I first used Thermal King Windows in my previous house that was about 10 years old. I wanted to replace my front living room windows that faced the north, because they were leaking. I was very impressed with the sales presentation; especially with the heat lamp placed on 1 side of the window that I couldn't even feel the heat on the other side of the window! Then, when they came back to take out my old windows and put in the new windows, they were able to do everything in 1 day! That definitely worked with my schedule. When they finished, you couldn't even tell any work had been done in my living room...except for the new windows! They cleaned up everything! I was so impressed with my new windows, I went ahead and replaced the rest of my windows. We've since replaced them with Thermal King's double doors and have been extremely pleased with the results, no more too hot or too cold experiences with that room. Then, a couple of years ago, we found out our builder's team had used the wrong caulking around the windows. This caused the window frames, over time, to buckle and start to leak. My experience with Thermal King was really, really good. We bought two windows and a door from them and found their sales person to be knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. It was less like a sales pitch and more like educating us on replacement windows (which we knew nothing about). I don't think there's anyone who, after seeing their window can question that they are heads and shoulders above anything else on the market. The windows we have cut the sound almost completely out, there's not a breath of wind coming through the windows and we have actually seen our gas and electric bill go down since installing. The back door we installed is beautiful and seals up like the door to a bank safe. I also wanted to mention the installers. They were great guys, very respectful of our home -- cleaned up after themselves. Just a real joy to be around. This was the third time I have used Thermal King. They did two rounds of window replacement with the best windows on the market several years ago. I did not have any problems. The windows were installed by professional installers who were friendly and did a great job and were on time. I immediately noticed my electric/gas bill drop. When the time came to put on some siding, I knew I would use Thermal King because they have the best products out there. Most of the time you get what you pay for. The order was placed and the siding was replaced about two weeks earlier than what I was originally told. Great news since my old wood siding has experienced some major wood pecker damage. The crews showed up on time, were friendly, did great work, and completed the job on time. If this was a restaurant I'd say the food was great and the service even greater-er. However.....We have just completed a 4 year odyssey to replace all the windows in our home, basement, sliding glass doors, and all rooms on the main floor. After we established ourselves as a customer with the first installation, the sales rep continued to work with us, providing outstanding customer service over the multi-year project. Each installation went without a hitch. Windows installed properly, area cleaned up after installation. With each installation we immediately noticed a drastic change in the internal temps in the affected rooms. Summers were cooler and winter was warmer. We replaced our double "pain" windows with Thermal King triples and no longer get sunburned while sitting near our sliding glass doors, and the doors no longer frost up in the winter. I am very pleased with my Thermal King Windows. It wasn't a purchase I was looking forward to, kind of like a trip to the dentist. I would much rather plan a trip to the beach, but Thermal King made our experience quick and painless. I didn't even mind writing the check at the end because our windows were so fantastic. Everything from our first meeting with their salesperson to the installation was professional and they were very tentative to both mine and my husbands concerns. I've even noticed that our air conditioning is more efficient. We used to set our thermostat at 69 or 70 and now set it at 74 or 75. I am certain it's because our windows are not allowing the heat to enter in. The other great thing is that we will not have to buy windows, as long as we live in this house, again...but if we move we will DEFINITELY buy Thermal King Windows! read more

we were met by Eddie at our farm home and he explained the options and the product integrity. We had been sold on buying the product previously by our son who has his whole house in TK windows and doors. I thought the price was high compared to other options at the big box stores but wanted to try these. We purchased 9 windows. The installers Darren and Anthony, were excellent. They worked diligently in removing each old window and then installing the new, both kept busy the entire time working as a team. There was some wood rot on a couple of the openings and it was repaired or replaced . After each window was completely installed they cleaned up the area and also cleaned the windows and left the area better than new. I would buy TK Windows again. read more

Thermal King did a fabulous job installing our windows. Scott in the office was very professional and was all about doing whatever I needed. Steve Sage was our sales person. He did a fabulous job of explaining their product and how the installation would go. The installation crew was great. They were very professional and were willing to answer any questions I had and when they were finished, I couldn't even tell I just had windows installed. They clean the windows perfectly and hang back up the curtains and blinds.We have had our windows for about 2 weeks and I can already tell a difference in temperature control and noise. I had a great experience with Thermal King. I had two windows replaced and the sales person couldn't have been nicer. He was polite, informative, and seemed genuinely interested in educating us about replacement windows then letting us make our decision. Thermal King's windows really are the best ones out there. We made the decision to pay a little more money and have the best window installed rather than go the $189 route (which I think we can all agree is loss leader) and have a cheap window. I would strongly suggest anyone who is looking at replacing windows in their house, at least call Thermal King so you can see what the top of the line window looks like and have something to compare with the others. read more

Have systematically replaced our homes original windows and sliding door with the Thermal King. I like quality so I did review three other companies first. Pella, Anderson, and Champion... were all priced similar, but; wanted to send in the high pressure sales clowns... only after refusing to give any price range in advance. Started with front of the house... then te remaining windows, and just completed the BBQ deck sliding door. Thermal King showed up on time... respected my time & were very careful to protect my home during installation. They look great and I am already seeing less energy used for heating and cooling. We love the look and function of our Thermal King windows. We completed the replacement of all our windows in three stages which was great to have some flexibility (at the time). The crews showed up when they said they would, the workmanship is quality and workers were professional. The only thing we would have done differently is to replace all of them at once. The price tag for the entire home came with some sticker shock at the time but, in hindsight, we could have started saving the maximum amount on our energy bills a lot sooner. The sales pitch was a bit lengthy and no price mentioned until the very end as some have mentioned. They are more expensive than most competitors but offer superior value. read more

We just had our second 'set' of windows installed by Thermal King which completes our house. We were thrilled with the experience and the windows are exactly what we wanted. They look fantastic. Installation was very easy and both times the crew was done in just a few hours with no mess. Our strawberry patch didn't even have any dust on it! In this day and age, online consumer reviews are an important part of a company's reputation. People need to take more time to think before posting a 1-star review just because. Wow- I Love my Patio Doors. I just had them installed and i can't believe how nice they are! The Salesman told me they were great but guess what! He's wrong. they are EVEN better then he said. They roll great, keep the air out and look Beautiful! I Know it sounds weird to say, but I'm so excited about what a huge difference the doors make in the comfort of my home. Over the past two years, I've had Thermal King replace 100% of my windows and doors, and I am NOT disappointed! Instead of running my a/c at 68 in the summer, most days I'm at 72 . .or higher! Winters are just as good with 70 or 72 being comfy for me. I expect even better this coming winter, since they just replaced my front door. The old one let the wind flow under it TOO freely! The work was excellent and fast. The arrived on time. Worked diligently. Cleaned up after themselves beautifully. All I was left with was comfort and coziness and new doors and windows. We are very happy with our Thermal King windows. Several years ago we swapped out our windows with Thermal King triple pane windows. A primary driver was the heat generated on the front of our house with a western exposure and six windows. It made a huge difference in the subsequent utility bills as well as the comfort of the home both in the summer and winter months. It's been several years but Thermal King has stood behind their lifetime warranty and replace windows if a seal has failed on them as recently as last week. While we absolutely believe the price was exactly where it needed to be for the quality of the product, we did not make a deal today because we do not plan on living in this home for much longer.
