I have bought lots of steaks and tried almost every place in Concord. This was the best far and away.

For a simple, tasty, timely and nutritious lunch, can't go wrong at this locale…read more Came here while shopping in the area. The place is ample, clean and modern. The staff was friendly and polite, younger folk who were very conscientious. Nice to deal with them. My tuna salad mini was superb. Definitely fresh. Nice place overall. Will be back.

A few months ago, I came into this Jersey Mike's to order a kids meal and asked if I could…read moresubstitute the bottled water for a fountain drink in a kids cup, which every other Jersey Mike's I've been to has done without any issue. Instead of simply explaining the policy, the employee helping me, Gavin, raised his voice at me, yelled that I "didn't know what I was talking about," and insisted they had never done that before. The interaction was so unpleasant that I avoided this location for the next 3-4 months and drove to another Jersey Mike's instead. I recently came back because this location was much more convenient, and I had a completely different experience. The woman with the colorful curly hair was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating. She even explained to the employees that, yes, the substitution could be done. It was validating to know I hadn't been mistaken all along. On top of that, I watched her handle a huge rush of customers. She stayed calm, worked quickly, treated everyone with kindness, and kept everything moving efficiently. She is exactly the kind of employee every business hopes to have and truly deserves recognition and a raise. I hope management recognizes the difference one great employee can make. She completely turned my opinion of this location around.

It's made from…read moreBeef raised without antibiotics, all natural ingredients, gluten free. However to me it is very small. Also this is made with corn, generally as I recall it was made with peas. I think there's actually more food content in various pot pies. Shepherds Pie originated somewhere between England, Ireland and Scotland a few hundred years ago. There are a few different versions of it. Some is made with lamb, some beef, and I've also heard pork. My family originated in England. The Shepherds Pie I had through the years was made with beef, peas and mashed potatoes on top. Simmer the beef, then warm the peas in hot water slightly, whipped mash potatoes on top, then bake. It's one of my all time favorite dishes. I've been known to get the iron skillet out once and awhile and put on a kitchen performance, LOL. Blake's was tasty, but small, non-filling.

I'm a bit of a pot pie snob, this is without a doubt the worst I've ever had, a tiny little bowl of…read moreveggies with a nasty gravy, and only pie crust was a cap on top, I'm sorry but that is not a pie, the veggies and gravy should be enveloped in an entire pie crust.
