Houston Window Experts exceeded my expectations. I was dreading having to find a window company that I could trust. Everyone I spoke to was kind and friendly. Wasn't pushy, didn't send me 5 text/emails a day or call me every hour. Josh was friendly and very knowledgeable. Even told me he wasn't 100% the issue I was having was necessarily a window issue and advised me to look into other issues that might be the cause of my leaky windows. I was surprised and appreciative of his honesty. After weeks/months of meeting with different contractors re: my leaky windows. I found out that it was a combination of issues and replacing the window would help. Scheduled a window install, crew arrived early. They were courteous and covered my floor and furniture. They worked throughout the morning. The new window is so crystal clear you can't even tell I have a window! Left the inside of the house clean. You really get what you pay for. The quality of the windows and the people who work for The Houston Window Experts are really well worth every dollar and more. read more

Great service, reliable, fair prices. From the start with Josh in sales to the delivery and the customer service with Sara, everything went as promise. And when things had to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances they were super professional. We knew we were paying more than with classic subcontracted crews but the experience we got in return was definitely worth it. We have already recommend them to our friends across the street who had to go through a similar project. read more

From start to finish, the experience of having 5 windows installed in my walls in my dark home was a pleasure. I know that sounds weird to say but after being scammed by two contractors for two unrelated projects, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with not only an ethical company but one with 5-star customer service. The process started with a consultation with Jeff. After things were agreed upon, a quote was signed through online DocuSign. Then, Jeremy comes out to finalize your window options and a contract is signed through DocuSign. I called the offices to put down 50% with my credit card so I could get cash back points. The lead time for installation was 6-8 weeks. To my surprise and joy, I got a call from Jeff around the 4 or 5th week that a spot opened and I could get my 5 brand new windows sooner. When Jeremy and the crew came out, they cut the dry wall to see if any pipes or wires are behind the dry wall, which would prevent the windows from being installed. All five spots where the 5 windows were going had a pipe or wire running straight through!! Even though Jeremy and Jeff remind you that this is always a possibility, it was still stressful for me as I was thinking of the additional costs, having to find a plumber and electrician and other possible issues from re-routing the pipes and wires. I cannot emphasize how crucial Jeremy was in making everything less stressful. He explained different options, gave his advice, and I learned so much general contracting knowledge from him (which I enjoy learning about). This guy is seriously the definition of calm, cool, and collected. After I got those obstacles taken care of, HWE came a week later and finished the job (by the way, the other staff are just as nice). Jeremy recommended a great contractor to patch up the drywall, paint, cut the trim, and make everything look very pretty. I love my windows and wish I could get 5 more..at least! I don't think I'll ever deal with a contracting company as professional, reliable, and sincere as this one. read more

I contacted several window companies prior to deciding to use Houston Window Experts, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I chose them because of their excellent hands-on customer service - from the woman that answers the phone all the way to the owner, everyone was knowledgeable about their products. I have a couple of odd windows and was turned down by one window company because they didn't think they could do the job, but Houston Window Expert's master installer did an amazing job with these windows and I'm very pleased with his work. During the installation process, our saleslady came out to ensure everything was going smoothly, and the owner even reached out to me to make sure I was satisfied with the windows. I would recommend Houston Window Experts to anyone looking to replace their windows. read more

Jeff and his crew were wonderful to work with! From start to finish everyone was quick to respond, warm and friendly and went above and beyond--making sure every detail of the installation was perfect and cleaning up after themselves. I absolutely love my new windows! This company is very professional--I highly recommend them! Thank you, Jeff--you have a fabulous crew working with you! read more

16,000 on all new windows and they are not up to code. We've had a covid scare and I went to open my pretty new windows and 5 of the windows have no springs and cannot be opened. I feel I did not get my monies worth. Additionally, the covid precaution video by owner is crap. Guys did not wear masks inside. Well, they had them around their neck. Sales lady wore no mask.. Told us 90% of work done on outside. Crap. Installed from inside. Not happy. Saying might not have springs on hand to correct. They installed knowing had no springs. Did I get my $16,000 worth? Think not. Shop around. I didnt. read more

We live in a townhome just a block from the seawall in Galveston TX. We decided after purchasing this property that we needed to replace the 7 windows and large glass patio door. We obtained bids from 5 window installers before choosing Houston Window Experts. Jeff came to our home to give us the estimate, we found him to be very knowledgeable in the replacement process and the all products that his company offered. The installation crew was great! They did their best to keep the dust level at a minimum. They also cleaned up after themselves. The Installation Crew works for Houston Window Experts, they are not Third Party Contractors! I would Highly recommend this company for your next window replacement project! NOTE: The price was not the Lowest Bid and it was not the Highest Bid! Even though we paid a little more than our lowest bid, I think it was worth it! Satisfied Customer, Howard read more

Could not be more pleased with their installation of my Milgard windows! Fast and professional. Respectful of me and my neighbors. Cleaned up all the mess and protected my furniture. Windows look and function great! Did not obtain other quotes but think I got good value and most importantly - peace of mind and no hassles with the process. Lengthy comprehensive and transferable warranty. Patty made a good low pressure and informative sales presentation: Jeremy measured and handled the scheduling: and Rafael ran a top notch installation team! read more

