This family business is outstanding. They were on time, efficient and good-natured. And they went above and beyond to make sure my new doors were balanced, aligned and well-secured to the existing frame. read more

Juan responded quickly to our inquiry and arrived at the appointed time to look at our patio door and front door issues. He is very professional and determined very quickly what the problems were. (We have had a "few" handymen try to repair our front door, without success) We made appointment for the repairs later in the week and one of his crew, Pablo, arrived right on time. He was also very professional and careful. He knew exactly what had to be done and our doors are working great. He kindly fixed the handle on another door that was sticking and was not part of the quote. We would recommend to anyone to call Juan's company-you won't be sorry!!! Thank you Juan and Pablo. read more

From start to finish Juan and team were amazing, they turned up when scheduled, did a very professional job both sorting problems and replacing a new door. Even after the door had been painted and there was a problem with the lock caused by painter. - he was swift to respond to my call for help. Highly recommended, courteous, professional and reasonable pricing. read more

Juan (the owner) and his crew did a fine job replacing our windows. It was a difficult job and the crew readily adapted to many unexpected situations. They arrived promptly on site each day as expected and cleaned up daily. We were especially pleased with the quality of the interior trim work. Most of the exterior caulking was neat and thorough; however, some was incomplete and surprisingly sloppy. This was corrected on follow-up visits. 95% of the job (replacement of 11 windows/patio doors) was completed within the estimated 5 days, but it wasn't totally done for another 6 weeks which was disappointing. We would not hesitate to hire the WinDoor Guy again. read more

Very prompt service. Fixed a mirror sliding closet door that had come detached from the frame. Charged a fair price. I would definitely use their service again. read more

The back and front doors of our recently purchased home were leaking air and dust like crazy, and in the sandy/dusty part of the Coachella valley we live in that's a real problem. Juan came out quickly, told me what he could do, and within 48 hours gave me a quote to replace the door shoe, new weatherstripping, heavy duty doorstop and corner dust pads. The price was fair and reasonable and I appreciated the fact he didn't try and upsell me. Pablo came out the next day, did a fantastic job very efficiently and cleaned up after he was done. You can now hear the doors breaking the air seal when we open them(they still open easily), which is exactly what we requested. Both Pablo and Juan were courteous and respectful of our family and our property. I highly recommend this company. read more

The WinDoor Guy had been recommended to us from a local door vendor. We contacted Juan and received a timely call back, where we spoke about our job and the need for a bid. We had set a date for him to go onsite (we are remote) to get a sense if what we were looking at and contact us a couple of days later. 3 weeks later and two text messages later, still no response. I know that the construction community is busy in PSP, but not responding after engagement just isn't professional. read more

Very pleased with Juan's knowledge and workmanship. Just a super job from start to finish on our front door. Stated what needed to be done and did it, no BS. Fair pricing. Cleaned up the work area before leaving. I would not hesitate to hire Juan, The Windoor Guy again. read more

I got really lucky that I was able to grab Juan and his team in between jobs. Not only was he able to do a same day service for a door installation gone wrong, his rates are reasonable and the quality of the job is superb. Juan and his team were extremely kind and quick. Please support small businesses and work with The WinDoor Guy - highly recommended! read more

Made an appointment and he was a no- show. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. Another no show. I texted him a third time with '??' He said he could come the next day. Finally showed up, measured and then never submitted a quote. Quite flaky. read more

Win-Door Guy CHARGED ME $200 FOR 30 SECONDS OF WORK BY ADJUSTING 1 SCREW! What a rip off! I have a bi-fold back patio door that WinDoor promised that they would come in the late afternoon to fix. Didn't show up or contact me. The next day they showed up and said it was going to be $250 because they had to replace the mechanism in the door. I agreed commenting that seemed high but needed my door fixed. He went to his truck and got a screwdriver and adjusted one screw and the door worked perfectly. He said that it was too bad but that was still the charge and that I was paying for his expertise. REALLY?? I complained and they adjusted the rate by $50 down to $200. AGAIN, A TOTAL RIP OFF! read more

