This group is unique where they're great communicators, effective problem solvers, task oriented, and genuinely nice people. I had them add clean out valves to a tankless and they were flawless throughout the process. Jake made sure all the right parts were used and lined up a great technician who did a great job on the install. They troubleshoot and are effective. The technician, Jimmy, stuck around and mentioned when he turned on the water he heard what he recognized as high water pressure in the pipes and to check the water pressure regulator on the unit. The condo shared this and we found out this is in fact an issue the HOA was having with the entire building. They have someone replacing it now but the fact that after the job was done Jimmy mentioned what he felt wasn't right, was awesome. You'd be surprised how many plumbers get in, do the thing, and bounce. Or try and upsell you on stuff, they seemed to be in it to make sure it's right. I truly appreciate that. Strangely enough, shortly after, I had another plumbing emergency and Jake was on it. They're scheduled to fix the issue first thing tomorrow and Jake gave me a great price. Can't ask for better. At the end all I know is they told me they did some things they didn't charge for, tenant was happy (even giving me a hug bye and wished me a safe drive) and I left the premises by midnight with just enough energy to stop for some LA street tacos after. Whole job done in less than 3 hours ! Given I called at 9pm and they were done by 12am with some time in between waiting for tenants to allow entry, no doubt will be calling them in the future !! I had both my bathrooms changed from the old 3 knob shower to a more modern single knob shower thingy, plus updating the waste disposal piping/internals. Although the base quotes and labor was cheap, I did ask for some custom stuff which cost extra, and I think they put quite a big markup on them. For example, I wanted brushed nickel finish on my shower fixtures and drains and it cost $360. I looked at Home Depot and it was much less than that for that kind of stuff. Other than that, the technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. The thing that stands out the most about them was their dedication and their customer service. I was having my shower valves and waste disposal replaced but also wanted to reglaze my tub. Long story short, something happened with that reglazing company that might've flooded my downstairs neighbor and Greg hopped on a call with me late at night and talked me through how to check if everything was ok. This took 40 minutes, and thankfully nothing leaked out of my waste disposal. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the services provided and will be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

Updating my original review years later because we ended up needing Mick again today for another…read moreplumbing issue at one of our family properties. We had a sewer backup issue affecting the back unit/ADU while also dealing with separate toilet issues in the front house. Mick responded quickly, diagnosed both problems efficiently, and got everything resolved the same day. The front house issue turned out to be worn toilet flappers from normal wear and tear. The back unit issue was a main line grease buildup/clog that required drain clearing and camera inspection work. Mick also took the time to explain the likely long-term slope/drainage concern with the ADU connection in a very straightforward and practical way. One thing I still appreciate after all these years is that Mick communicates like an operator, not a salesman. When I recently experienced a drain clog in the shower, I called another local plumber because they advertised a drain snaking special. Not only was that bait and switch (only if they can clean the drain from the cleanout only, which is unlikely with a shower), that plumber came out, told me they could've done the job cheaper, and then failed to be able to fix the clog. I called yesterday, and Brandon from Flood Brothers came today, put five minutes of hard work and elbow grease in and figured it out and fixed the problem. It was just a giant hair clog!