Everything from the price quote to installation day was an amazing experience. This family owned business gave me a personalized experienced while being cheaper than Home Depot and two other competitors. CRAZY! read more

Houston Window Experts proved to exceed expectations all the way around. From the sales experience to the installation it was exceptional service. The pricing was good, but more important during these times of COVID-19 their crew was fabulous to clearly communicate their safety protocols and follow them throughout the job. My wife and I were at first uncomfortable with having this work done, but Jeff and his team were supportive and very proactive to ensure the highest standards were set and followed. At the end of the job we were amazed with the cleanliness, safety, and how detailed attention to provide a very high quality experience. We were also amazed at what an aesthetic improvement to make our home feel very fresh and the views through these new windows bring in so much more light with less outside noise. I would not consider any other contractor for anyone else that may be looking for windows because they are simply the best on all aspects. read more

The most AMAZING customer service! I called Houston Window Experts because of their great YouTube videos providing education on window differences as I try to select the best value in window options for my new construction. They don't serve my area (in Illinois), but despite that they didn't just hang up on me but helped me with questions on had on comparable window manufacturers. Makes me WISH I lived in Houston because where you buy and who installs your windows is just as important as the window construction. They went over and above for me, a want-2-be customer who cannot purchase from them due to distance. Thanks again! read more

They were very courteous in contacting me after I indicated my interest on their website. After playing telephone tag for a few days, I finally emailed and in their reply, I found out they have a 5-window minimum for projects. I did not find that information readily available on their website. So not a good company if you only need a few windows replaced. =( read more

I have been searching for window replacements for over 2 weeks now and have spoken to 6 different companys. Jeff is second to last and he is by far not the cheapest, he rolls in with a goat down past his chest, iron cross ring, but clean. I'm thinking slick salesmen with and answer for everything and what he does not know he will be able to deflect enough to confuse you with useless details. I could not be further from the truth. Jeff was knowledgeable on the product, took his time explaining why he thought this window was the best fit for me, he carries many brands. Gave me the reasoning on why I don't need 3 coats on certain windows designed a less cost design on other windows to keep cost down. Gave me a breakdown of each window, removal and installation process and other ways to save money. The best part is that he told me up front he was not going to be the cheap jack on product or installation then backed it up and would do so in writing and the quote reflected it. I don't write many 5 stars and most people will write when something is wrong. But I have to say if you just want to see true salesmen and knowledgeable person work with Houston window experts. I have not decided on going with them just yet but I am finding it difficult to not justify the worth. Will update after we choose a window installation company. Highly recommend if you are looking for Windows hear them out. We are going in a different direction but still great to have met and considered Jeff. read more

I had Houston Window Experts replace a couple of windows a few years ago and they did an outstanding job. We decided to have the rest of our windows replaced. We couldn't imagine using anyone else. The entire process was nothing but professional. No pressure sales. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The crew that installed were great to work with. It seems like they put in a lot of thought in the entire experience for the customer. I wish all contractor companies were this good and professional. Now to the windows. They look incredible. We went with Milgard. It feels like a new home. I can immediately tell a difference in our bedroom. Before there was probably a 5 degree difference between our bedroom and the rest of the house because it was above the garage. New windows in and it feels just like the rest of the house! We are thrilled. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

The owner, Jeff Ludy, is an intelligent young man who runs a great business. He responds to phone and e-mail requests promptly, offers great windows at a reasonable rates, and shows up when he says he will. He and his crew just finished a window replacemnet job for me last week and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. What a difference 4 Simonton windows made on the west side of my house. It use to be like an oven in my kitchen and den, now with my new windows the den and kitchen are 5 degrees cooler...wish I would have done it sooner. After moving into a new (45 year old) home in a new state and climate, we discovered all the windows leaked and many didn't eve lock. I had some ideas about what I wanted in new windows, but didn't want to compromise the history or style of the house. Jeff and Cindy were my 4th window appointment. They gave me their ideas, we chose color, style, and brand that best fit my needs (they rep more than one brand), and off we went. No pressure, no hard sell. Awesome! The windows took significantly longer to arrive than many other companies' windows, but came within the timeframe I was given from the start. One window arrived with the wrong grid pattern, but they replaced the glass with no issues. We put in 14 windows and I love them all! Great company, great windows, great people! It's nice to deal with an honest company!!! read more

Professional, quick, cleaned up after themselves. Great Job! From the sale to the installation they are customer service driven. Jeff was no pressure and followed up with my questions. Signed the deal and delivery to installation was easy and taken care of. Highly recommend this company read more

I reached out to this company via the text option on their website at 9pm on a Monday. I didn't expect a response until the next day and to my surprise they responded and we discussed my issue. Based on the information I provided they would not be able to help me as I may need a repair and not a replacement but they pointed me in the right direction. If I do need a replacement I know where I'll be going. Very pleased with their desire to serve even if it's not immediate revenue for them. read more

