Lindsay became my bff the second I walked in…read more So here's the sitch. Im visiting from NYC and getting a prdicure at a nail salon around the corner. Sitting next to Kat, we instantly start chatting up and talking about the neighborhood and our trip. We're in Chicago and then heading to Vegas for a festival which I still don't have an outfit for. And as luck would have it, she says she works at Felt around the corner and we should definitely head over! We head over to the magical world of Felt and meet the magical Lindsay. Lindsay was my fairy godbestie. She listened to where we were going, my style, and my body. I recently lost weight so I don't have lots of clothes or much style. Clothing shopping has always been tough for me. Lindsay pulled together pieces for me and set up a room. Cue the early 2000's movie changing room montage. Also did I mention the free champagne?! So I'm switching in and out of outfits for my partner and Lindsay to look at on the couch and big mirror which my partner and I drink champagne. I didn't even give Lindsay my sizes (because I don't even know my size anymore) and yet almost every piece fit. And every piece was a different size, medium, large, different numbers, etc. like is she a wizard?! We left the store with summer shorts, an awesome blue, strapless top that ties in the back, and a white skirt with black polka dots for funsies for work (great material, holds it's like 60s waves and is double lined so not see through) Not only did I walk out of there with clothes, but I walked out of there happy, with CONFIDENCE, and a beautiful sense sisterhood. Lindsay is such a girls girl. As a curvy woman, clothing shopping can be tough and disheartening. But if there was a Lindsay in every store, the world would be a better place. P.S. for Lindsay: Girl, the Vegas festival was CANCELLED. Can you believe it?! lol but don't worry I will still be wearing these pieces all summer! Thank you for everything!

Shopping time again! And of course let me drop here my review for this boutique that I went too…read moreseveral hours ago. So, I'll start with the interior, it was nice, nothing special but not bad also. But unlike from the shops that I went to before, I can say that it is already common and they are comparable to others. But it's still good. Then for the staffs, well, they are nice, accommodating and friendly. They are assisting when I have questions or if I want to look for something around the shop. And of course, for the products, I can say that they have good quality, it was my first purchase from their shop and I am quietly satisfied from what I bought. So, I got 2 shirts for myself and 1 shirt for my brother. The texture and fabric look comfortable to wear, so thumbs up for that. I also like the shorts in their boutique but I have limited budget that time so, yeah maybe next time.

Prices are affordable and vary from clearance to high end. I can always find a great deal! It's special a great value for young ladies. Drop them off and sit at Scoops while they shop and shop and shop. Better yet catch a movie. One warning: Never, never, go in with them. If you make that mistake you will only do it once. Let them judge for themselves what they think is "fashion" while you get to spend $10 for a dress instead of $400 at Macy's. So, I'm converted. I'm gonna start checking out Marshalls and it's sister store, TJ Maxx, more regularly. I also find I really like their athletic section. Really, really cute Nike, Adidas etc. clothing for super cheap. I have this whole selection now of super cute. quality athletic gear, all of which I scored at Marshalls!
