Kylee was our server. She was friendly and helpful. I've been seeing great advertising on fb to come down , grab slush drinks, eat well and great deals and live bands available, so I rushed down to get all the treatment advertised. In my opinion my visit was lackluster. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the singer guy was good. Seating was plentiful and I loved the property in its entirety. Private parking in this area is always a plus as well. My problems arise when it's time to order . The fruity, flavorful slushies that I actually came for were not available on this day due to weather and not wanting to basically start up the machines since they weren't expecting a big crowd. Ummmm ok. Next I asked for flight options and basically they only have a house flight collection of dry, sweet, rose and semi dry. No optional choice selection available. Ummmmmm ok. Next no happy hour pricing on this day as well I'm told . Ummmmm ok . Lastly I wanted a pretzel with cheese . This pretzel was hard in areas, soggy in areas and underwhelming. Ok so my overall opinion is I love the theme advertising and the ambiance of the property but if items are on your menu to sell it should be available whenever you are open for business. Most people don't like the big crowds and long lines. I prefer weekdays for the calm and casual atmosphere. You're a wine garden as well so flight options of your wines should be available for purchase, not just the basic house that is not appealing, but a sweet flight, dry flight or mix would be good as well. Happy hour times should definitely be an option and food sales as well. I don't want to give up on this Garden since it's close but hopefully next time I come it will be a better experience. Until next time!

How are you doing the Cinco de Mayo dinner cruise which was from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Upon entering, it was very professionally set up they took your name at the door and as soon as you walked in was the bar which was very convenient so you can get your drink before you sit. The two bartenders said they were fairly new, but I cannot tell they held it down all night. Drinks were on point and they were getting the line down really fast no matter how long it got. Drinks were also very reasonably priced. I don't think I paid over five dollars for any drink. As for the food, the cruise included a unlimited taco bar, which was very good. The chips were very fresh and the meat was very well seasoned. I love that they include fresh guac and fresh sour cream, which I think is the perfect addition to any taco bar! They get 5 stars from me!!

Disappointing Experience and Poor Coordination Our…read moreexperience with Renaissance Wine Garden was deeply disappointing. John and Simeen Cook, the owners, do not seem to communicate with each other, and that lack of coordination falls directly onto couples trying to plan their wedding. John made several promises during the tour, only to disappear afterward, and Simeen seemed unaware of everything he had committed to. Instead of working as a team, they left us feeling like their only priority was themselves, not the couple or the event. For the price, you receive nothing beyond access to the space. There is no help with setup, decorating, or teardown. Every small detail--neon signs, firepit, draping--comes with an additional charge. Access to the venue is extremely limited: ceremony site and suites at 3pm, reception area not until 6pm, and guests cannot enter until 6:30pm. By the time dinner, cake, and toasts are done, you're left with barely two hours of dancing before everything must end at 10pm, despite the contract stating 11pm. The final hour is reserved for you to clean up because the venue provides no assistance. We were even told we could access the reception area slightly early, but only if it didn't "look like setting up," because customers were present. It was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, even though we were paying to be there. The bar was another point of confusion--Simeen couldn't clearly explain how it worked. They also advertise onsite catering for groups under 75, yet discouraged us from using it and pushed us toward outside catering instead. Overall, this venue forces couples to hire additional help for everything, driving costs far beyond what most budgets allow. The lack of flexibility, support, and professionalism caused unnecessary stress and anxiety for both the bride and her mother. I cannot recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. Due to all the additional stress my daughter had to go find another venue and I have not received any of my deposit back as of yet. The wedding event was 5 months from the date of cancellation.

They had promoted "kids galore activities," but in reality, there were very few. We waited over an hour in line for face painting, only to miss out on the character drawings because the line was already cut off by the time we finished. The bounce houses were advertised as "tons," but there were only two--and they were unsafe. Despite the sign saying "adult supervision required," there were no adults monitoring, and kids were jumping on top of the bounce houses and hurting others. I had to call security multiple times, and nothing was done. I even found myself stepping in to help because children were leaving in tears. There were no tables to sit at, even though there were many food trucks, and very few kid-friendly activities beyond the long lines. The hot air balloon "walk-through" never happened--there was only one balloon set up, and the rest didn't even start unloading until after 7. Overall, the event was poorly organized, unsafe, and very misleading compared to how it was advertised. Very disappointed with this experience.

