Plenty of parking behind the building. The accessible entrance is in the front.

This is such a great place for an evening out. It's a smallish space so reservations are recommended. I was greeted warmly as I entered the establishment. I was fortunate enough to go on a night that they had an Italian winery rep visiting and offering free tastings. I learned so much about wine in one night! Matt was a wonderful host. I was pleasantly surprised how affordable the wine selections were, and the level of expertise by the staff. My favorite part of the evening was trying some amazing cheese that I probably would not have been exposed to otherwise. Sign up for their emails to keep up-to-date on upcoming events.

My husband and I had a date night and we wanted something light for dinner. I've heard of this place before but never been so we decided to try it out. It's a small quaint shop. They have a few tables and bar. The ladies that helped us were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm not much of a wine drinker but "When in Rome". My husband ordered a beer I ordered a Riesling and needless to say I brought home a bottle of it. We shared the Cork and Rind charcuterie board and added another cheese. Great little date night.

Don't miss this hidden gem of a wine tasting and gathering place in St Charles! The Service is amazing and they even have a lovely room to rent for medium sized gatherings. It would surprise you that they a mini deli inside and an array of wine to choose from. A must see in St Charles, Missouri or call them and order some Missouri wine!

Two kinds of meat, two kinds of cheese bites, two kinds of olives, with dried figs and apricots!

We ordered a build your own charcuterie board for our small New Years Eve family gathering. See pics! The board was ready for pickup on time! This convenience was just what St. Charles needed!

10/10 would get drunk again. Srsly tho, this place is the bomb dot com blackslash yo mom. My home away from home. Booze lovers' paradise!! Quaint yet tidy little nook on first capitol that sells mostly wine, but also has a selection of hard liquor/spirits, and some craft beers. Periodically has specialty tastings e.g. recently had Gin Girl Natasha over to do a (free!) gin tasting. Every Saturday, there's fresh bread for sale and let me tell you, this bread is killer. They only have it Saturdays though, so get you some!! The rosemary/herb bread is my flavorite. Really love the overall vibe of this place and best of all - the staff are SUPER friendly, knowledgeable, and sweet. Had only been my 2nd or 3rd time in, and they remembered my name. St. Charles really needs more places like this. I am tired of all the damn nic nac shops on Main Street, need moar booze shops, yo! But I like that this is off main because less crazy drivers and my car doesn't ride like a shopping cart on 1st capitol, lol. They DO have a small parking lot, btw. And don't accidentally park in the lot beside it (not referring to Crooked Tree) I mean the private lot, because I went over there once by accident, and some legit cray dude came running out screaming at me. (awkward.) I think he would benefit from walking over to C&R and gettin' him some booze to take the edge off. ^__~ I plan to sign up for one of their tasting classes eventually. This uncouth alchie would like to learn more about the booze I so dearly enjoy. That said, no one who works here is snobby by any means!! You will feel welcome when you come in, no matter who you are. Don't know the diff between pinot noir or pinot grigio? NO WORRIES. They don't GAF if you aren't up on your wine nomenclature, and they will be glad to answer any questions/explain the winemaking process/etc. I like store staff that isn't pushy, snobby, or rude, so that is why I like C&R. They sell a lotta high end wines but there's also the "bargain rack" aka the place I make a beeline for. ;) Good to know you can swing by here and pick up some uber high-end shit, or grab a quick-n-affordable-yet-awesome bottle for $10 or less... !! Oh did I mention they have delectable cheeses and meats behind their deli counter? Hell yes, this place even has a deli counter. So I basically don't have to go to Schnucks anymore....! Now, if only they sold yarn & chocolate. Mmmm. dangerous, bahaha!!! Srsly, go in there and tell them the alcoholic who lives down the street sentcha!! Us winos gotta look out for one another. They also sell decanters, bottle openers, &c. Alcohol & alcohol accessories. LOL. PS: Closed on Mondays, so stock up Sunday so you won't be experiencing withdrawal symptoms on Monday!! :-P Only wish they had a little patio area or something where ppl can sit and drink and eat cheese and knit. Err. Yeah. But that's probably a separate license or some crap. IDK. I am not a business owner, it sounds like a lot of work, so massive kudos to these wonderfully kind and intelligent folks!!

This is such a wonderful place! If you need a sandwich..get it there if you need amazing ham salad…read more(and other deli items )...get it there. If you want the steak soup they serve in Annie Gunns....and I highly recommend it...get it there. And FRESH FISH. Amazing fresh fish. Also highly recommend the smoked shrimp, trout and the crab cakes. I could go on and on...so much goodness in there. The ambiance is a bit snug in there and it might be a bit overwhelming with all the amazing products, but so worth it. Take your time and stroll through. Service can be a bit tricky. Sometimes you need to wait in line at the beginning of the deli area but if want meat of fish you need to wait in that area.. But they are always running at full speed

The Smokehouse Market is the place to find the best selection of all things delicious meats,…read morecheeses, and so many other yummy items to send your taste buds places they have never been before. You feel like you're walking into the most cozy little grocery store where everyone working is ready and willing to help you in any way they can. While you wait for your made-to-order sandwich, shop around for cheeses, sauces, breads, meats, honey, sweet treats, pickles, and so much more. My BBQ pulled pork sandwich was delicious and so was the turkey reuben sandwich too. They had too many yummy sides to pick from, but the pasta salad and broccoli salad I tried first were so good. I cannot wait to go back so I can keep trying all of the delicious options they serve up.
