They were able to get rid of dog hair trapped in places that I wasn't able to get to (and I have all the fancy Miele vacuum heads specific for this kind of detailing.) Leo/his crew messed up my car bad. Not only did they do a generally poor job cleaning, but left so much shampoo in the carpet that I'm not sure I will ever get it out. It was apparent immediately that they hadn't done a good job, and when I showed all the mistakes I got a refund from Leo. But what I realized afterwards when talking to other detailers is that what they did might not be recoverable. So I'll have a sudsy car forever. read more

I really appreciate this business. They are on the pricier side, but I've found going cheaper doesn't get the job done nearly as thoroughly as this place. I'm a Lyft driver, so I NEED my car clean and my light grey upholstery to not come off as dingy, and they nail it every time I've been there. It takes a while to get your car detailed, so get an appointment as early as you can, and bring some work with you so you can stay busy at the near cafe (if you don't, there's not much in walking distance to keep you busy, but you can do laps around the business complex and get your steps in). The staff is also friendly, and I like the added touch that they gather any stuff they find in your car up - they don't leave it there and make you wonder if they cleaned in any specific spot, and they don't throw it away, unless it's super obvious trash like cellophane or an empty Starbucks cup. read more

My husband and I drove our 2008 Nissan Titan Pro 4x4 truck to Colorado during our move from California, so you can imagine how filthy it was. Aside from that, in the 8 years we have owned it, we never had it detailed and figured it was way over due. It was Saturday around 5pm as I was calling auto detailing shops to see if we could drop the truck off for a full detail. Out of the three decent places I found on Yelp, The Works was the only shop that answered. Michael, the owner, was on his way out for the evening, but waited for us to drop off our truck so that we could pick it up Monday after my husband got off work. He was very friendly and honest about what services the truck needed after we told him roughly what we wanted. He gave us a very accurate estimate as to how much it would cost too. When we picked it up Monday evening, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, inside and outside. Michael and his crew were even able to buff out some abrasions on the truck we had on there for years! They steam cleaned the chairs and floor mats which made the inside look a lot better too. My husband has taken pretty good care of our Titan since he bought it in 2008, but The Works made it look practically new! Michael asked us to look it over before we left to make sure it met our standards, as him and his guys did a last inspection too. The money spent was well worth the work done by The Works. We will definitely be bringing our cars back to Michael and his guys from now on to be washed and detailed. So, if you're looking for an honest, get what you pay for, professional auto detailing place, this is the shop for you! This team is spectacular! I inherited my dad's 2015 Subaru. Low mileage, great shape, but my dad was a smoker. The smell inside of the car was rough. Leo was straight up with me - there were several approaches that they could try (as opposed to chemical cover ups that other places offered), but no guarantees. I appreciated his candor and after calling several detail shops, chose to use The Works. I left my car for 5 days, and Leo called every few days to keep me apprised. When I picked the car up, it smelled like new! No putrid smoke smell, no chemical smells or fake deodorants. Just...... CLEAN! AND, the bill was LESS than he had quoted me. This business is top notch, and takes pride in their work. My little blue Subaru was parked with Lambos, Porsches, vintage cars and more gems, but was worked on and treated with the same care and attention to detail. I just moved to Boulder 3 days ago and had my Honda Civic delivered today. It came off the semi looking worse than ever with all kinds of salt and mud and grime on it. The delivery driver told me I had 24 hours to clean it and inspect it for damage. I immediately drove to the nearest gas station, where the car wash was closed due to cold weather and the attendant told me that my best bet was to "find a guy with a hose" to wash it for me. Enter Mike. From the moment I read the ads posted here to the moment we spoke on the phone I felt completely certain that he would not only get my car cleaned at 7 PM on a freezing night in Boulder, but he would understand that my 2008 Honda Civic is important and not just another car to me. He took the time to wash the car by hand and helped me inspect it for damage done on the trip to Boulder. We then spent 20 minutes discussing what various detail packages could do for the car's looks and longevity. Mike made me feel informed and capable of choosing the best option for my budget and needs (after all, it is a Honda Civic, not a Ferrari) and I am sure that I'll be bringing the car back to him as soon as I can realistically do so.
