Picked up breakfast this morning and it was a disappointing experience. Kids did not eat the highly recommended items by the sales people. The healthy pop tarts were simply not eaten, the kids didn't eat the doughnuts which never happens, the blueberry cake I thought was okay but kids did not like it very much. Everything was thickly covered with a sugar frosting that was not tasty or flavorful! Not sure how this place had the reviews it has. It was clean and staff was pleasant. read more

I like Third Coast and really appreciate their GF offerings. I would have appreciated if they had listed all of the ingredients in their teas (I believe they're called Rishi teas?), and for them to know their tea selection better. I asked the barista for peppermint tea which I usually know to be caffeine free, and she didn't know what they had so she directed me to a menu. I'm very sensitive to caffeine and ordered a chaga chai from the menu as I saw nothing on caffeine listed, however there must have been black tea or something in there as the afternoon tea kept me awake until 2am. read more

So many vegan and gluten free options - in fact the whole bakery caters to food allergies and sensitivities. It's before downtown, has parking. Both items we got were vegan and even gluten free. They do a great job - most gluten free baking in my experience is gummy or flakey, definitely not the case here. read more

We ordered a wedding cake, a groom's cake, cherry pies, and donuts, and every single piece was gone at the end of the night - and we were worried we ordered too much. I live in the Ann Arbor area and we have nothing like this place! Everyone was super friendly and warm, and the baked goods.... mmmm. We tried two donuts, a cinnamon roll, and a scone. The donuts were definitely the stars, but we enjoyed everything. The lattes were also yummy. I appreciated that the things with eggs were labeled (I'd thought everything was vegan so I was initially a little bummed). I am vegan but not gluten free, and found the textures pretty close to my usual gluten-y treats. My only sad is that they were closed Sunday so we didn't make it for a return visit! Luckily I have family nearby so I'll be back. read more

Definitely the best vegan gluten free place I know of! They are super creative and try to accommodate everyone. I like that they're able to tell me everything in their products. Every time I come in the baristas are super happy to see me. Also the wedding cakes are spectacular! They remember my favorites and take suggestions for new products when I really crave something! This is a boutique bakery. You are not going here to buy the office a dozen donuts. One smallish cake donut cost $2. It was very dense, not my favorite presentation of a cake donut. There were only a few choices of cake donuts, a few muffins and a cupcake flavor. If you have dietary issues then maybe this is the place. read more
