That was a huge job with a very large area to be done. The second job was to replace a fence that had blown down during the Altadena fire and wind storm. Both jobs were executed perfectly, and they make my home look new! The jobs were managed by Tommy Marudi, and he did a great job making sure all my concerns were met and the jobs were completed as I expected. You have a very happy customer! I had a great experience working with Mark and Eminent Construction on my paving project…read more I first reached out to Mark in November 2020 for a quote to pave my front and backyard. Due to personal reasons, I had to put the project on hold for a while and didn't end up signing the contract until April 2022. For due diligence, I got quotes from several other paving contractors at the time. Material prices had skyrocketed across the board, and while his prices aren't the bottom-of-the-barrel lowest, among reputable, established companies, his pricing was very competitive. A couple of other options told me straight up to go with Eminent because they couldn't match his quote. Mark was able to honor his original 2020 pricing because he keeps a large inventory of pavers stored in his own warehouse. At first, I was a little worried that a lower price might mean cutting corners, but that wasn't the case at all--his work product is excellent, and so are his people. Once work began in April 2022, his team showed up right on time. Mark's guys are nice and awesome to work with, getting the job done quickly with great quality. My sister is extremely skeptical when it comes to contractors and service companies--she is not easy to please at all--but even she mentioned how impressed she was with the quality of their work. Midway through, I had several major changes, including asking him to redo the stairs, pour concrete out in my garage, add railings to the new stairs, and add custom railings to my existing front steps. Even though concrete isn't his main focus (he specializes mostly in pavers), he took it on and got his guys out here fast to redo the garage floor. On top of that, his metalworking contractors who handled the railings are second to none--the custom metalwork turned out incredible. His follow-up support has been just as solid. Recently, I noticed an issue with those stairs built back in April 2022 and brought it to Mark's attention. He didn't ask a million questions or give me any pushback--he just asked for a couple of pictures and had his crew out to fix it right away without any hassle. Finding a straight-shooting, trustworthy contractor is rare. I trust Mark completely and would recommend Eminent Construction to anyone.

Finding a reliable, trustworthy and reasonably priced tradesperson is really challenging these days…read morebut they are out there. Pineda's Masonry is one of those that are out there and I'm glad that I was able to hire Victor and his company to fix my damaged wall. The quote I received from them wasn't the least expensive but it was far from being the most expensive and landed right about in the middle of all the other quotes. However, the quote from Pineda's was detailed with what work was going to be done, the area that was going to be worked on and the scope of work listed wasn't creating far more work than necessary given that it was a 50+ yr old brick wall that survived major earthquakes and was only damaged because a careless driver drove into it. When Victor and his crew did the job, they were neat and thorough in their work. The area that was worked on was swept clean and all residue from the demolition of the damaged wall was undetectable and the broken brick was taken away the same day. Once the mortar for the repaired wall had dried and there was no rain in the forecast, they finished by putting the colored smooth stucco. All in all, my experience was very positive from getting the quote all the way up to the completion. Victor did a good job of communicating the process and timeframe and set reasonable expectations which were all met. Highly recommended!

There was no reason to be afraid. Gamera avoided the workmen as they had no food. They put up the fence in two days and the final product is gorgeous. I cannot wait to plant some roses in a garden that we dedicated to my mother over 20 years ago but could not cultivate because of the tortoise who likes to eat everything in his path. We were afraid about the pandemic and how things would get done but it was so quick and they worked so fast. Dave was great to work with and communicated well. Outstanding Work from Start to Finish!…read more If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Roy and his team completely transformed our entire front yard, installing a beautiful new paver walkway and porch with built-in lighting, brand new sod, a sprinkler system, and full landscaping. The end result is stunning. We officially have the best grass in the neighborhood! From our very first conversation, Roy was incredibly professional, transparent, and communicative. He made every step of the process effortless by clearly breaking down our options, walking us through design choices, and ensuring we felt completely confident before work even began. The installation crew was incredible. They are true craftsmen whose attention to detail and efficiency are top-notch. What was originally quoted as a two-week project was completed in just about a week while delivering absolute top-tier quality. Roy and his team…read morewere very friendly and professional, they cleaned up at the end of each day, and they went above and beyond my expectations. A little backstory...My entire house had been under a massive reconstruction for over a year-and-a-half. During that time the water had to be turned off, killing all of the grass and most of the plants, and turning my entire yard into a dirt lot with overgrown weeds. It was a hot mess. I wanted new drought-resistant plants and artificial grass with a drip system instead of sod grass with a sprinkler system like I had before, but Roy also made some great recommendations that I hadn't even considered. The most significant was replacing my old concrete patio with a bigger patio made of sand-colored pavers. What a difference that made! I couldn't believe that the entire landscaping job was done in just five days, and Roy let me know he was also available afterwards for any questions I might have. Six weeks later, when I had questions about my new drip system controller and wanted to make sure my plants were getting enough water, Roy personally came back out to my house and walked me through all of it. When he left he told me, "Just reach out if you need anything else. I'm here." And Roy means it. He truly wants you to be happy with the work they do and will go the distance to make sure you are. Also, if there is something you'd like done that they don't do (like trimming very tall trees), Roy will have a referral for you. I'm so happy I found Home Sweet Home. Not only did they turn my ugly dirt lot into a beautiful yard again, but it looks 10 times better than it did when I first bought my house in 2007! Thanks, guys!

Working with Joseph was seamless--he was extremely organized and communicative throughout the whole process. He's the whole reason we chose Regal instead of the other quotes we got and he really came through on everything we wanted while also giving us his valuable opinion. It was a decent-sized scope: we pulled out a row of old overgrown bougainvillea (stumps, roots and all), demolished a concrete slab by the garage, added a new flagstone pathway and patio, decomposed granite replaced an entire lawn, mulch and decorative pebble in the front yard, a long podocarpus privacy hedge, full drip irrigation conversion with smart timers, and landscape lighting in the front and back. They even installed our new fire pit for us. Joseph walked the property with us, gave real opinions about what would and wouldn't work instead of just saying yes to everything, and stayed reachable by text the whole way through.
