two plates of food on a table

Came here a few times and always had a good experience. It can be a tad tricky to find the place especially from broad Ave but once you find the store sign to enter through the door, you walk thru the hallway until you find the elevator. Once you get off the elevator you will know where it is and someone will seat you once you enter thru the entrance. The last time I went, I got this bowl of fruit frozen wine drink. It's kinda like a slushy fruit bowl with alcohol. This is meant for sharing and it was not too sweet, be careful because there is alcohol and you don't taste much of it but you will feel it. My friend wanted to try the intestine dish, I'm not a fan in general but tried a few pieces. Also got the chicken and scallion dish and that was really solid. Overall, solid spot to grab bites and drinks, similar to the Pocha spots around the area.

Came with a group of 8 on a Friday evening around 11:30pm. Wasn't too busy (maybe 4-5 other parties). Ordered two servings of budae-jjigae, corn cheese, intestines, noodles in creamy mala sauce, couple bowls of rice, and ended with the hwachae. Food came out quickly. Kitchen closes at 12:30am. Budaejjigae came on a hot plate so the ramen could cook - thin slices of hot dog, surprise slices of pepperoni, tofu, kimchi, zucchini, etc. Mala noodles (new item) was SO good. Surprisingly spicy, but very tasty - sauce was so good I mixed rice in the leftover sauce. Intestines came with dipping accouterments (soybean flour, sauce), and plenty of aromatics (kimchi, scallion kimchi, slices of cooked garlic, raw jalapeños, and raw onions). Corn cheese was good, decent portion, with the cheese perfectly charred. S/o to the Korean friend who did all the ordering, asking for more water etc, but plenty of staff floating around. Just shy of $30 per person, and left very full! Parking lot not too small, but could see it getting packed when busy.

This is a Korean pocha and the vibes here are great. The menu is extensive and fairly priced. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and service is friendly. Would recommend!!

I went to Third Floor Cafe to celebrate a friend's birthday. The spot was a little tough to find but my friend told me later that there is parking directly outside the cafe (on the third floor of course). I opted for street parking and walked up the 3 flights of stairs to build up an appetite. We were a larger group but even on a busy Saturday evening they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly. The spot is decently sized with plenty of seating. It's clean but it's pretty dark inside with an average-noisy noise level. Typical pocha vibes. My friend took care of ordering all the food. The portions are pretty big and good for sharing. The first thing to come out was the chicken and it was crispy and seasoned well. Everyone ate it so fast that I wasn't even able to get a picture of it. Everything we ordered basically had kimchi in it, but I was a fan. It had some sourness, some umami, and just enough spice. It went well with the rice, the pork belly, and in the stew. I didn't try anything new, but everything was delicious. I would definitely come back to try some other dishes.

Rating: 9/10 Date Last Visited: 8/31/2025 We ordered a variety of Korean dishes, including boneless Korean fried chicken dishes, multiple soups, and seafood pancake. Each dish tasted above average for the dish - all had great flavor and portion sizes. My favorite dishes were the boneless chicken with scallion salad and sweet and spicy boneless chicken. The soups were a close second. This place is a great place to eat good food while drinking. The staff is also super nice - they heard us sing happy birthday to one of our friends and brought over a free drink with a sparkler. We also received a free bottle of beer for leaving a Google review (my rating is not influenced by that, but just stating this fact). They also broke up a fight between two drunk customers and apologized to us for the commotion. The prices were also pretty good, we spent a little under $50/person which included 8 dishes, a pitcher of beer, and 4 bottles of soju. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a pocha with good food.

@foodie_starry Just found my new obsession: Spicy Mala Rice Cakes with Chicken! From now on, every other hot pot and spicy stew is just second best! This dish is a game-changer. Tender chicken, gooey rice cakes, and vegetables like cabbage and mushrooms all simmered in a savory broth that's spicy yet sippable - truly a bite of heaven. It's a hundred times better than any hot pot, army stew, or spicy hot soup I've ever had! Also tried their 'Kraken'--a massive dish with stir-fried chicken, octopus, and shrimp laid over creamy mashed potatoes and drizzled with a sweet-spicy Korean sauce. Perfectly balanced in flavor and freshness. Don't miss out on the Grilled Shrimp; they're large, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The Boneless Chicken with Scallion Salad is another must-try, with its crispy exterior and garlicky, refreshing finish. Toasted the meal with a bottle of grape-flavored Soju which paired wonderfully with the spicy rice cake and chicken. A perfect spot for group dining with a wide variety of dishes, though note they only serve dinner and sadly, no desserts or hot beverages available. Make sure to check it out for an unforgettable dining experience!

This food was actually KILLER!!!!!! Oh my flapping goodness. I would get every single thing I got again. Fried calamari nachos ???? Yesssssssssss but legit each thing here was a knockout. The lava shrimp was insane! I never had shrimp like that! The ambiance was lowkey and cool. Good for a group of friends to share food and get drinks with. A lot of service too!! They had karoke as well. Have to check out that next time

Came to Third Floor Cafe in Palisades Park and had a blast. We got the soju + Terra beer combo for $33 -- such a great deal that we ended up ordering it three times! The vibes here are super chill and perfect for hanging out late -- we ended up staying until close at 2AM. Also grabbed some appetizers like fries and chicken wings to go along with the drinks. Everything hit the spot. If you're looking for a good local Korean spot for food, drinks, and Korean alcohol, this is it. Great energy, solid menu, and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Came on a Friday early evening and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away. The staff were really attentive. We got the grilled pork belly, seafood pancake, corn cheese, and ddukbokki with don-katsu. We really liked everything. The pork belly pieces were a bit tough and big, and the dish wasn't hot enough but the flavor was super good. The place itself is great for groups and they also have karaoke.

It's the perfect spot to gather with friends for food, drinks, and karaoke. I tried the Scallion Chicken which was crispy, bite sized, and served in a savory dipping sauce. So easy to eat and enjoy! The Corn Cheese was probably the most cheese I've ever seen on this dish; an absolute dream if you're a cheese lover. The Spicy Beef Stew was warm, comforting, and tender with the perfect kick. The Hamburger Meat dish was decadent and rich over sweet caramelized onions. The Cheesy Omelette was one of our favorites! Cheesy on the inside with crispy garlic on top. Bulgogi Tacos had tender meat and was a harmonious blend of Korean and Mexican flavors. The Cheesy Spicy Chicken was insanely delicious. A massive, shareable portion filled with chicken, potatoes, rice cakes and onions, completely blanketed in cheese. I'd come back just for this! However, the Kimchi & Seafood Pancakes had great flavor, but unfortunately they came out a bit soggy, so I'd probably skip these next time. Pair all of this amazing food with their flavored soju and chilled beer, and finish the night off in their karaoke rooms. This place has amazing vibes and ever better food and drinks!

I had been to Soosanghan Pocha before for some karaoke but never really had their food. It's a pretty large space and given how early it was the space was practically empty. I ordered a burger skillet and my girlfriend got the Army Stew. The Army Stew was good and comforting on a chilly morning. It was packed with all different kinds of processed meats and some noodles. My burger skillet was a lot bigger than i expected and it tasted really good. It was essentially a huge burger patty in a bed of caramelized onions with an egg on top. The meat was super juicy and flavorful. It was pretty tender too. It was on the saltier side, especially if you got a spoonful of the sauce. But that just means it paired especially well with the white rice it was served with. The service was quick and friendly, but I expected it to be with the restaurant basically empty. Overall I enjoyed the meal and would come back to try some more of their dishes.
