I DO NOT RECOMMEND Toledo Auto and Tire !!!!!!!!!!!! I took…read moremy Audi to this shop to have the spark plugs changed before a road trip, and they assured me they could handle the job without hesitation. Unfortunately, about a month later, my car stopped turning over. I took it to another shop to have it diagnosed, and I was shocked to find out that Toledo Auto and Tire shop had installed Chrysler spark plugs in my Audi. That could have potentially caused serious issues if I hadn't caught it when I did. If they didn't have the correct parts, they should have been upfront about it instead of making a substitution without telling me. The work should be done correctly--not just done for the sake of saying it's finished. I would not trust this shop with my vehicle again, not even for something as simple as a tire change. Their prices may be cheap, but in my experience, the quality of the work matched the price. I'd rather pay more at a reputable shop and know the job is being done properly. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this shop. Please do your research and make sure the shop working on your vehicle is using the correct parts and following proper procedures.

About 30 minutes later more workers came in and one of them walked up to me and asked for my key. There was no discussion of what type of oil change (ex. synthetic, etc) or pricing. Approximately 10 minutes later he asked for all my info (name, address, phone#, email) and gave a price-indicating they were finished with the oil change. I asked if the Yelp check-in coupon could be used, but he stated they already changed the oil with all synthetic and the coupon was for half-and-half. I didn't feel he was being rude in any way, I just wish there was more dialog and that I had a choice. Overall, it was a decent straight-no chaser experience.

I live in North Carolina, and I had to find a place quickly on my way back home…read more My mechanic down here gave me a list of places that this place wasn't a part of because of some sort of "network" my mechanic is part of. I decided to go with this place anyway and I am so glad I did. Not only was he able to fix my issue on such a short notice, but Steve personally handled this. For the price: he was less than what AI was telling me other places charge within the area. I never felt like I didn't know the status of my vehicle, I never felt like I was in the dark, and I never felt like I wasn't "family". I have already recommended this place to my family up here, and a lot of friends in the area. Hands-down, Steve's is the best mechanic I've ever had the blessing to run into. Seriously, why would you go anywhere else if you're within the Toledo area? 100 out of 10.

He takes the time to walk through the pros and cons of different approaches, usually with a recommendation, which makes it easy to make informed decisions. What really stands out is that Jerry always puts the customer's best interests first. Recently, he even referred me to another shop that specialized in the type of work I needed because he knew they could do it faster and at a lower cost. That kind of honesty and confidence is rare. The entire team is personable, professional, and clearly committed to great customer service. I always feel confident that I'm getting straightforward advice and quality work. I highly recommend Edge Automotive. The only downside is that, as much as I like Jerry and his team, I hope I don't have to see them too often!
