This is my fave dispensary, partly because of its location, but mostly because of the stellar bud-tenders. Today I had the most beautiful interaction with Athena... she was so happy and friendly, I could've spent my whole day just chatting with her. Folks like her make me come back time and time again. If anyone has ever felt overwhelmed and uneducated when in a dispensary, I'd highly recommend this Uncle Ike's location and especially bud-tenders like Athena. They make everything better! read more

Thanks to Athena at Lake City! Professional, nice, great service! Knows how to take care of older folks!

Easily the most friendly place in the area, Stacey was very kind and so much help !! Will definitely be my go to spot going forward

Shout out to Alex! This dispensary is the best! I love by and always go here. 5 stars for uncle Ike's lake city!

The manager, Dominique made an extra effort to sort out how my phone numbers had been mixed up and I didn't lose any points for the last two years of buying through the app that is really above and beyond what most businesses would do they are always fast, efficient, and anytime something isn't in stock from online. They have multiple choices ready for me at the counter. read more

Want to give everyone a heads-up that they don't honor their online presales--I placed an order in the morning for two cartridges at the price of $31.50 per unit--I took a screenshot for proof, as I have had issues at this location before not honoring their sale prices. When I go to pick them up, the budtender let me know that was a timed sale and since I didn't pick it up in time, they have to charge me full price. Nowhere on their website does it state that it's a timed sale. See ss for proof. Then when I ask if they price match, as the dispensary next store consistently charges lower prices, the manager has stepped out so they're not able to do that either. It's not the worst thing to happen to a person, but it felt scammy, and reminded me that it's always better to purchase from the smaller, more local dispensaries rather than the big chains like Uncle Ike's. Shout-out to Herbn Elements across the street whose prices are consistently cheaper. Up until now I've always had a decent if not amazing experience here, hence the two stars instead of one. But I won't be returning anytime soon, if ever. So long and thanks for all the fish! read more

I've been a customer at Lake City Ike's for a few years now. The staff is prompt and informative. They always know what is on special. The selection they have is one of the best I've seen. It's worth the drive out of my 'hood to shop with them. Dominic was very helpful today with attentiveness and knowledge. I usually visit once a month to stock up on my stash and the value, service and selection make it worthwhile! Thanks Uncle Ike's team! read more

I love this dispensary! The vibe is always chill with the best music and the friendliest employees. Athena at LC is one of my favourite budtenders. She always leaves me feeling good about myself and turns my day around. Also if you ever need nail inspiration she has great taste. This staff keeps me coming back. Honestly, there are about 4 dispensaries within a mile of me. read more

Thus is the Uncle Ike's location I have used the most frequently as it is the closest to my house. Some positives to Uncle Ike's are: morning happy hour from 8-10, larger sales tend to be good deals, and it's easy to order online. Some negatives are: they tend to have higher than average pricing that they then run a sale on so you aren't really saving money comparatively, staff can be hit or miss as far as knowledge and friendliness. They do have a huge selection which is super convenient and they rarely are out of things when I preorder them unlike some other shops. read more

If you go to the Lake City location, do yourself a huge favor and look for Athena. She helped me out and she is hands-down one of the best budtenders I've ever encountered. Athena is super helpful, incredibly kind, and highly communicative. I came in on a Friday afternoon for a disposable but left feeling pretty uncomfortable. When it was my turn to step up to the counter, I smiled at the budtender and said "Hey, how are you?" and he just blankly stared back at me without responding. Once it became clear he was being antagonistic, I stopped waiting for a response and just told him the brand of disposable I wanted. He asked if I wanted indica, sativa, or hybrid and once I told him hybrid, he chose a random one off the wall without giving me the strain name. All I knew was it was some kind of hybrid. He immediately scanned it and said "twenty". I was baffled at how rude he was being and not allowing me to choose a strain, instead choosing for me at random. I just paid and left, declining to put the purchase under my phone number or take a receipt due to me wanting to get out of the store ASAP. He didn't say thanks or bye or anything, and I just walked away awkwardly. I don't know why I was treated like this by him as I have had many pleasant interactions with the other staff here before. But one bad apple always ruins the bunch, and this interaction made sure I won't be back again. read more
