than that- don't miss checking out this brewery!

Super cute brewery! You would never know it exists since it's hidden in a neighborhood. Parking is in a dirt lot. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor area is in the back; they have picnic tables and cornhole so you can hang out. The indoor area has tables and some couches. The bathroom was super clean and very large. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I enjoyed the ambiance of the brewery and my friends enjoyed their flights.

My flight is on the right which consists of: Mango, Pink Guava, Within Reach and Bright.

I was on my way to Norwalk, CT for the weekend and decided to check out Half Full Brewery on the way. It was a little difficult to find since it is off the street and the parking lot was just a dirt lot. I wish there was better signage! I'm not a beer drinker (I prefer white wine and white rum cocktails) but I decided on the flight which has four 5oz pours for about $12. I got the Mango Supernova, Pink Guava Supernova, Bright, and Within Reach. I really enjoyed the Mango and Pink Guava! Within Reach was just alright for me and Bright was just not for me. I ended up buying a four pack of the Pink Guava. When I looked on Yelp I saw that some people said there was a food truck outside but unfortunately on the Sunday I went there was not. I was told there was an event the day before that the food trucks were at so I'm assuming that may be why they weren't there on Sunday. I wanted to have a bite to eat while drinking so settled for the chips they had for sale. Half Full is one of the smaller breweries that I've been too but was still just as nice! There were couches to sit on, benches, and high top tables. There was also a projector screening the football game onto the wall. The staff was nice and helpful.

First beer at half full! This is the Audrey!

My team and I came here for an event and we all had a great time. I really enjoyed all of the beers but my favorite has to be the pumpkin beer. Personally I'm not a fan of sour beers but the teammates that tried them said they were great! I really enjoyed all of the beers I tried. Keep in mind that food is not served at Half Full, but you are able to bring your own food. They are also dog friendly, which is awesome! Cool tour, too! Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Really amazing brewery. Had such a great time at a team event here. The beers are all really great but enjoyed the peach beer the best. Can't go wrong!

Nice small brewery, small place. couple different types of beer. Very nice service. Nice atmosphere And most importantly good beer. What else would you expect from small neighborhood brewery?!!

I'd travel around the world in a boat with white sails, To get a case of Half Full's Bright Ale. A very fresh and unique brew lineup, If I could just live here you bet that I'd sign up. This is my second favorite of all Connecticut breweries. I bought the Bright Ale this past summer at a local liquor store, and was totally hooked after one sip. Something about the strain of yeast used makes it unlike anything I have ever tasted. Decided to visit Half Full for my birthday this year with some friends on a Friday evening. Turns out they were doing an "Open Tap" for $15, which included unlimited beer for 3-4 hours and a pint glass. Happy Birthday to me! I got to try every beer on draft, and I did not have one bad product. I even got to meet the owner/brewmaster, who got voted one of Connecticut's "Top 40 under 40 (years old)" by CT Magazine this year. Another cool thing about Half Full is that they have branded themselves as an optimistic, ever-positive company that loves life. You can't help but to smile when drinking their beer, whether it be at the brewery or in the comfort of your own home.

This place is great- it's in a sort of sketchy neighborhood, but once you go in you're greeted by extremely friendly staff and delicious beer. Hours are limited for now, as they have recently opened. They are open some Saturdays to conduct tours, tastings, and fill growlers. The growler was $5 and a fill was $10. The Bright Ale is a delicious, simple blonde ale. The stout was very nice as well. They are slowly rolling out more beers, taking time to perfect them. The people are great- I believe Connor is the founder, his wife was working there too and was really friendly. Lots of their friends and family were there to lend support, and the patrons and staff were all chatting. It was a lot of fun! The resident beer hound named Lucky was also wandering around. I'll definitely go back for a growler fill and to try more beers. They talked about opening during the week for happy hour as well.

