My wife bought a 3-year-old car in beautiful dark blue metallic that was unfortunately tainted with car-wash abrasions over much of the hood. We wanted film protection but weren't sure about our options given the impaired paint. After measuring the paint thickness (unfortunately thin as apparently common for Mazda), Shawn recommended not buffing out the paint and explained how the film would hide most of the visible damage. I had a new Tesla which needed front window tint, and protective wrap on the front end. He did a great job of this, and for free applied the Tesla's model Y paint protective film (which I had bought) in the rear, and patched a very tiny paint chip in the rear spoiler with the paint repair kit I purchased from Tesla. 10/29/2022 - This review is based on an experience where only a vehicle assessment and a quote were received. I called Blue Sky on a Saturday morning at ~8AM, realized they were closed, and hung up after several rings. The owner, Shawn, called me back within a few minutes and made himself available to look over my vehicle despite the shop being closed. Lucky break for me. I headed over and entered the business park where they're located. I walked in, noted that the shop was clean, organized, and well lit and a moment later Shawn came to the front office from the installation area. Shawn was professional, listened to my questions, provided me feedback and walked through his responses to make sure I understood well, and he took 20 minutes on his off-day to meet with what would be a first-time customer before 9AM. He made it clear his goal was to deliver quality work the first time, there was no pressure to sell/upsell, and the interaction easy. Blue Sky is a "we do tint and paint protection film (PPF)" shop, not a "we do everything" shop. I think that's an important leading indicator to consider when looking at who to select when quality is your goal. I'd recommend having a discussion with Blue Sky before making a decision on your tint or paint protection film provider, it's a much bigger headache and more expense to fix things or do them twice. read more

They were very responsive... and, I had a melanoma on my left arm and only wanted one window, the drivers side, tinted. They had a tint that does not show, so that window does not look different from the others, but protects my arm from UV rays and heat. Recently got a new truck and being new to Colorado I'm still learning the weather patterns out here. So after a few months of driving with excessive windows glare and heat I had enough and decided to checkout tinting places. I shopped around and came across these guys. I initially emailed them and the woman I spoke to was very helpful and honestly one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever dealt with over the phone when talking to someone on initial contact. I came by and talked to the owner Shawn and worked out the details. You can tell when you meet him he cares about the customer and it shows by the way he runs his business. Overall I went with the mid grade option and am happy with my purchase. I did have a minor issue post install but Shawn stood by his product and was able to remediate it quickly and professionally. I brought my Rav4 here to get detailed since it was in rough shape after moving here with a car full of cats and plants, and my car came out of it looking brand new. I spent a lot of time researching paint protection films and shops that installed them. Blue sky tint was one of the only shops in the area that actually installed 3M products versus just being a 3M certified installer. After speaking with them I ended up getting full body paint protection, ceramic coating on the hard top and exterior plastics, and tint on the front two windows of my new Ford Bronco. The process couldn't have been easier - they are great at communicating and very knowledgeable on their products. When I dropped my car off, Shawn (the owner) took time to walk around the entire vehicle with me, go over what was and wasn't possible with the paint protection film on every part of the car, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. When I picked the car up I was amazed. They did such a fantastic job installing everything that it was hard to tell it was even there.
