Lol Anyway, the front desk is sooo nice when I called to make the appt. Which make me feel confident about the appt. The place is clean, and everyone is professional and nice. My massage therapist did a great job. I opted for the combo with massage and scrub. What's really cool is that they actually have a shower for you to use after your body scrub!!! And you also get to pick salt or sugar scrub. I chose sugar. Although the scrub was just OK. (The next time if I come back, I will only do the massage) the shower after wards was AMAZING. They provide robes, slippers and hair ties. So you can have a great shower. Overall, I had a good massage. But I don't feel that I would want to pay close to $200 for it again.

For my husband - she had her phone going off the entire time, left multiple times in between and was more rubbing his body instead of massaging. For myself- she told me she didn't know how to massage because her hands were too tiny and her solution was to use the hot stones and jab them into my body. There was no form whatsoever. Even after this experience, we tipped 15 percent and they questioned if the tip was only for one person. Do not waste your time and money here.

Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. And during the actual massage, there was no such thing as deep tissue or knowing exactly which one of the massages was being received. We went on Valentine's Day before they closed was being tickled the whole time instead of actually getting a massage. I left more tense than I went in. As well as we were only going for a massage and the masseuse assumed that because she asked for the tip upfront and because we were coming together, the tip was gonna be split between the two of us. She made the assumption that we wanted something more than just a massage. Which is 100% false as we are not interested in what she was providing. I would love to get a full refund for that experience because it actually made me feel more uncomfortable than anything, especially from a massage parlor that clarifies that they have the rules inside of the rooms that informed all the patrons that the massage therapist there only do massages. I chose the combo (30 min back and 30 foot) for $45!!! that's a real steal. It was an hour long and worth every minute. I also got hot stones and hot towels during my massage. I had my first massage with the amazing Miss Kim a couple of days ago…read more I am so grateful she was able to fit me in her schedule. I came to see her a few days after Memorial Day, after a particularly stressful and distressing week. I also had stiffness and pain from sitting/sleeping in bad positions. Thus, I chose the 90 Minutes Massage. I'm SO glad I did. First, I appreciate the organized and succinct website. ALL important information is there, including Name, Phone, Address, Experience, Types of Massages, Pricing, and Acceptable Forms of Payment. I don't like digging around for that information, and it made booking my appoint easier. Second, Kim is a sole proprietor (as a previous reviewer mentions). I prefer small boutique spas and massages from independent masseuses. I always felt rushed the few times I attended a chain massage spa, but Kim gives you the FULL time for your massage. The room is very clean, with fresh linens, and no clutter. Kim is very warm and friendly. She obviously enjoys what she does, helping people feel better. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Third, the massage room has wonderful ambience. I love purple, so I was thrilled to see purple lights, and purple touches everywhere. The music is also very relaxing, not too loud or too soft. I think Kim is also blessed with a soothing voice, so that helps the overall mood, too. :-) And last, the 90 Minute Massage is one of the best I've had in a long time. What I like about Kim, is that she customizes her massage using various techniques. I felt her switch techniques when she came across a particularly large knot. Most importantly, she listens to you, if you need her to go deeper or harder, or stop if you feel any pain. I woke up with a little soreness, but no pain at all. The 90 Minute Massage includes Stretching. As someone who has done physical therapy for my knee, the Stretching really helped loosen tightness all over, especially my Achilles heels, hips, and IT band. I also want to mention that I have very sensitive skin, and I did not have any adverse reaction to the massage oil used. I almost cried in relief, when my massage was over. While it takes more than one session to get rid of all the knots, I feel normal again. I can't thank Kim enough. I highly recommend the 90 Minutes Massage for the Stretching alone.
