About 2 months ago, we decided to replace our windows. They were wood, double hung, old, drafty,…read moreand had moisture intrusion issues. We narrowed down the choice between ProVia and Simonton. We contacted ProVia and found 3 certified installers in the area: Windura, Bordner, and Johnson County Window and Siding. Jeff and his son came to the residence to measure and quickly sent us a quote. After they left, I heavily researched the companies online reviews, their BBB report, and any potential prior lawsuits though Joco's website. The other two companies wanted to treat the current wood rot on the brick mould and then wrap with vinyl. We currently have EIFS siding, had hired an EIFS inspector prior to window shopping, and he advised us it wouldn't be a good idea to wrap. He said he sees brick mould that rots anyway due to sealant failure and that we would be taking too much of a risk for moisture intrusion if we wrapped. He recommended we hire Windura instead of the other 2 contractors because they were the only contractor that stated the brick mould needed to be replaced with PVC. PVC is compatible with EIFS installs. Wood is not. They were not the cheapest bid, but they certainly were not the highest. I was highly skeptical that the PVC brick mould would look good, but we took the advice of the inspector. We ordered ProVia Endure Vinyl for the upper two levels and Milgard sliders for the basement. We put 25% down, they ordered our windows, and we waited about 9 weeks for an install due to their schedule. I wasn't entirely happy with the wait but it was worth it. The Jeff's team arrived on time every day, were respectful of the property, were careful about not damaging the EIFS (I was surprised how little touch up work will need to be done), were professional, and were very helpful and friendly. They replaced 5 wooden window sills as well that had som wood rot issues due to not being installed to the EIFS properly and didn't charge us for it. And the PVC looks magnificent. Excellent carpentry work. . I would definitely recommend Windura. They warrantied their work for 3 years, the windows are warrantied for a lifetime and can transfer once to a different owner, and if there is a problem with the windows, they are authorized by ProVia to make repairs per the warranty agreement. One company we considered hiring tried to tell us they were the only certified ProVia installer in the area and that ProVia would send them out if we ever filed a claim with them because they are the only ones authorized to handle their warranty claims in the area. This claim was invalidated when I read ProVia's warranty and when I placed a call to ProVia to validate the contractor's claim. This other contractor also quoted us almost $8k higher for the same windows. . .I won't name names, but if you look up the other 2 companies that quoted for ProVia, you will find how I reviewed the contractor. Scathing. We will definitely use Windura again when we begin to replace our doors. I would definitely recommend them if you want competitive pricing, quality workmanship, and business reliability. You won't walk away regretting that you hired them.

I actually can't ever imagine going through another company. They are direct with pricing and don't play games with pricing like some other companies ( which left a horrible taste in my mouth). He was polite, efficient, and most importantly NOT pushy. He did not down talk other companies, he simply did what he came to do, all the while with a smile on his face. Then we saw the quote and were shocked at how much less it was then we thought it would be. We were sold. Regardless of this pleasant experience, we went ahead and had two more quotes given to us. The companies were pushy and both tried to get us to sign a contract with them that day. They bad mouthed their competitors. They sent us mail trying to get us to sign with them for weeks. But what was most shocking was that their quotes were at least $1,000 more than NuSash for the same product and service. We choose NuSash without looking back. The day finally came for our windows to be installed. There were two men working on our house and we were told it would take two full days to complete (we have a total of 10 large windows). The men arrived on time, were curtious, and got right to work. They worked hard and did a great job. Because rain was in the forcast for the following day, once 5:30 rolled around, the men gave us the option of having them try to come back the next day to finish up or continuing to work that evening until the job was completed. We were thrilled that they were willing to do that for us and that our windows would all be installed before bedtime!! We ordered them some pizzas for dinner and they finished up the job that day. Not counting the lunch break they took, these two men worked on our home from 9:30am to 9:30pm; and the windows looked wonderful!! We were esactic, and three weeks later are still 100% satisfied with them!! The icing on the cake was when we woke up the next morning and went outside to see our new windows from the street. Not a single piece of trash had been left behind. No glass, no wood or siding pieces, no empty bottles of caulk. It was as though no one had ever been there; like the windows had simply replaced themselves!! This company not only has excellent products and services, but they have exceptionall professionalism and outstanding business practices. If you are looking to have work done on your home, may it be new windows or new siding, do yourself a favor and call NuSash. Then if you feel like it, waste your time and call some other companies too. One way or the other you will likely find yourself signing a contract with NuSash, and I can tell you from experience, you won't be sorry!!

