They are a BBB member (with an A rating), family-run business out of Brentwood. I got 3 quotes from companies with the same BBB rating. Not only did Votaw come to give the quote the very day I called, they came in with the cheapest estimate. Removal and clean up only took half a day and I didn't need to be home for any of it. They also have a policy where a live person always answers the phone. A few times it was the owner, himself, so I never had to wait for my questions to be answered. I'm very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend them.

Ray's had excellent customer service from the first quote until the end of the job! They quoted a reasonable price and they were responsive with scheduling a date. Jeff called me the morning of the removal to let me know that they were coming and that no one needed to be there while they were working. I got home from work that afternoon to discover the tree completely gone and all of the mess cleaned up. Looking at the yard, other than some sawdust, you would never know that they had been there because all of the limbs were completely gone. There was also nothing in the driveway or the front of the house to indicate that there had been a tree removal that day. They also left an inch thick disk of wood that had been cut out of a tree branch on my daughters sand table. This was a very sweet touch and we are going to turn it into keepsake since this will be our first Christmas at the house.
