I didn't notice any active cleaning or organizing taking place, and the two employees at the front desk seemed unfamiliar with the promotions being advertised. It made the check-in process confusing and gave the impression that staff were not well informed (also took away from the time kids could play/were standing around waiting). Later I did notice one employee "cleaning" with gloves on so I thought she was using chemicals or organizing but it was just mostly just dumping all the toys into the shopping cart. The promotion itself ended up being much less of a deal than it appeared online. Overall, the experience left me disappointed, especially considering the cost. I had been considering this venue for a future birthday party for my children, but after seeing how things were run during this visit, I will likely look elsewhere. For the price being charged for these parties, I expected a cleaner, more organized, and better-managed experience. Compared to other local centers, the activities were limited/disorganized. There were toys and junk everywhere. On top of that, the owner reprimanded us because the kids went in and out of the carpeted area "too many times." The entire environment felt hostile. The owner literally hovered over us the entire time we were there, making us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. A children's play center should be a fun, stress-free environment for families, not a place where toddlers are monitored like they're walking a tightrope. We will absolutely never be back. Unfortunately, our area was hit by a winter storm, and a state of emergency was declared both that weekend and the following weekend. Travel conditions were unsafe, especially for children and families attending the party. I notified the business as soon as possible, but they refused to refund the deposit and only offered rescheduling, for an additional $250. At that point, my daughter's birthday had already passed, so there was no reason to reschedule a birthday party weeks later. I understand businesses have policies, but emergencies and state-declared weather events are beyond a customer's control. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly, but no resolution was offered. I'm sharing this so other families are aware before booking, especially during winter months when weather can impact plans. The owner commented below- families let's use common sense as to why the party was canceled just four hours prior, the snow began coming down heavily, and I couldn't in good conscience ask my family members to travel on dangerous roads. The food was really good and I found out they order from the Hudson Grille that is in the same plaza. My one complaint would be the event coordinator Meg! It was even more baffling when I found out that Meg is also an owner, which is disappointing that her customer service skills are below subpar. There was a miscommunication with the decor set up, which wasn't the problem it was how she handled the situation. She was very rude and disrespectful so much so that the other ladies on the staff had to keep apologizing for her rudeness. I will also say I had to call and leave several voicemails and send an email before she called me back leading up to the party which I wasn't a fan of. The day of the party the other staff members were so helpful and accommodating with bringing my vision to life I really appreciated them. I probably won't be back because bad customer service has a lasting effect but it it a really nice facility and all the kids enjoyed themselves.
