We've now hired him and his team for three projects: replacing exterior…read moredoors and repairing drywall, replacing our HVAC system and ducts, and removing two ficus trees and installing a concrete pad for a shed. His team is professional, the work has been excellent, and Danny makes the whole process easier on us as homeowners. The doors and drywall came out beautifully, during that project recommended a shade mesh above our hot tub, and installed it free of charge (great recommendation). With the new HVAC and ductwork, our house now heats much more evenly than it did before. He also replaced the large, unattractive platform under our old rooftop unit with a much smaller, nicer-looking one and did a flawless job repairing the roof around it. He's not once asked us for a change order. What really makes us recommend Danny, though, is how he handles problems. Our new HVAC wasn't working on a very hot day in August. Before we even asked, and before he knew what was causing the problem, he offered to pay for a hotel room that night and brought over an AC unit to try to cool our bedroom. When he discovered the next day that the problem was a wiring issue on his team's end, he told us directly and got it taken care of. We really appreciated both the honesty and the fact that his first instinct was to help us, at his own expense, before he even knew whether the issue was his responsibility. On another occasion, when we mentioned some very minor property damage caused by his crew and specifically said we weren't asking to be compensated, he reimbursed us anyway. We really appreciate not having to argue or chase someone down to make things right. He's also a genuinely thoughtful person. He offered to put up a mezuzah for us at no charge. Our daughter was born early the day before the tree-removal project, and Danny handled the work while we were in the hospital. The finished project came out perfectly, and he even got us a balloon and chocolate to celebrate her arrival. Those personal touches aren't something we expect from a contractor, but we certainly appreciate them. Danny isn't the cheapest, but we feel the quality of the work and the attention he gives his customers are worth paying for. He knows what he's talking about, gives us straight answers, and follows through. Beyond all of that, we just enjoy working with him. We're now preparing for our next project with Danny: finally converting our garage into an ADU. Having worked with him on three projects already, we feel really good about trusting him with this one. We would absolutely recommend him.

We had an excellent experience with Danny and My Cali Builders installing artificial turf at our…read morerental property in Thousand Oaks. What made this project especially important to us was that we managed the entire job remotely from our home in Northern California. Danny made that process remarkably easy. He communicated consistently, answered every question thoroughly, sent frequent photos and videos, and kept us informed throughout the preparation and installation. We never felt out of the loop. The quality of the work was outstanding. Their team removed the existing decomposed granite, properly prepared and graded the area, installed and compacted a base, added the weed barrier, carefully laid and trimmed the turf around curved borders and existing stepping stones, secured the edges and seams, applied the upgraded zeolite infill, and power-broomed the finished surface. They clearly cared about the details--not just whether it looks good on installation day. Danny also stood out during the bidding process. We received several quotes, and he was transparent about the exact turf product, specifications, backing, base preparation, and infill options. He did not simply recommend the most expensive upgrade. Instead, he explained what he believed was the best balance of durability, appearance, and long-term value for a family rental property. That honesty gave us a great deal of confidence. The finished yard looks great. The turf has a lush, natural appearance, the curved edges and transitions were handled beautifully, and the existing pavers, mature landscaping, and black lava-rock planter areas were preserved and integrated very well. Most importantly, our tenants are thrilled with the result, and so are we. Danny and his crew were professional, responsive, easy to work with, and clearly took pride in doing a quality job. Managing a major landscaping project from several hundred miles away could have been stressful, but they made it straightforward and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend My Cali Builders to anyone considering artificial turf or outdoor improvements. They earned every one of these five stars.