There were a few small issues with some of the windows from manufacturing and installation, but they were quick to fix and made everything right. After the corrections, I found one more minor issue, and they were out in a couple of days and got it resolved. One of the biggest reasons we were able to accomplish so much at one time was because of the fair and competitive pricing Rolox offered us. Being able to take on this many improvements at once was a significant investment, and we truly feel we received an incredible value for what we spent. When making an investment of this size in your home, you obviously expect quality products, but we have always felt that a big part of what you're really paying for is the service that comes with those products--the integrity of the company, the accountability when something needs attention, and knowing they will stand behind their work. Rolox absolutely lived up to all of that. No project of this size is going to happen without a few things that need attention along the way, but what matters to us is how a company responds. Rolox consistently demonstrated a high level of integrity and accountability, made sure things were addressed, and ultimately made sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product. A HUGE shout-out to JR and his siding crew! They went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with everything they did and paid attention to the details that mattered to us. We truly appreciated their hard work and commitment to making sure everything was done right. We also can't say enough good things about our salesman, Dustin. He was great to work with from the very beginning and throughout the entire process. We even received a personal call from the owner, David, to make sure we were pleased with everything that had been done. That kind of personal follow-up speaks volumes about the integrity of a company and the people behind it. Our home has undergone an incredible transformation, and we absolutely love the finished result. Thanks to Rolox's fair pricing, we were able to accomplish far more than we originally thought we might be able to, while still receiving the level of quality and service we expected. Rolox delivered the quality products we wanted, at a fair price, with the level of service and accountability that makes such a major investment worthwhile. We give Rolox our HIGHEST recommendation!

The day of the appointment, the sales person was ill prepared making multiple trips to his vehicle for small items that he knew he would need. He was very aggressive in his sales approach, showing me things that I informed him I had already read or knew about windows. Once he gave me a price nearing $20,000 for 10 standard sized windows, he then came back with near half the price after I told him no. Being kind, I told him I would speak with my wife about the new price. He wrote up a financing agreement and proposal on paper rather than electronically. Then, he was upset and near indignant when I would not give him my SSN or sign without speaking to my wife. Ultimately, he left. Today, I received a call from the owner wanting my SSN and then was pushy with me telling him I would not be using the company. he became upset that I told him I felt the company was scamming people and why as well as pointed out the same concerns from others online. I told him goodbye and instructed that he not call me again and hung up. Not a minute later he called me again. I told him not to call me again and hung up. I then blocked his number and reported it as spam. NOT a company I would want to be associated with.

We were also looking to replace an original wood pane window with a new vinyl window to match the other more recently updated windows on the house. We did not have the budget to completely install all new siding, but still wanted the house to look like new and be well protected from further weathering. We contacted several companies and general contractors seeking bids. A couple were not very responsive and another claimed he could not closely match our current siding well enough and only wanted to sell us total siding, which we could not afford. Dalton seemed 100% confident he and his crew could accomplish what we were asking and give us a finished project we would be proud of; not to mention at a very fair price. Dalton and his crew were very prompt and efficient in completing the job. The only setback we encountered was having to be patient in waiting for ideal weather for painting, which was to be expected given we opted to begin the project late fall/early winter. Upon completion of each phase of the project, Dalton walked through with me explaining what they had done and made sure I was pleased with the work before going forward with further progress. He even called his painting crew back out to touch up some areas he noticed. In the end, Dalton came through as promised and provided us with a completely new looking house that we are very proud to call home.

Increasing my review from two stars to five, and that's only because six stars aren't an option! Will checked into what had happened with our original quote. Turns out the lack of follow up was due to a bad handoff of info when the estimator who we originally worked with was let go from the company, and our estimate had fallen between the cracks. Will sugarcoated nothing, and was straight with us on what had happened. Not only was he extremely apologetic for the situation, he was extremely determined to show us that our original experience is not what Andersen Contracting is about as a company. Will came out personally to rework the original quote, which we had in a matter of days. He was helpful in assisting us in planning the project, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond in adjusting the quote as our scope of work evolved. Here's the kicker - over a period of weeks while it took us far, FAR too long to make our final selections and decisions, Will was nothing but patient and helpful... I'm embarrassed to admit he was far MORE patient with us than we were in our first dealings with his company. He checked in periodically to check on status and offer any assistance we might need, but was never pushy or pressuring. Great customer service, and I can't say enough good things about how well we've been treated. I'm pleased to report we've finally made our final selections and are ready to move forward with our project - and that we have now experienced the reasons why Andersen contracting has the stellar reviews they carry here and on other sites. I look forward to reporting back on the finished project and sharing pictures, and I know we're in good hands.
