Door Pros recommended these guys to replace rollers on a slider. Everything went great until they accidentally broke a burglar alarm on the door. I called them and told them what happened and that it will cost me $158 dollars to replace the alarm. What can they do about covering the cost? Said they'd call me back and then ghosted me. Won't use them again. They called me back after this review, apologized, and are sending a check to cover the cost from r the alarm repair. This is more like the other reviews they've gotten. Several years ago we replaced our sliding glass door in our Palm Springs Condo that we bought in the 80s. We chose Milgard because of the quality, but had no idea how EXCELLENT the customer service is! We were having trouble locking the door as Milgard has a unique kind of latch close that we like. They are located in Temecula and we are in Palm Springs, and we called them and they talked us through the fix with the use of a video vision app that let them see close up where the latch and handle needed adjustment. They were patient, clear, and wanting the repair done over the phone just like we did. BAM!!! One more adjustment and instruction and now the handle is as good as new. Thank you Milgard!! read more

I love this business. From start to finish they have been SO professional. I needed to "update" the bathroom during my bathroom remodel. Oscar & Terry worked with me to explain the differences in styles of mirrors and what options might work for my project. He helped me decide what would compliment my remodel by emailing me photos of the finished edge. I chose a suspended mirror on a wood backing with a 2" reveal on all four sides with a flat polished edge. Marty came to measure and explain the difference in styles and what I needed to do before installation. I took care of the wall prep on my end. Terrible experience. They came out to fix a shower leak, and installed a shower dam and bulb seal for $175 and said that it wont make it water tight but it will help. Well it didn't help and the leak is arguably worse. I asked if they would come back out to make sure its installed correctly or add some caulk in the dam seal because the tile has groves, but they said nope, its installed correctly and there is nothing else to do. I do not recommend this company. read more

Placencia Mirror and Glass came recommended to me by a friend who used them on their bathroom upgrade. They came out and gave us a fair price for our mirrors and new shower glass. After the install we noticed that when it was warm the walls would expand a little, causing the glass door to scrap the stationery panel. We called Placencia and they came out and decided to replace the door with one that was a little shorter by about a 1/4". Then we had a problem with a hinge and again they came out and replaced it. Had to wait a few weeks, as they were very busy, but they replaced the hinge and everything is fine. I only mention this because there are a number of glass and mirror companies in the desert. Some a little more competitive than others. However the true evaluation of a company is when something goes wrong and how they respond. I give Placencia 5 stars for their ability to satisfy a customers needs when a problem surfaces. read more
