I've been inside to eat on several occasions, very good. I ordered take out 2 grande burritos with extra cheese sauce, got none! On either! But I did get 1 PCs of bacon a huge handful of onions and green peppers, very disappointed, won't order take out again from here! This little place is great. Had to come to Covington in an emergency. Hadn't been here in a very long time. Needed some breakfast fast. Found this place and was rated pretty high. No doubt. It was clean, service was good, food was fresh and fast. We had the fiesta omelette and waffle. Waffle was airy and big. Nice taste. Omelette was plenty full of veggies. Fresh veggies. Toast was like Texas toast. Soft, big piece of bread. Nice people working there and very attentive. In all, I would definitely recommend. read more

Let me begin by reminding you that the whole premises of this place is breakfast, its literally in the damn name. Now, I can't speak towards lunch here, because I haven't had it. But when I wake up and am in the mood to be disappointed this place never fails, from the overcooked eggs to the dismal customer service. The Breakfast Cove isn't the first place you'd choose. It's attached to a gas station and while it may be right off the interstate, it is away from the other restaurants and doesn't stand out. The inside is plain, I've been in better environments, and it could use more decoration. But what lacks in apperance, makes up in food. I've only had one dish so far (I do plan on going back) and it was the chicken taco salad. Wonderful portion size. Great flavor, nice and juicy with good salsa. The service was good; quick and nice, food came out fast (granted, we were the only ones there). I would recommend this place to anyone, if you are craving breakfast or Mexican food. Came in and sit at the bar at 11:15 am, order was taken swiftly but then service basically stopped. 11:55 rolls around and I decided to politely ask if my food was almost ready, and she politely responded sure thing, 12:05 rolls around and a whole table of customers 5+ people got up and walked out after the manager decided his impatience was not her issue. I watched her walk off mid-conversation with the gentleman, which infuriated him. They leave without incident, as I'm watching my food get cold on the plate by the grille. I watch the cook sit the other plates on the warmer to be served all the while my food still in chill mode. I finally received my for, GET THIS, an hour and 7 minutes from the time I walked it. There was never more than 15 people in here at one point. Everyone but the manager was trying to do their part, while the little Spanish lady spent almost the whole time I was there, catching up with an old friend. The servers were wonderful, the cook did his job, but this place has went way down hill in the past 3 months. If you want good breakfast with wonderful service, go to the Atoka Breakfast cove. Hooray for The Breakfast Cove and their delicious coffee. There are not many choices between Millington, TN AND Ripley on Highway 51 for good coffee. Yeah, yeah, yeah there's a couple McDonalds and supposedly a Starbucks but I don't drink their crappy mud burnt offerings. The Breakfast Cove saved me. My kids wanted breakfast for dinner, this place kills it. Think waffle house with local charm. The vast menu of breakfast items coupled with the dinner makes it a must go to. Great small place to eat. They offer "mini breakfast" which is ideal for a small quick breakfast. I ordered the two eggs and toast. Requested the eggs poached and this was the first time I have had my eggs properly poached! IHOP couldn't even do that! read more

I ordered the steak n eggs, and it came with a side of hashbrowns. One egg was overcooked with a fully cooked yolk, steak was tough and gaimy. Potatoes were good, coffee was good. There's nothing else around so your kinda stuck eating here or driving a country mile to get anywhere else. Very clean seating area, floors very clean.