We had a 20 year old sliding door that was so hard to open - it took grown men two hands to push it open wide enough for people to get through. Juan was so quick to give me an estimate at a fair price and was available to come the next day! The technician came, took a look, confirmed the pricing, and got to work. Within the hour, he was able to fix it and now it opens with one finger. Very thankful for the quick work, speedy reply, and the great result! read more

Juan was super-responsive--very professional to deal with. Gave me a fair and reasonable quote for installing two interior French doors in my house. Very accessible for dealing with questions on selecting the right hardware. Doors came in very fast and were installed within a couple of days. I am impressed at just about how perfect the installation and hanging of these doors was. Thanks! read more

Juan knows his doors! Great job fixing our broken into front door. Prompt, professional and a good value.

Juan and his team were excellent! Came in and installed a new door on our existing frame. He made it fit real snug and was able to match the hardware. He had all his tools and was able to finish the project in about 3 hours. We have an large 96" x 36" door, left in-swing and he was able to the make the appropriate cuts for a perfect fit. Lot of precision and measurements and he made sure to communicate every step of the process and got my approval before the final cut. Thank you to The Win-Door Guy for making a way for my puppy to relieve herself! read more

Five stars for The Win-Door Guy(s)! Juan and Pablo are great! Juan gave me an fair estimate and told me exactly what to expect. Luckily, the space provided was *just* big enough to fit the replacement door. Pablo arrived on time did the installation with skill and excellence. Our "box store door" wasn't exactly of the highest quality and Pablo had to use his problem solving skills to make it work....and it did! Pablo finished up and cleaned the area as well. We are grateful that the whole process was easy. I highly recommend them and will be calling them back when I finally purchase a new slider! read more

Juan and his team (including his son!) were fantastic and the ultimate professionals. They installed two doors in my house and they were quick, cleaned up everything and did an outstanding job. They clearly know what they are doing! I would rate them one of the best contractors I have worked with in Palm Springs and I have worked with several. Would have rated them 6 stars if possible! Great work Juan!!!! read more

May 2018 Palm Springs, CA Juan did a great job on an old sliding door that has never worked properly . It now slides like a new door with his repair. He was on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. When I'm ready to buy new sliders I won't bother with quotes, etc., I'll just call Win-Door guy. read more

I was lucky to find out about the Win-door Guy.  My sliding door was a mess. There is nothing more annoying than a door that you literally have to drag open and close, particularly when you are carrying something heavy.  My lock was also broken.  It was so bad, that we were using a broomstick in the rail to "lock" the door at night.  I put off fixing my sliding door for a long time because I thought it was going to be very expensive to replace it. Juan was very honest about being able to repair it and giving me an estimate for a new door if I wanted to replace it in the future. They did a great job in fixing my sliding door. It slides like it's brand new! Now, I'm also looking to use their services when I install double-pane windows since I have older windows that don't keep the house well insulated. I highly recommend Juan and his crew. They are very professional and friendly. read more

They don't return my phone calls or emails. Are they still in business??

We needed the door to our garage replaced with an upgraded fire rated door, which became a much larger (and more expensive) project than I had originally anticipated. We made some calls to price out the purchase and installation. Juan was very professional and reasonably priced, he setup an appointment on short notice on a Saturday and did a great job. I would definitely hire him again! read more

Juan and team exceeded expectations! They were professional, responsive and attentive to detail. They were very respectful by meeting all commitments, showing up on time and cleaning up. I highly recommend and would always be a repeat customer!! read more

I honestly can't say enough about Juan and his team! His work is exceptional he is completely professional, he goes above and beyond to do things the RIGHT way, his pricing is fair and he does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. I really don't know what more you could ask for. I gave Juan a closet door project that he could have run away from instead he was a problem solver. No contractor likes to FIX another contractors mistakes but Juan did so perfectly with a smile, no cutting corners or blaming the original contractor. Two other contractors came to give me estimates, one decided he didn't want to do the work the other wanted me to hire someone else to do the finishing work. Juan did it all! In addition he and his team are a pleasure to have in your home. Careful and considerate of there surroundings, clean and tidy. I would highly recommend him and would certainly call on him for other services as well. I do not believe he will tell you he can do something if he can't. Thank you Juan! read more
