I needed last minute shirts printed for a service project/birthday weekend trip to LA for one of my friends. I called TH!NK Screen Printing 2 days before the trip and Kelsey of TH!NK advised me to go to their website tendollarshirtstore.com where I could design my own shirt and have them printed within 24 hours. I was confused why they didn't have the same company names, but the website let me design a something quick in the "Design Studio" tab. I was able to easily find templates that I could play with (I used the Live, Love, Dance logo in the School Activities design category). The colors weren't what I hoped for, but after playing around, you can change the colors & text. I paid $10 for each shirt printed on a white, Next Level Premium Ringspun T-Shirt. The shirts were soft and somewhat thick, but good in quality (I prefer the 60/40 poly blends but this was pretty good for last minute). I paid an additional $50 rush fee ($100 total) and the order went right to TH!NK. Before I purchased, I called Kelsey again and asked if there were any discount codes/offers. She gave me a code for 10% off which I thought was nice. I was really happy with how the shirts turned out as I was able to use as many colors as I wanted and could move the words/designs around to my liking. There were 2 downfalls that stopped me from giving a 5 star rating, however. The first, I wished the colors printed a little more bright like shown on the website (see pics). Although, colors are usually not exact when printed with any company. Second, because I was in a rush to receive the shirts, I wished they'd called me to let me know they were finished as a courtesy. I had to call them to check on my order and when in a rush to get things done last minute for a trip, I would have liked having the comfort of knowing this order was taken care of and ready for me to pick up. I pulled in 5 minutes before they closed and was able to get my shirts on time, however if they had called, I could have come sooner. All in all I had a great experience and the staff seemed friendly and thankful of my service (both on the phone and in person). I liked that John from TH!NK had called me a week later to see how I felt about my service/prints. I like supporting small, local businesses and felt over all they did a good job of assisting me!! I would use this company again in the future.

I want to thank Sarah at Think! She has helped me design my shirts for comicon. Meaning I am helping a friend with his auto shop and she put it in the computer for me, put it in photoshop for me and helped redesign my logo. I appreciate everything she's done for me. Also ask for Manny as well. The shirts 9.99 on white and depending on what other shirt is what the price is. I'm excited because running and starting a business is difficult and I do not have photoshop so it's a learning process. They were super awesome for me. They had a malfunction with their machine but they still got my order done anyway so shoutout to them.

I truly wanted to leave a positive review for this shop, but my experience has been extremely…read moredisappointing from beginning to end. I was originally told they would create a free sample shirt for me within two days. Instead, it took over a week. Even with the delay, the sample shirt turned out nice, so I decided to place a bulk order worth over $400. I was told I would receive my shirts within one to three business days, but I ended up waiting eighteen days while dealing with repeated mistakes and miscommunication. During this time, I made multiple trips to the store because the promised timeframe had already passed, and I assumed my order would be ready. Each time, it was not. After all the inconvenience, I expected some form of compensation, whether a refund, a discount, or at least acknowledgment of the delays and the unnecessary back and forth. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly hound them just to get them to address the issues and attempt to make things right. One of my designs was printed on the wrong shirts, and instead of taking responsibility, they tried to place the blame on me even though my designs were clearly planned and communicated ahead of time. The kids shirt I ordered also had a logo that was not fully pressed, with the edges visibly lifting off the fabric. This entire process has been a headache. If you want your shirts done correctly and within the timeframe you are promised, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

In the past couple of years, I've heard a lot of Splinter. I've seen the awesome work they turn…read moreout, their incredible work ethic, and their passion for what they do each day. And now, I've experienced it. I recently had the opportunity to work with Brandon on a project that is smaller in size, but huge in impact. Our team met with his team in their offices for some brainstorming and content creation (we're both creative groups and wanted very much to have the influence of both groups on our project). Our varied schedules required us to meet at night, after everyone had put in a full day's work. I was exhausted, but the energy Brandon brought rejuvenated my brain and (some) of my creative juices. After a couple hours of focused work and intense brainstorming, we had a plethora of content to work with. While I wasn't involved in the steps that followed, I was very aware of the authoritative approach Splinter took, recognizing the pertinent details and excellence in our varied and extensive content. The result? An outstanding product that blew away even my greatest expectations. I sincerely wish I had more business to take to Splinter, simply because I can recognize greatness when I see it. I tend to be very technical, often lacking true creativity. So to be able to work seamlessly with the creatives at Splinter speaks volumes of them. The ability to interpret what a client is relaying and translate that into a final product that goes so far beyond satisfaction is not just a skill or a talent, it's a gift. And Splinter has it.

Brandon Cook, the owner of splinter, will give you a price to do something and when it doesn't work…read morewill charge again to fix it. He charged for a core feature on our website that him and his team developed. It didn't work for over a year. He then tried to bill us to fix it. The website had 404 errors way before he changed servers and then sent a bill to fix it, but he blamed it on the new server. He also illegally got into our customer database, on the server, and retrieved one of our admin log in credentials and then used those log in credentials to make himself another admin account after we terminated his services. To this day he refuses to give us our backups of the website or ftp log in credentials so we can migrate the site to another host after we spent upwards of 150k with him. I would steer clear of this company because they charge to fix issues that should have worked from the get go and break in to the backside of your website after their services were terminated. He spent so much time trying to find me a good deal (and we know that in business, time is money). I was so surprised at the price he was going to charge me that I insisted on maying 33% more (people that go above and beyond deserve to be fairly compensated). I know enough about the computer hardware business (having done it a bit in the 90s) that I can tell he has the highest ethical standards. For those that don't understand troubleshooting and technology, unethical folks could talk circles around clients to take advantage of them. Mark is 100% the opposite of this and is how we want everyone who does work for us to treat us - with integrity and at reasonable prices. Hopefully, in our work this is how we all treat our own clients and employers. If we want to see more good honest workmanship in the world, we need to recognize it when we see it and share it with others... as I am doing here.

I've always been able to send the files over my computer and generally speaking they would call me a couple of hours later and say that the job is done and come pick it up. That's worked really well for me. At this new location I bumped into people that I'm not seen before. Maybe the old regulars left. They were pretty good. Last week I tried to send a print job at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Their system kept telling me I'd have to pick the job up the next day which was no bueno since I'd be on a plane out of state with those manuals. I finally copied the file to a USB and drove up there to see if I could get it printed so it could go into my suitcase. One guy offered to help me while the other one was playing with his phone almost the entire time I was there because it was so slow. I told him I couldn't figure out why if they're not all that busy it was pushing my print job to the following day which would not work for me. He told me it was likely that their system at a certain point in the afternoon just pushed everything forward. They got it done for me but when I was paying my bill I noticed that they added a $35 priority fee that I've never seen the last 10 years. I put the manuals in my car and went back inside and ask about this fee. The guy who was playing with his phone stopped long enough to tell me it was because the job was done the same day, a rush job. That struck me as quite odd since there was almost no one in there the whole time I was waiting...and he was standing behind the counter playing with his phone the whole time. I said if you're going to tack on a $35 rush fee then you should let somebody know that before you print the job. His only question was 'well if we had told you would you still have needed the manuals?' I said of course And then ask myself WTF? I guess he thought he had bested me on the $35 fee that I had never heard of in over a decade of printing there. I miss the old regulars. Hope they're doing well out there someplace.
