B Henry's Quality Electric - We are at Your Service

B Henry's Quality Electric

Update: I had them come out to install an outdoor outlet and fix a couple problems. They showed up…read moreon time and got the work done perfectly in one hour. 5-star experience. ----------------------- I contacted B. Henry's Quality Electric when my solar inverter needed replacement. Even though they didn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

We have had B. Henry's out twice now and will be scheduling a third service in a couple of weeks! I…read morereally appreciate their professionalism when it comes to being upfront about costs. They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. The team is nothing but helpful, and professional. They are community oriented and are always there to help when you have an electrical need. It's nice to have an Electrician that you can trust especially when it gets to be overwhelming not knowing what needs to be fixed. We heard about them from word of mouth, and those people are ABSOLUTELY correct. Thank you Bill and your team... and we will see you again soon!

He shows up on time, explains things clearly, does clean professional work. It's hard to find someone reliable these days, so I definitely appreciate having an electrician I can trust and will keep using.

We couldn't get it to go back on at the panel, so I called Spyrka since we'd used them years ago. It was after hours, so I fully expected to get his voice mail in which I'd simply hope for a call back in the morning! Well quite surprisingly, Scott answered! Whew! I was able to explain things to him right then and there, and he immediately scheduled one of his techs to come by in the morning to help! That person was a brand new employee to Spyrka, named Damian. He was very nice, prompt, polite, knowledgable, professional, respectful of our property, quite educational, as I kept asking him questions, and obviously incredibly helpful! He was able to get the power restored, and replaced a couple old GFI's ( at my request ). He brought me up to speed on our old panel, so I decided it might be a good idea to start getting some quotes on possibly replacing it since our home is farily old. Scott was the first to quote us... and it arrived via email fairly soon afterward. Still need a few more of course, and then we'll decide. In any case, I'm just happy to have a reliable, efficient, extremely experienced, professional, and friendly company to call when we have any electrical needs. Thanks Spyrka!! :-)

APG Electric - Original Zinsco panel needs to be upgraded / changed out.

APG came highly recommended from another electrician I'd known and they were up to the task! They were honest, fair, and always on time. It's getting harder and harder to find reliable contractors in the trades and APG is a shining star. Clean, professional work at honest prices, by people you can trust. Would highly recommend!

I was quoted a $790 permit fee by George from APG Electric. He claimed that the fee covered logistics, site schematics, and electric plans. He mentioned that if I want to cut cost, we could explore pulling the permit myself. Wanting to explore that option- I did my homework and learned that in addition to the $178 permit fee I also need some techinical paperwork to submit. I asked George about possibly getting the technical paperwork from them; he declined. He also mentioned that I am probably better off working with a different installer. Before I even had the chance to respond or discuss further, I got a notification from Qmerit telling me my project has been reassigned. I find this extremely unprofessional. I was simply exploring reasonable ways to lower my cost- something that George himself suggested. Instead of working with me, APG Electric backed out without a warning, leaving me to start over. I added a couple of more stars to acknowledge the effort George put into the project (i.e. load calculations), which didn't go unnoticed; I do believe George approached the work with good intent. I could not bring myself to go above 3 stars as the delay on my project (due to reassignment initiated by APG Electric) has caused quite a bit of added stress. TL;DR: APG Electric assessed my EV charger install through Qmerit and quoted a $790 permit fee. When I explored pulling the permit myself to save money (as they suggested), they reassigned my project without notice. Totally unprofessional and dismissive.
