Have tried several tree companies over the years. By far the best experience with Maxima. Large pine dropped a large limb on property line fence. Jose gave a quote within hours of requesting quote that was nearly 50% less than the other estimates. Said he could have tree gone within a few days. Price and timing made the decision easy. They removed the fallen limb the next morning and the whole tree was gone within 36 hours from request. They put my fence back up (I didn't even request that) and they gave me a verbal report about whether or not they saw any holes/problems on my roof (per my request). Great communication from Jose. I needed to have five trees removed at two different properties, so looked up tree services on Yelp and left messages with three of them to get estimates. This was on a Tuesday. Jose (owner) from Maxima's called me back within an hour. He said that he could drive by the properties and get me an estimate the same day, and likely get the work done in 1-2 weeks. I received a written estimate from him that same night. The next day (Wed) Jose called back to say that he had a cancellation and could remove all of the trees on Thurs, and have the stumps ground on Saturday. I thought the estimate was very fair, so went ahead and booked him. They arrived earlier than the scheduled time, and got all of the trees at both properties removed in one day. Very professionally done and they did a great job with clean up. The stumps were ground on Saturday as promised. It should also be noted that another of the companies that I called did not call me back until Thursday (as the work was already being done), and even though I responded that I no longer needed help they are still texting me to give me an estimate. The third company never even bothered to call me back. Both are lucky that I am not naming them here. I could not recommend Maxima's more highly. read more

You will NOT regret using Maxima's Tree Service. We had them remove a huge, dying River Birch tree in our backyard yesterday. Stellar job! Very professional, competitive pricing, great communication and great customer service. Their reviews speak for themselves!! I initially learned about Maxina's while sitting at a red light in south county. I glanced over to the gas station on the corner and saw one of their trunks while I was stopped at a red light. I had not heard of them before, but thought, "that looks like a professional outfit". So, I snapped a picture of the truck to get their contact information before the light turned green. I researched their company and was impressed by their 5.0 reviews, so called them on a recent Saturday morning. Jose answered the phone promptly. He said he could stop by about 6pm that evening. He texted us when he was on his way, gave us a bid and told us he could do the work in about two weeks. Even though we'd had a bid from a different company earlier in the day, we hired Jose' firm on the spot. His bid was more competitive than the first one, but more importantly he struck me as someone very easy to deal with, trustworthy and a competent businessman. He stayed in touch with us as that time drew near to arrange the specific day and time. Jose and his team arrived at the time promised and promptly went to work. There isn't a lot of clearance between our house and the neighbors...and in that space is also a big Ameren box and an air conditioning unit. Jose made sure his team trimmed the branches before carrying them out so as not to hit anything on their way to the chipper. He even put plywood against our house to make sure nothing would hit our siding. That attention to detail impressed us because we've seen another tree service in our neighborhood not take that care. I had them leave a stump about 3 foot high so I could use it for plants. The team member worked with me to insure I was satisfied with the height of it. The crew worked very efficiently together, carrying out tree parts as they hit the ground. In no time, the tree was down and the entire team did a great job of cleaning up the yard, the deck and even got a small branch off the neighbor's roof for us that had blown out of our tree two weeks before they came.
