The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service has been absolutely unacceptable. On July 17, 2026, my car wouldn't start, leaving me stranded in a parking lot. I paid for a tow to the dealership, was denied a loaner vehicle, and didn't get my car back until August 4. I was left without reliable transportation while caring for my baby and trying to manage appointments. On August 27, I brought my car in for its annual inspection. After an hour, I was told everything passed with green checkmarks. Just four days later, on August 31, my car broke down AGAIN. I once again paid for a tow and returned it to the dealership. The dealership initially told me the car was running fine after driving it around the parking lot, yet decided to keep it for further investigation. Since then, I've received vague explanations about replacing parts, with no clear answer about the actual problem. As of October 13, I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAR BACK. Now I'm being told parts may not arrive until November 3, with no guarantee of when I'll get my vehicle back. Throughout this entire ordeal, we've repeatedly been told no loaner vehicles are available. Meanwhile, I'm paying monthly payments and insurance on a car I can't even use. I've also contacted Volkswagen Customer Service, only to be sent in circles without meaningful answers or a resolution. What makes this even more frustrating is that before purchasing the vehicle, I specifically asked about recalls and potential issues. The salesperson confidently assured me that all issues had been fixed the previous year and there was nothing to worry about. I understand that repairs can take time, but months without a vehicle, repeated breakdowns, out-of-pocket towing expenses, and virtually no communication are unacceptable. As a parent, I need to trust that my car is safe and reliable for both me and my child. Instead, I'm left wondering when it will break down again. Volkswagen Perrysburg has delivered the worst dealership experience I've ever had. The lack of transparency, customer support, and accountability is astounding. Customers deserve clear answers, reasonable assistance, and respect--not endless excuses and uncertainty. I would never recommend this dealership or purchase another vehicle from them. One star is more than this experience deserves.

How much were you really paying somebody to sit at a reception desk and answer the phone and send people to the proper department? Even when she transfers you to somebody they don't answer the phone, or you can hear them answer and voices and it hangs up on you. You can no longer leave a message for the service department or sales team. It took me 30 minutes to reach a human to change my appointment in the service department. This is my second car from them, but it will be my last I will look for a new dealership that actually can afford a receptionist to answer the phone. I really didn't think it could go downhill from my first review. The bar was already pretty low, but it managed to be too high for the owners at Charlies Dodge.

He wanted $1,700 so ads could be removed but b/c I said I didn't care about the ads, he took it down to $1,300. He did put a new battery in it the day I bought it. I drive it to take my daughters to school and to take myself to and from work. Nothing extra. On 2/21, I was on my way to work and broke down. Once at work, I looked at it. I'm farily certain it's the clutch. I have not driven this car enough for the clutch to be out in FIVE DAYS. Yes, I know it's a used car, yes, I know I signed a statement that he didn't know the full condition. However, it's been FIVE DAYS. Maybe 8 hours of driving time in that car, and it's already broken down. FIVE DAYS, EIGHT HOURS TOTAL DRIVE TIME and I have no clutch. I'm a semi truck driver and have previously owned manual shift cars. I am well aware of how to drive them. I stopped in to see if he could help me with the repairs. He told me, no, I signed the paper and he would see if he could find a cheaper repair quote than what I had already found. He couldn't. And that was it. That is dishonest and underhanded. If you took pride in your business, you could have offered to pay some of the repairs, or bring it in and do it your self. For me to have the car for less than a week and it be a MAJOR repair. That is an unethical and cutthroat way to run your business.