Once we were seated the waiter arrived asking about drinks which we declined in favor of bottled water, i ordered coffee as well and was offered 1 whole cup. After that our server just seemed to disappear. My daughter had hangar steak & eggs. I had the pork carnitas and eggs. Both our order's eggs were ordered sunny side up. Typically it's the yolks that are runny but both of our orders had runny whites as well. All this time we waited on the other appetizer to arrive. For a place that was not very busy the service was galactically awful. The food was passable but not great. The banana bread appetizer arrived as the busboy came to take our entree dishes. And that was after 2 reminders to our waiter (both appetizers were taken to go). Whoever is running this place (nobody game by asking how our meal was) should be embarrassed. When i spoke with our waiter about the abysmal service he passed it off on the busboy! There is no sense of teamwork nor pride in doing a good job. Sad.

All three were fantastic. The breakfast pizza had us craving more, and the oysters were fresh, delicious, and delicately shucked. I tried the chilaquiles and the short rib hash. I've never been a huge fan of hollandaise sauce, but they put it on the side for me, and honestly, it blended extremely well with the flavors of the hash. The "5 O'Clock Somewhere" cocktail is refreshing and gave me a very light buzz that paired well with the delicious options we ordered. The staff is friendly and very attentive, and the spot itself is very clean, spacious, and stunning. I would definitely visit this spot again.

Nikki, Charlotte, and their team flawlessly planned and executed our 100+ person wedding in Connecticut and transformed our backyard and home into a beautiful, professional venue. During the planning process, our coordinators maintained transparent communication with us and were extremely responsive to our ongoing questions, concerns, and changes. They helped organize with our other vendors (DJ, photographer, etc.), and provided meaningful advice and guidelines every step of the way - from selecting our menu to choosing venue décor and even providing advice as to how to word our invitations. On the day of our wedding, those same coordinators ensured that the event proceeded smoothly, monitoring the timeline, flow, and jumping in where needed. For example: when we arrived home from the ceremony, we were immediately met by Nikki's staff who had specifically prepared appetizers and drinks for the wedding party to enjoy (and to replenish!) before making our big introduction to the rest of the wedding guests. LOCATION: The Hyatt Regency Greenwich is conveniently just off I-95. It is located at the site of the former printing plant for Condé Nast Magazines (1921-1967). CONCEPT: Hyatt Regency Greenwich is a tremendous complex, providing event spaces, meeting rooms, many amenities, a bar/lounge, and 374 hotel rooms. (I've attached one floor's plan to give perspective.) Uncommon amenities include a movie theater showing one of the latest releases and a salt water pool. SERVICE: Service was mixed. My initial encounter was not welcoming, especially given this is a four star rated facility. I arrived in the early afternoon at the entrance. The valet explained that whether I self park or not, there is a fee (average around $30) and I must give valet my keys. The more unwelcoming and surprising thing was I asked if there was a luggage cart, as I recently had surgery. He pointed to where luggage carts are stored and told me to return the cart when finished. Despite seeing me slowly placing bags on the cart, and trouble pushing the cart, no help was offered by him, nor was solicited from a colleague inside the Hyatt Regency. The way he acted led me to assume conventional valet and bellman services were not available at this facility. The next day, at check out around 11 AM, was thankfully a different experience and I was grateful that the assigned valet took the luggage cart and placed the bags in my car without asking. Although I hope to not require assistance next time I visit, I understand from the hotel manager that valets are expected to transfer luggage between car and cart, and that bellman service is available. ROOM EXPERIENCE: GOOD The room was recently renovated and was cleverly and attractively designed, including prints related to Condé Nast magazines as reference to the site's history. Bed and pillows among most comfortable I've experienced anywhere. BAD I was able to hear children screaming from a distant guest room and someone urinating into a toilet above me, so there is a lack of sound proofing at the facility that is usually associated with a lower rated hotel/motel. Your neighboring guest can have an impact on your overall experience. AMENITIES I appreciated the recent addition of a movie theater showing a current release (during my visit The Devil Wears Prada 2 was being viewed.) I could see this destination as an attractive alternative to crowded multiplex theaters. Plus the Townsend Restaurant and Bar is steps away for during- or after-theater sips and nibbles. TIP: Since the building was constructed in the 1980s during a trend of rooms facing atrium, some room windows face the atrium, inviting a voyeur experience (watching activity in bar/restaurant below and likewise restaurant/bar guests watching activity in guest rooms). I've always found this a bit creepy, so if you want an outward facing room be sure to request it.