I have *never* worked with a contractor like them-- they have accurate timelines, stick to them (and if they foresee a delay, they tell you exactly how much more time they need, and then they follow through), accurate budgets, and they are extremely fast. It is almost unheard of. Seriously they can get the job done and in record time. It's like watching a timelapse video. Pablo and Freddy are professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with. They do it right and do not rush, which is incredible because they move so fast. It is a talented group of individuals who work in their team. My only regret is that we dont have a bigger yard to hire them to do more. We have been telling all our neighbors how incredible this team is. It was a lucky break to be able to work with them. So after moving in, we hired Environmental Landscaping to bring our front yard and backyard up to par with the rest of our new home. Miguel and his team did an amazing job, were a pleasure to work with. When choosing our contractor to renovate our yard, we researched dozens of companies, and narrowed our choices down to three to meet and interview on-site. Miguel impressed us the most with his professionalism, preparedness, and deep knowledge. He had very informative answers to all our questions, and even pushed back on some of our initial ideas--citing ways to save on costs, materials that could work better, or design choices that may be a better fit. That pushback is something we especially appreciated, and was often missing from our other two initial "sales pitch" meetings with the other contractors, who seemed to agree with whatever they thought would make us happy and sign a contract. Once we chose Miguel and his team ,work began very quickly. As new homeowners, this was our first time doing a major renovation project, and we weren't quite sure what to expect. After all, we've all heard horror stories about contractors delaying builds, stopping work halfway for weeks at a time, demanding huge additional costs/charges, etc... I assumed the project would take 2-3months, with another few weeks of added delay time (especially considering the pandemic, labor shortages, building material shortages, etc...). It turns out all our concerns were completely unwarranted... they estimated the job would be done in 6 weeks, and they were absolutely correct! Throughout the build, the entire team was incredibly responsive, with emails and text messages often answered within minutes. Any changes to the proposed timeline or schedule were fully communicated in advance, and we felt completely in the loop the entire time. If we ever had any questions or concerns, we never felt like we were being brushed off or met with radio silence. Good communication is key, and the Environmental team absolutely delivers here. As with any large renovation project, there are going to be some problems. As happy as we are with the work Environmental did, we do have a complaint about one aspect of our yard. A few weeks after our project finished, our DG (decomposed granite) pathways started showing rather large cracks. Fortunately, even though our project ended weeks prior, Miguel sent someone out to take a look the very next day. Ultimately they had a team of 3 guys come and re-work parts of the pathway within a few days. As far as the front yard goes , it looks great . We got our old cracked driveway removed and installed new diamond cut driveway. Also got our retaining walls redone with smooth stucco . The fact that we plan to hire them again for our next project for our investment property should tell you exactly how confident we are with their level of service.

First was the demo, with three members. This was an amazing trio that worked seamlessly together to break the old concrete and haul it away with Bobcat and a huge dump truck. The second crew set the block wall, which came out MUCH better than what I expected. The last crew leveled the entire driveway with sand and then laid the pavers one-by-one with an incredible pace and accuracy. They had to make cuts and adjustments to the pavers and it was a cool experience watching the transformation of the driveway/backyard with the new pavers in place. Jorge was the project manager and he communicated all the steps along the way and did a good job in keeping the project on track. I must also mention the no-pressure, make-sense, and informative approach of our estimator, Miguel, who provided our free estimate and went over it with my wife to adjust the scope as we went further into the process. Environmental Landscaping was recommended by my co-worker and I will recommend them to potential customers without any reservations. It's very hard for anyone who works in the service industry to deliver bad news to clients.  Nir understands that it's better to speak openly and honestly, than to disappoint his clients.  I was never surprised with Nir.  I always knew what was going on.  If I texted him with a question, he responded right away.  If I called him, he answered (What a revelation!)  If I had a problem or wasn't happy with something, he addressed it.  Their are a lot of contractors out there who do great work.  But for me, great service and reliability are the tie-breakers, and All County won me over there, big time.  When we started this project, Nir was a stranger.  A random business owner that I found on yelp.  At the completion of our project, I really do consider him a friend.  Construction is never fun.  But in the end, we have a new backyard that we're absolutely in love with.  A gorgeous modern covered pergola (with recessed lighting), 4000 sq ft of sand finished concrete, hundreds of feet of retaining and barrier walls, frameless IPE gates, an entirely new lawn & irrigation system, and a 50 foot long wood slatted patio cover.  I've given Nir's phone number to at least 20 friends, and I will continue to do so in the future.  Thank you Nir and all the crew.
