Potato skin appetizer.
Christie N.

Recently we celebrated my husbands birthday and wanted to enjoy a nice dinner somewhere. This place did not disappoint! We both ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection. No joke, one of the best steaks I've had. We also ordered the street corn appetizer and I couldn't get enough. Absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and if she didn't know the answer to our questions, she went out of her way to get the information we wanted. I gave it four out of five because we ordered drinks and the potato skins as well. My husband's Bloody Mary was very disappointing and the potato skins were very very dry and had zero flavor. The restaurant itself has a great vibe and we will definitely be back. (((I can't stop thinking about that amazing steak!!!!))) We also took home a slice of red velvet cheesecake. It was perfect.

My satisfied smile.

I've been to the Cellar a few times and steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very attentive and also helpful in recommending delicious sides cooked to your taste.

Food here was amazing!! ****FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY****** First off, let's start with the drinks. %%%%%. BOURBON FLIGHT. %%%%% This was made up of four very generous pours of bourbon from Blue Note. Great unique flavor for two of them and gentle soothing taste for the other two. The aroma and color were great. The pours were about 2-2.5ox each. Huge!! $$$$$. STEAK. $$$$$ 16oz steak, wow! I've had a lot of steaks and never had a steak that was so delicious and of such quality at $39. In any other city, this would be a $90+ steak. So juicy, perfectly cooked, and the fat is so soft it melts in your mouth. @@@@@@ SIDES @@@@@ Mash potatoes were so garlicky - awesome! The asparagus, on point and simple. Mixed veggies were nicely grilled, all to satisfaction. """""""""""" APPETIZER """"""""""""" THE Boudin balls - like hush puppies, filled with meat. First time I've had something like that. Delicious! Meaty! +++++++AMBIANCE & SERVICE++++++++ The servers were so nice. Kind and friendly, at tentative but not distracting. The place has a cool speakeasy vibe, casual but classy. Something that is a bit different in the are. Check this place out!!!!

Very good service but I was a little disappointed with them not having what was advertised on their menu. It took me a bit to reselect what I wanted to eat. Our waitress was Amazing and the Mimosa Flight was so delicious. My hubby Club sandwich was great too and my French Toast was great! I really wanted the sliders but will be willing to return for them or a good steak.

The absolute Best Steaks and Bourbon I've ever had. Staff and service are A1!!!!! I've been around the world to many steak places and you cannot beat this for a small town! This Rivals any major downtown steak place at half the price. The Bourbon and wine selections are Top Notch! Will absolutely make this my go to when here on any trip!

You know the food must be exceptional when customers are willing to drive two hours just to enjoy…read morethe barbecue. That was certainly the case for me, and I'm glad I made the trip. Today I ordered the lunch special: pulled pork barbecue with fresh homemade coleslaw, crispy French fries, and a Dr Pepper. Everything was delicious, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for. I had the pleasure of meeting Kenzie, who provided excellent service, and the manager, Cory, who was friendly and welcoming. I learned that Kenzie makes all of the restaurant's homemade fried pies. Cory recommended the chocolate fried pie as one of his favorites, and after trying it, I completely agree--it was absolutely outstanding and the perfect way to finish the meal. The restaurant itself is older and a bit dated, but it is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, hometown atmosphere. During my visit, there were plenty of locals dining in, and I noticed a steady stream of customers picking up to-go orders, which says a lot about the quality of the food. I have high standards when it comes to food, customer service, and cleanliness, and I'm happy to say this restaurant met every one of them. If you're looking for authentic barbecue and friendly service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's definitely worth the drive. John Lobato, DIT

I had some very fond memories of this place growing up. I should have probably just let them…read moreremain distant memories though. My Dad used to stop here, it seemed like, every time we passed between Paris, TN and Memphis, TN when I was growing up. I do keep forgetting that my parents had the taste buds of the absolute whitest people on the planet. I should always consider this when revisiting a place from my childhood. C had stopped by here in a trip from Jackson a few months ago. The food kinda sucked that day, but I thought it was a fluke maybe. I had a trip to Nashville and decided to hop off the interstate and take a Bozo BBQ detour. I walked in and it was almost the same temperature inside as it was outside. This was the third week of July, with a high of 94. They explain to sit anywhere and I do. As soon as I sit down I am assaulted by the biggest, most aggressive, house flies I have ever seen. These were generational flies that had ancestors that dated back to the 60's and their families have never left Bozo's after all this time. These things were diabolical and one even bit me on the back of the neck. I mention this because I failed to read to reviews talking about the heat inside and the insane fly population for years prior to my last visit. Apparently, it's been a problem for a long time. It needs to be addressed by the owner, or the Health Department needs to come and make them do something. It's nasty in here plain and simple. Sweaty waitresses bitching about the heat with the customers, no telling how gross the cooks are in the kitchen. I could probably look past some of this if the food didn't suck out loud now. The menu is just one thing BBQ when I was there really. Pulled pork, sandwich or plate, which is really kind of the same thing anyway. Ribs are only on the weekends, which is weak as hell in my opinion. They have a bunch of catfish and burgers and shit, but this place is Bozo's BBQ! What the heck?!?! I had the pulled pork plate. I have pictures down there of it. No more bashing needs to happen, Adam. Two stars for the memories. It will be nothing but that going forward. '25 - 82/111