I called this morning to get an estimate for replacing two windows in my house. They are leaking horribly and we need the work done quickly. I was told that I might as well try home depot or lowes because they would only do 5 windows. I would NEVER send a customer to a low rate competitor because I wanted a bigger sale. We're not ready to replace ALL the windows in my house yet. In a year or two we might be, but it definitely won't be through this company. read more

After receiving several bids from window installers in and around Houston, a comparable bid for a high quality of product, and Jeff's wealth of knowledge made the decision to more forward with the company effortless. I had four windows replaced in my nearly eighty year old home. The finished product went well beyond my expectations. Based on the expedience, knowledge and overall professionalism shown by the entire staff of Houston Window Experts, I began a second phase, replacing five additional windows. I will use them again and recommend them at the highest regards. read more

Jeff show me three windows Simonton,Milgard and Nt. we choose Milgard for the design and they offered lifetime warranty on windows as well as labor , the others were only warranty for windows and they also charged for taking down curtins and blinds Houston Wcindows Experts did not charge for taking down curtins and blinds.. They finished the job in one day had 6 guys one was the certifided installer Jeremy they were on time which is great since since we live in Crosby Texas. I would high recommend Huston Window Experts read more

At first, I wasn't sure if Window Experts of Houston would be available to install 4 replacement windows in my house because I saw a review on Yelp that said they have a 5-window minimum. So I called to be sure, and they said that this information is not correct (they just get a price break if you order 5 windows or more that can then be passed onto the consumer). They called me back within a day, and then Jeff (the owner) came to our house the next day (in the evening so that both my husband and I could be there) to see what we wanted to have done and make recommendations about which windows he thought would be best. He recommended a Simonton brand window and his bid came in about $800 less than what Home Depot had given us (who we weren't planning to use anyway because of tons of horrible reviews online). Jeff was super nice and didn't pressure us to make a decision right away. We decided to do it and called him the next day (Saturday). He called back that day, we gave him a 50% deposit, and he said that they would order the windows on Monday and it would take approximately 10 days for them to come in. Then they would call us to set up a day and time for installation. They called the following Wednesday and said that the windows were in and offered to come out on Friday (2 days later). The 2 guys who did the installation (Andrew and one other guy) were very professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves better than almost any contractor who has been in our house and took all the old windows away to dispose of them. They managed not to break the tile by the kitchen window which we had been concerned about since we didn't have any extra tile. When they were replacing the blinds on one of the windows, the little plastic hook for the top molding broke off so we were not able to replace the molding (although the blinds themselves are up and working fine) but we ourselves have broken off about 5 of those things already when we have messed with the windows so I do not hold this against them at all. We do have to have the alarm company come out and fix the alarm sensors on the windows but were half expecting that also so it is OK. Another bonus was that Andrew also fixed a door that wasn't working properly (we tipped him $40 extra for this) and also improved another door that also wasn't working properly. I also asked him about some other windows that have been leaking a little bit when it rains hard in the front of the house. At first he thought he could re-caulk them but then said that because they have been recaulked so many times, the old caulk really needs to be removed so that fresh caulk can be applied (otherwise it would not really help). He didn't want to tell me he could fix it and then do something that wouldn't really fix it. He said that they could come back out to do that and that he would talk to Jeff and they would get back to me. They ended up quoting $350 for the work, which we decided to hold off on. Overall, company has been a pleasure to work with; I would definitely hire them again. read more

Jeff and his team are fantastic. I had multiple companies come out and give estimates, but after meeting Jeff, I knew there was only one company I would choose. While the other companies were pushy and tried to convince me that all of my windows were on the verge of rotting away and needed immediate replacing, Jeff was completely the opposite. He even suggested I not replace the largest window in my home saying it was still in great shape and just needed a few minor repairs (this ended up saving me a ton of money). He also was very willing to work with me and provide multiple options on design, color, etc. He did not push a certain product, like many of the companies do. His installation team, led by Jeremy, did a fantastic job. My windows even came in earlier than anticipated and they installed them in the same week they came in! My wife and I could not be happier with the result. I highly recommend Jeff and his team. read more

We heard about Houston Window Experts from our neighbors who had their windows installed by them about a year ago. The owner, Jeff Ludy, came out to the house and sold us on Milgard windows as replacement windows. The warantee was excellent and the quality was very good for the price (we have over 30 windows), His installer, Jeremy came out and measured the windows. It took about 6 weeks for the order to be completed, but we were told about that up front. I made arrangements with their office to start the installation on 11MAY. Jeremy and his team said they would arrive between 8 and 9 AM and pulled up at about 8:10AM. They were friendly, neat and extremely organized. There was no issue that couldn't be resolved. They covered everything before starting on a window. They worked on one section at a time, so it was less disruptive over the two and a half day installation period. One wooden window sill got damaged when the old window was removed. Jeremy bought new wood and repaired it the next day. It's now good as new. They removed all our blinds and window treatments and reinstalled them exactly as they were. Once the job was done, he told me there were 4 screens that needed replacing and two windows had very slight flaws. He spoke to the office manager and the new replacement glass and screens were ordered on the same afternoon. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. They are honest, professional and delivered what they promised. They did a terrific job and the window look great! read more
