We stopped in unexpectedly and not planned and I am glad that we did. The food is good and the drinks are even better! The staff were incredibly nice and we are nerds, so they took the time out to chat with us. The whole vibe of this place is perfection. It is not big but it is so cozy and perfect.

Fun time overall. Came here with a few buddies for a bachelor outing, and the vibes were great. Tried some mead and moonshine, and the bartender hooked us up with drink recommendations, a few free samples, and great conversation. The food is frozen, but still tasty, and the cheaper price reflects that. I'd definitely come back.

Brett was great and super nice. Had a couple of beers and some Sunday happy hour pretzels. My only complaint was I thought the temp of the beer was too warm for the type of beers we had. But otherwise would recommend. Meads, cocktails and beers, something for everyone! Little place in a strip mall, but still with some character.

I love this place. I've never had mead before going here but it was highly enjoyable and Nathan is friendly, open, and a savant on the brewing/distilling process. He also has some incredibly good bourbon for sale that he has distilled. It is a very communal, friendly atmosphere and a place to easily have conversation with others exploring the menu just as you are. If you are interested in mead/local brewers/local distillers, don't miss this place. You'll be happy you went.

The location is unexpected but don't let the outside fool you. Go inside and you will be greeted by the very friendly and knowledgeable owner. They offer a large variety of mead and some really great cocktails. The inside is semi-dark with a low-key, slight speak easy feel. And of course the drinks are amazing! Very impressed and plan on coming back to try some more cocktails.

In my opinion, it's hands down the best winery in the region, and what makes it special goes well beyond the wine. The experience starts with a tasting, and Stone Hill does it right. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, the tastings are top notch, and the wines speak for themselves. Their sparkling wines, Norton, and Chardonel are among my absolute favorites. The grounds are beautiful, with incredible photo opportunities around every corner. And if you're lucky enough to visit during an event, the live music is some of the best you'll find in Hermann. But one of my favorite experiences at Stone Hill takes you beneath the winery. The guided tours of the historic cellars are truly something special. There's so much history in those underground passages, and the guides are experts at bringing it all to life. It's an experience unlike anything else in the area. The nearby museum is another must-see and adds even more appreciation for the history behind this remarkable place. And then there's dinner. A visit to Stone Hill simply isn't complete without a meal at Vintage 1847 Restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is phenomenal, and the steak is easily my favorite in Hermann. It's the perfect way to end a day of exploring. In fact, I've pretty much figured out my perfect Hermann itinerary. Start with a wine tasting, spend some time exploring the museum, take a guided tour through those incredible cellars, and finish the evening with an unforgettable dinner at Vintage 1847. Throw in some live music and a few great photos along the way, and it doesn't get much better than that. Hermann is full of wonderful experiences, and you could easily spend days discovering everything the town has to offer. But if there's one place I would tell absolutely everyone to visit, it's Stone Hill Winery. There are plenty of reasons to visit Hermann. Stone Hill is one of the biggest reasons to keep coming back.

Jill was over my wine tasting, she was friendly and knowledgeable of the wines I chose. I purchased a gold Moscato. This was not in the wine tasting but you can't go wrong with a Moscato in my opinion. During Harvest season you can stomp the grapes with your feet. I hate I missed that but I will definitely return next yr to partake in that excursion. Plenty of picturesque moments. I absolutely enjoyed this winery and look forward to returning.

She directed us to the door and we were greeted by two more people. Luckily we had reservations as every table had a personalized reserve sign including our time and number in party. When making our reservation we were given the choice of the music room or some other room. We chose the back of the music room and it was perfect. There are five tables and we could see and hear the two musicians. We ordered chicken salad, tuna melt and cucumber salad. We also had a small dish of fresh fruit. We were in no hurry and our food was delivered at just the right time. The wait staff are mature women and seem to love their job. The Old House is charming and we were encouraged to tour the house on our own. As a result, I plan to bring my friends for the holidays.

We chose a table in the room which was ultimately the music room. We each ordered wine from a very nice server and then perused the lunch menu. We were served our beverages within 15 minutes. My partner ordered the Tuna Melt sandwich. I ordered the Chicken Salad sandwich. The restaurant gives the kitchen enough time to customers to finish the first glass before your food order arrives. That's okay, the restaurant caters to casual lunch customers.

Food is not on the menu but cocktails and wine and beer is. Not a lot of options but it's still available so I'll take it. Nathan was our server and he was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We tried sitting outside but when that wasn't working he quickly found us an available seat indoors to make us comfortable. We ordered for appetizers the cowgirl dinner flight which consisted of truffle fries, Mac and cheese and Caesar salad and one drink (raspberry lemon drop) this appetizer can feed two ppl easily! Smoked buffalo wings seasoned to perfection as well. Also a caramel apple cider was ordered , great flavors that blended perfectly. This campus has plenty of direction to venture in. The sliders are a must-order and were one of the highlights of the meal. I do have two suggestions that would easily make this one of my regular spots. First, use a fresh shot of real espresso in the espresso martinis. Second, upgrade to freshly stuffed blue cheese olives for the martinis instead of the soggy jarred ones. Those two small changes would make both drinks well worth the price tag and definitely have me coming back for them. Make sure to request Levi as your server. He is so much fun and will definitely enhance your experience. Overall, we had a great experience with excellent food, and I look forward to coming back!
