On a rainy Memorial Day Saturday we took the ride from Memphis Tn to Wilson Arkansas for brunch at the Wilson Inn. Brunch did not disappoint. We started with Bloody Mary's and Poinsetta's. Eggs Benedict was delicious. Worth the drive.

I started with the mimoosa flight. The flavors weren't labeled, but I believe the strawberry and apple were my favorite. I ordered a medium rare ribeye, which was slightly overcooked but still a very good cut of meat. I did not care for the coleslaw or the gouda macaroni and cheese. The meal was served with toast. The chocolate pecan pie with ice cream was good. I arrived at 6:30 and was given a glass of water that a drank immediately because i was thirsty. Any establishment that must function understaffed should be like Nashville clubs and set out a jug of water so people can refill their cups on their own. They took my drink order at 7. There were no empty seats at the bar so I sat alone at a table. The experience was OK but they need at least one more server. The only reason they get by with charging over fifty dollars for the steak is because there's literally no other place within 40 miles you can get a good steak. The sides are below average. The servers are friendly but obviously overworked. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of parking.

Absolutely freaking loved this place! The town of Wilson isn't exactly a metropolis, but its place and the adjoins hotel/golf course/museum are worth the drive. I worked at the nearby steel mill and stopped in for lunch and to take in the architecture. The meal and service were great and it's a destination type place for sure.

We love this quaint town as a day getaway. Our waitress was nice & attentive. I will say, the food was not as appetizing as expected. Having ate at the grange with a much more gourmet food tasting, we were a little disappointed. It was absolutely cafe style food. We would like to try the dinner hour meals but we were noticing it looked to be the same menu with less. We loved the atmosphere & got full! I will stand on it that our favorite is certainly the grange. Win, win for the owners since one owns all. check it out if you're close by or even if you're not it's a great area!

The blue crab & corn hushpuppy was excellent, the crab cake was awesome and the salmon was delicious. The service was fast with a friendly smile. The atmosphere was uniquely warm with historic photos of Lee Wilson Inc.

What a hidden jewel! Beautiful location with great seating. Fully stocked bar with cocktails. The service was exceptional. Tried green tomatoes, cauliflower, deviled eggs and loaded fries. All were exceptional and the cauliflower was a surprise. I shared the spare rib, potatoes with mushroom and carrots with my husband. Meat was so tender and great taste. The peanut butter pie to wrap it up was so creamy but not so rich I couldn't have more than one bite. Wilson serves a meal that you won't be making at home! Fantastic!

We have been here twice in the last month, the first time was when we were visiting Arkansas for the first time deciding if we were gonna move here and the second time was after looking at a house after we moved here. This will for sure be the "celebration spot" due to the price of some items but will definitely recommend anyone to try. The food was great and consistent. The service was spot on along with being checked on a proper amount and the decor around the restaurant really reflect the history of the town. Our server was Michelle I believe and she had such a great attitude. 10/10 will for sure be back!

Lovely surprise on a college tour road-trip. Located in a Charming town square with modern features. All dishes were tasty and fresh not frozen heated up junk. Impressive portions and sweet history.

Amazing dining experience. The Wilson Cafe is a quaint restaurant, nestled in the heart of town. There service is always great. I had the pleasure to be served by Robin and Taylor. Both were an absolute pleasure. The cauliflower was very good. It has a remoulade sauce drizzled all over and cooked with spices. The mushroom pasta had a nice Parmesan sauce with a variety of mushrooms. The meatloaf was seasoned well and served with mashed potatoes with a sweet sauce for extra flair. The Brussels were an extra side and are served with pork. The Blondie was great! It has pecans and white chocolate. It was warm and served with vanilla ice cream. You could definitely enjoy a lovely meal with great company. It's off the beaten path, but worth the visit!

    Ratatouille

A cute hidden gem at any hour! I got the ratatouille pasta and it was fabulous. Service is so friendly.

I haven't been to this café since I was a kid; this is not the same place. We stopped in for a really fresh, delicious lunch. The interior is light and bright and our server was attentive. Sandwiches and salads were delicious as was the bread pudding. I wish we were in town longer to stop in again.

Went there with my family and had a good time. The service was excellent and extremely courteous. The inside was spotless and very clean. The food was very good my wife order the peach chicken and waffles and loved them while I ordered the strawberry French toast which was also amazing. Left there hungry and happy

Sunrise Memphis did not disappoint. We stopped in around 12:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and didn't experience any crowds or much of a lunch rush. That being said, after eating here, I completely understand why people mention waiting hours on weekends. The ordering process is simple: walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a number, and seat yourself. I appreciated that they offer both breakfast and lunch all day because it meant we didn't have to choose between the two. I ordered the chicken tenders with tater tots and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave in the middle of a long road trip. Kyler ordered the Kitchen Sink, which came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, and a biscuit. He asked if he could swap the cheesy grits and biscuit for biscuits and gravy, and they ended up bringing him everything anyway! It was a massive meal, but absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also loved the fun, eclectic atmosphere. The colorful Memphis touches throughout the restaurant gave it so much personality, and there was even a bar area that made me think this would be an absolute blast for brunch with friends. Sunrise Memphis ended up being one of our favorite surprises of the entire drive. If you're passing through town, do yourself a favor and stop here.

Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill delivered with a nice side of nostalgia. We started with an appetizer of Cheese Sticks. We then followed that up with some burgers. I got the Livingston's Burger, which was delicious, while my brother got the Ole Tyme Burger. And as if the burgers weren't enough, these burgers were served with a mountain of delicious fresh-cut fries. But the best part of our meal was at the end, when we were convinced to get two milkshakes, one for each of us. And I'm glad we did, as these were the most delicious milkshakes we had in quite a while, and I was sipping on mine all the way back to our hotel. In short, if you find yourselves traveling through Brownsville and have the time for a proper meal, I strongly recommend you take the detour away from the Interstate to stop at Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill, and don't forget dessert, because it is the best part here.
