They picked it up and sent off to a fabricator and came back not just right. They sent it back to get polished correctly and still had the top back in time for my Coachella renters. I had a terrible experience with Glass Masters window installation at my home. One window was installed incorrectly and they scratched 2 windows during the installation process. Moreover, their affiliate company that did the stucco and painting after the installation job did sloppy and unprofessional work. We had to complete the painting ourselves and clean up after the crew. The owner was rarely on the job site. Beware of this company. read more

This company did the original work two years ago to replace all the windows for the previous owner of our current home. I contacted them 4 weeks ago to come and replace a Thermopane window with a broken seal. Every week since I have contacted them without success. The interesting fact is that the owner has come twice to measure and gave me a verbal quote on cost. He is unreliable and my recommendation is that you find a different company for whatever your new or repair glass needs are. Don't waste your time as I did with this company. read more

They came up the hill without any issues, made a recommendation to replace the glass inserts, and got me a quote. !!!BEWARE!!! Glass Masters took a check month's ago for $70,000.00 for windows for a big project, BUT the windows never came. They said the windows were ordered, and even went as far as saying they were on the truck for delivery. Then came the constantly made up excuses why the windows weren't coming, and come to find out, they were lying the entire time. They spent the money they were given for the order, and finally admitted they had never even ordered the windows. This company caused all those involved on this project including owners, contractor, and subs to all be very badly hurt financially, and damaged credible people's reputations with their wrongdoing, procrastination, lies, and own financial hard times. They are and have been capable of doing good work, but at this point, are no longer credible for anything they say, and I warn anyone considering their business to do so in great, great caution. read more

Billy Came out and took a look at our place and gave us our estimate within a couple of days. As a matter of fact they were the only ones out of four estimates that followed up with us. First part of January came and my husband called to confirm that the windows were on schedule. He was told yes and that they would be in at the end of January. He scheduled for first week of February for install. To make a LONG story short, it is the end of March and still no windows!!! They kept telling us the windows would be in the next week, but Tina, Darlene and Billy have lied every step of the way. Do not buy from this company and save yourself the headaches! read more

I have used Glass Master multiple times over the last 20 years and have referred all my friends to them, with nothing but compliments and thanks from my friends. I have never found them to be anything but giving when issues arise as they sometimes... ok, always seem to do.... I have to admit when I stumbled upon their Yelp review from "GAIL" I was very surprised. (I would have asked them about STAN also, but I looked at his reviews and all were 1 star, everything sucks for him, why bother dealing with reality) I take great care in referring people to any business as that business then becomes part of my referral reputation. As I believe there are always two sides to any story and I do refer this business quite regularly, I called them to inquire about their side of the story. My conversation only confirmed my belief and confidence in this business... They were open and clear in their description of events, they were quick to point out that no matter what the cause or real reason for the issue was... it was THEIR issue... went so far as to say even when the client is difficult, changes orders, doesn't communicate their needs clearly or has unreasonable installation time expectations... it still falls on Glass Masters to perform... it is one of the real reasons I value these people and their business principals so much... and last... but not least... maybe even first.. for those of you that have read my other reviews... I have spent the majority of my life dealing with the public in situations like this... and I truly feel that self-centered, unreasonable people who publicly chastise others over events caused.. usually solely by the complainer themselves... cause great anguish for the rest of us reasonable people. After being loyal clients of Glass Masters for over 16 years,we bought a new home and need to replace a sliding door where the seal had broken..Bill and his daughter arrived..assessed the problem and I thought that would be it. After almost 3 weeks I called and no one even bothered to give us a quote..I said to the girl ..just come and get it done.I was given a day and a time so I waited at home for them..I got a call saying they couldn't make it that day..so next day was supposed to be at 8AM..they phoned and said they have to change to 1Pm ..I had to redo my day..by 2:30 no one had showed..called the front desk and told Frannie that now they have to come at 3:30 or 4pm as we were going to be out...SHE SIMPLY HUNG UP.They arrived but didn't bring wheels for a closet..so now I've had to wait another 2 days.we've called Frannie (front desk) twice and left messages and she does NOT REPLY..NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE GLASS MASTERS. read more
