For simple service they do an excellent job. Major repairs and diagnostic are weak. Tires/ oil change fine and reasonable pricing.

Ziad, the General Manager, and Melinda were respectful, considerate, empathetic, and fair. They helped make my dreams come true. Melinda from the beginning gave me good advice along the way as she drives a similar Tuscon I purchased--talk about great credibility! In the end, it also didn't hurt that Melinda set me up with a sweet incentive (55" 4K Smart Television), which was nice consideration in today's competitive environment. She went above and beyond to set herself apart and showed me appreciation on becoming a new customer. I truly felt valued and appreciated. The entire team made me feel important and that's the difference. That's my experience. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is that the closing process changed at the last minute but it all worked out. It perhaps could have been communicated a little better up front but it all worked out perhaps for the better--just a little concerned in the beginning. Nevertheless, Melinda and the finance manager reassured me, were patient, understanding, and pleasant to work with. At the end of the day, I had a special order and they were able to get the job done for me--so go see and give Melinda and Taylor of Hyundai in Perrysburg, Ohio an opportunity even if they don't have your exact vehicle in stock they can make things happen! They'll even go pick the car up for you to make things happen quickly. Lastly, Matt Floyd took the time to go over the many features my new 2019 Tuscon Ultimate has. It's a lot and Matt got me up and running. So, if I could add an additional 1/2 star this would make up for the slight delay. All in all, everything worked out well.

We were told repeatedly by James that there were multiple cars ahead of ours and so we were at their mercy as to when the car would be looked at. We called every other day inquiring on the status of our vehicle, most calls went to voicemail and if our call was answered, we were promised a call back, which never happened! The last call we made we were informed the car was fixed, they didn't even have the courtesy to place the call themselves to inform us of its completion! Avoid this dealership like the plague!

The difference between a small car dealership like Hill's Auto Sales versus one of the big dealers…read morejust down the road is that when you step onto the lot of one of those big dealerships, there will almost immediately be some shark sniffing you out, trying to gauge how much commission they might be able to get out of you. They are therefore incentivized to sell you the most expensive car that they can, and of course, to sell as many cars as possible. Most if not all of those dealerships even give their salespeople quotas to reach each month, which makes it more about quantity than quality of service. Hill's Auto, on the other hand, is owned and operated by Jeremy Hill, and his business model is to seek out the best cars that he can find and then do whatever repairs need to be done in order to make them dependable. Then he sells these cars to his customers at the best price that he can. No commissions. No middlemen. That's his name on the sign, and it's his reputation if he started selling people lemons. That's the difference between a salesperson and a small-business owner. Alhough, like most people, I've been conditioned over the years to never set foot on the lot of a used car dealership without being on my guard and skeptical of every claim (especially when it comes to undercoating, which is right up there with blinker fluid), Jeremy Hill has integrity. That's a rare quality in a used car dealer, but it's one that I think will help his business flourish. He sold me a good car at a good price. When the check engine light came on shortly after buying it, he had his mechanic fix it (with a better-than-stock part), simply because this did not fit with his business model of selling dependable used cars at prices that people can actually afford. There was a problem that his mechanics had overlooked, and so he made it right. I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review, but I can now safely recommend Hill's Auto Sales to anyone who might be considering the purchase of a quality used car in the Bowling Green/Toledo area.

He wanted $1,700 so ads could be removed but b/c I said I didn't care about the ads, he took it down to $1,300. He did put a new battery in it the day I bought it. I drive it to take my daughters to school and to take myself to and from work. Nothing extra. On 2/21, I was on my way to work and broke down. Once at work, I looked at it. I'm farily certain it's the clutch. I have not driven this car enough for the clutch to be out in FIVE DAYS. Yes, I know it's a used car, yes, I know I signed a statement that he didn't know the full condition. However, it's been FIVE DAYS. Maybe 8 hours of driving time in that car, and it's already broken down. FIVE DAYS, EIGHT HOURS TOTAL DRIVE TIME and I have no clutch. I'm a semi truck driver and have previously owned manual shift cars. I am well aware of how to drive them. I stopped in to see if he could help me with the repairs. He told me, no, I signed the paper and he would see if he could find a cheaper repair quote than what I had already found. He couldn't. And that was it. That is dishonest and underhanded. If you took pride in your business, you could have offered to pay some of the repairs, or bring it in and do it your self. For me to have the car for less than a week and it be a MAJOR repair. That is an unethical and cutthroat way to run your business.