Totally blew me away…read more I moved back to the area almost three years ago, but had not come to WPW. Then recently, I found out that my 50th class reunion was going to be held there. Hearing that news, I knew it was time to come and check it out. When I arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday, I was shocked how large the venue was and how full the parking lot was. I quickly realized, Wild Pickens Winery is a hot spot and the place to be seen on weekends. They have a fairly extensive wine menu, it was larger then what I was expecting. I enjoyed two glasses of Cabernet and was impressed with its robust flavor. When my server told me, all glasses of wine were $7, my frugal personality smiled. To my surprise they had an extensive menu. I was expecting a very simple menu of only a few items, but they had it all. Their menu had entrees, burgers and wood fired pizzas. I had eaten brunch earlier so I wasn't that hungry, but wanted to try something. I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms and they hit the spot. They were stuffed with spinach, cream cheese and parmesan. The order came with three good sized mushrooms, so it would be perfect for one or sharing. They had a band playing in the main room inside and the music was super loud. Friends that I ran into there, told me in good weather the band is outside and makes for a more enjoyable listening experience. The loud music is why they only got a 4 Star rating. The service was small town, down home country friendly. WPW is only open Thursday thru Sunday and I'll definitely be back. I gotta come back and try one of their wood fired pizzas.

We were immediately greeted by the owner, Todd, who was behind the bar servicing customers. He took the time to thank all of us for coming in and shook each of our hands. Todd, separated us from the dry wine drinkers to the sweet wine drinkers, sharing with us his top recommendations for each category. Unanimously! We all enjoyed the blueberry wine the most. We all literally bought a bottle! LOL. Todd had to leave us for other duties, but left us in the care of his staff. These ladies were great and fun. After our wine tasting, we sat to order food. We ordered the meat lovers and the loaded baked potato pizza and a few side salads to share. Never thought of a baked potato as a pizza, but this was sooo good!! The food in general was delicious, fresh, and made to order. The winery itself was super cute. The outside seating area was packed with folks, rocking out to some live music. The inside seating area was surprisingly very large. A large dining space with a separate event space and video gaming area. Thank you Todd for welcoming us and thanks to your team for helping to make our experience enjoyable. We look forward to visiting you all again!

I sat at the bar for dinner and waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. What made it worse was that the bartender immediately acknowledged a white man standing right next to me (we had even been talking about seating together). He took his drink and food order while I was handed only a glass of water and then ignored while he continued serving others. Even after finally taking my drink and appetizer order, the service remained inconsistent and dismissive. The bartender served multiple other guests--including a couple seated next to me--getting them waters, wine, and food orders, while I was still waiting. My appetizer was eventually dropped off with no silverware or napkin, and I had to ask another bartender just to be able to eat. At that point, I was still waiting on a drink I had ordered 20 minutes earlier. Eventually, a female bartender stepped in and brought my drink, but the overall experience had already gone downhill. The original bartender gave a quick apology, but the damage was done. Later, when I returned with my girlfriend after i advised we were going to do our wine tasting for dinner, the experience somehow got worse. The same bartender (Jamie S) gave my white friend a menu, water, and service--but did not offer me the same until my friend had to point it out. We were then ignored again for about 10 minutes until my friend had to call someone over because we were ready to order. When my food arrived, it was completely unacceptable. The chicken burger was extremely thin--practically see-through--and the fries were cold. When I spoke to a manager, instead of taking accountability, he made excuses, saying it was a "life balance" burger (which I did NOT order), and then blamed the kitchen for only having smaller patties available, said they forgot to make the 8 ounce ones. None of that changes the fact that I did not receive what I ordered. Although they remade the food, the overall experience was already ruined and it was still not what i wanted. Throughout all of this, Jamie never came back to check on us or acknowledge the situation. What made this even more disappointing is that I am a wine club member and regularly visit the Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant location in Town and Country, where I am consistently treated with respect and great service. This experience in St. Peters was the complete opposite. I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience felt not only poorly managed but also dismissive and uncomfortable. My friend even commented that I was not exaggerating about how I was being treated. I will never return to the St. Peters location and will continue to share this experience. This is not the level of service anyone should have to tolerate. I will continue to ride pass this location to go further to the Town and Country location.
