Super welcoming, they don't see race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or even class distinctions. I feel happy sending money here. They're helpful and never condescending. There are many times the employees could have judged my husband and I, and in my experience, other stores would have judged and gave us the stink eye, but not once have I felt that I don't belong there or that my money isn't appreciated. 5/5 service and prices. Fair return rules and there is almost always a sale going on. You can actually return a faulty cart with a receipt and they won't give you any attitude. The selection is great;however, their best products tend to be flower and they have an awesome preroll section. They have a fair amount of edibles and a varied drink selection. Cartridge selection is pretty nice and prices vary, but the most affordable cart is around $18 (Jan 2024 prices). They also give money to a few charities in the area, one being the local food bank, which is always awesome.

I tend to get the same thing every time I purchase (super cheap btw) but every time, no matter who is working, I am greeted with a smiling face and "hey how's it going"! When I go into other dispensaries sometimes I feel as though I'm doing something "wrong" just by being there but this store makes me feel so comfortable to ask questions, talk about my day, ask about theirs. Plus it's a locally owned small business!! PS: if you would like to try some delicious BBQ, there seems to always be a food truck open around noon on the weekends! I went one time and the owner seems to be running it with his wife. Either way it's a great community over in that little pebble-covered complex.

The ladies of this store were professional and called 911 immediately without hesitation. But the real HERO of the night is actually the closing Shift Security guard! He saved my life when the thief came back trying to stab me with the same screw driver he used to break into our cars. The security guard was quick thinking and vigilant and acted without fail and pepper sprayed the moron before he could do any harm to me and others. And soon after he was arrested. Stopped in here for a quick pick up before hanging out and it was the closest dispensary…read more It shares a dirt parking lot with what looks like a landscaping business of some kind so it can be a bit confusing. Going inside is a bit confusing, it's like a clinic or something which I'm not sure how I feel about, not like any pot shop I've been to even in sketchy areas. The door is locked and there is a glass service window that you slide your ID under for it to be checked. The problem started as there wasn't anyone at the window. Now I'm standing in a waiting room trying the door and after a minute the guy comes to the window checks my ID then buzzes me in. It's not like it was busy and I assume I'm being filmed do they can see me, and there were two staff, what's the hold up? Even leaving it was a bit confusing, you don't go out the door you came in and they didn't say anything. Beyond this, the shop is like the typical pot shop. The staff here were alright, didn't come off as particularly knowledgeable but helpful enough. Picked up a pack of Indica California Raisins. They hit decent but the overall vibe here is bleh, so I'd skip.

One I time I was in there? Some lady came in, thinking she was the Queen of France or something? She thought she was entitled to things because she had a medical card. They kept telling her, "it's legal now, you don't need it!" she said "stop arguing with me! I wan to speak to your maanger, this instant!" (she was one of those types) She held up the line for quite sometime making a lot of noise and a lot of no sense. she kept saying, stop arguing with me! and the manager guy goes, "I promise you I'm not." and the lady goes. "see?" at this point the line started to really build up. As she proceeded to lie on the ground and tantrum about how her medical card gives her, basically free. weed. They suggested she make an appointment come back later, so she could have the one on one and all the time she needs? So the people behind her, could be taken care of. She FREAKS! "An appointment!? an appointmen!? you never said that?" and manager guy goes, "I jus-i just did? what?" and she goes "Stop Arguing with me!!" she then stormed out and promised she'd leave a bad review on yelp! i don't know if she ever did or not? but if you read a negative review about this place? well? if you are also a regular here? Then i dont need to tell you that we live in a world now where people just lie, our President lies like his life depends on it? But we all know better? just like we do with this crazy lady.

I asked about getting a…read moremedical card and was given all the things I needed to do - go to a website, pay a fee, have an interview by an MD, follow the instructions, and receive the form from them giving me authorization. And after I received the form, I was told at Higher Leaf, to just bring it in Monday, Wednesday, or Friday 12 to 3. So getting the form worked pretty well, but then when I brought it in to Higher Leaf at 12:00 am on a Monday, they said I needed an appointment. I said " they didn't tell me that" and that I was just to bring the form in M-W-F 12 to 3. They wanted to argue and argue, even the manager just wants to argue and argue and do everything they can to be absolutely unhelpful without giving any suggestions. Horrible customer service. Don't go to this place because if they can't get the Medical card process right, they surely can't get being a reliable supplier right either. I'm convinced that a pretty woman would have gotten in-like-Flint. Avoid Higher Leaf in Kirkland - horrible horrible customer service.
