The rooms have an unpleasant odor of cigarettes, and the receptionist displays a very rude demeanor. I discovered dried blood stains on the bed sheets and marks on the covers. When I attempted to discuss this with the receptionist, the only person in charge, he responded with an attitude. Instead of being reasonable, he suggested that the stains were likely my doing, which I found offensive. Another staff member mentioned that it might have been spilled wine. The receptionist then added that if I was dissatisfied, I did not have to return. Update : I attempted to give this establishment another chance, but to my dismay, I encountered the same receptionist as during my previous visit. He exhibited a rude demeanor and refused to provide me with a room. When I requested the contact information for his manager or the person in charge, he disregarded my request. I documented this incident, and it is truly disrespectful in every aspect, considering I merely stood there.

The concept is good for a couple of hours but for overnight or couple of days then it's not worth the cost. Have been emailing Urban cowboy for a few days…read more.. I was told I can do a special boudior shoot at their tree house for $450 for 4 hours... As a bride who cares about details I decided to do it and that we would rent out the tree house for 2 days the weekend of our wedding in October! Costing us $2,000 despite probably not being able to find anyone to fill the second room for $500 a night! But I wanted it to be worth it. We spend our first night as husband and wife at the same location where had a special boudoir shoot for my future husband to cherish forever ! And it'll be special for the both of us! On May 19th I was told it was $450 for the shot! Great! I'll spend it and pay my photographer,it's worth it! 2 days later I was told their policy changed! 2 days!!!!!! Despite them giving me their word! So then they asked for me to pay the full day buy out 1,000 for the shoot! I only need 2-4 hours max! And they couldn't change their policy that's SO IMPORTANT! If it's so important why was I told otherwise by their own employee) Anyway I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Yes the place is cool but clearly they only care about the money rather than customer service! I'm personally live my life being held accountable for my word. I would never say something I wouldn't/couldn't do (if you ever had kids or dealt with them you know they'll hold you up to it) isn't that how you should run a business?!?! Your mistake! Your problem?! Maybe learn but also stay true to what you said and don't let it happen again?! But clearly the people at Urban Cowboy don't care about their word! So disappointed!!! And I was planning to use them for other things! Baby moon, baby shower, anniversary! They just lost this lifetime customer over their own mistake! - I even have screenshots of our conversation! But can't post photos on here for some reason.

The mood is very relaxed, communal, trusting, and open. Cas was so easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Such a fun experience.

My room came to about 435 dollars for one night. The lobby and room are super basic, absolutely nothing special (kind of reminiscent of a Ramada Inn or some similar budget hotel). It pains me to pay that much for basic, yes, even in New York City (and we ARE talking Brooklyn here, even if one of the. most trendy, happening neighborhoods). So, while there was absolutely nothing wrong with my stay, I'm a bit bitter about blowing that much money on a hotel that's so low brow, they actually called me 10 minutes before check out time to remind me that it was check-out time. What? That has literally never happened to me before.

The room is so small, I can't even open my suitcase, and I have to maneuver around it, just to get around the room. Paper thin walls. My room is between two others, so on one side I hear people arguing, on the other, a couple having relations - it's about 3am as I write this. The street noise is relentless. As others have written, cigarette and marijuana smoke can be smelled in the hallway. The heater/air conditioner is wildly inconsistent and my room keeps shifting from hot to cold. The carpet is old and falling apart. The bathroom is about 1 foot from the bed and has a sliding door, that doesn't provide much privacy. If you're traveling with someone, you REALLY have to be cool with hearing everything they do in the bathroom. If your bathroom and toilet isn't enough, because of the super thin walls, be prepared to hear EVERY. SINGLE. TOILET that may be surrounding you at all hours of the night. The staff has been nice, but I arrived about 30 minutes early and was told my room was ready, but I wouldn't be allowed to check in unless I paid a $50 fee, which I refused. I was told I could wait in the dining area to have breakfast (which wasn't actually available). There was coffee and water, but I was not about to eat pastries that had literally just been stored by a sanitation bucket. I can't believe this is what you get for about $500 a night. Not four-star at all. While the hotel is in Williamsburg, don't expect to feel safe or comfortable walking back to this place at night. I may be traveler, but I actually grew up in Brooklyn, this is not a place a would recommend to anyone. It's on a poorly lit, poor foot traffic part of the neighborhood, the creepy highway underpass alone is enough to give anyone pause. My job has me booked here for four days, but I'm leaving in the morning. This is a fine place for people looking for a party hotel or twenty-somethings trying to save some money, but for most adult or business travelers, you will find it extremely lacking. The room was clean. The shower was fine.

The staff was understanding, kind, patient, and flexible. The food at the rooftop was so tasty, I highly recommend doing room service. The rooms are intimate, clean and have all the amenities one would need for a stay. Restaurants, bars and the train station are within walking distance, which makes it all the more accessible. As an actual New Yorker, this hotel in the heart of Williamsburg is ideal for a visit. There is also a terrace on the 1st and 2nd floor. Looking forward to returning in the future.

That said, the amenities could use some TLC. They give you loose coffee grounds, but who knows how fresh they are, and there were only two bags of tea... both looking a little past their prime. You can hear the highway, but it's still quieter than staying at the Moxy on the other side of Williamsburg where the train overhead and hallway noise never let up. Since we have pets, they've put us in the back of the hotel both times, which definitely feels like a pattern. Parking is inconvenient and not attached to the building. And the destination fee -- for what, exactly? It feels unnecessary and a little insulting, especially considering the location is just okay at best, basically under the BQE.

No bar in the hotel but there is one in the Holiday Inn Express next door. The issue we had with this hotel was the price gouging - Over $300 dollars without taxes for a room that shouldn't have been not much over $100 dollars. It seems this hotel, and the few others in the area all do the same thing, prey on travelers whose flights are canceled or delayed. Also, the neighborhood is not at all what I would consider safe at night especially.

Yelp removed…read moremy original review that shows the video and audio of an intoxicated woman outside my door, wanting to fight due to my complaints and the staff asking her to quiet down and not smoke marijuana, before the police arrived to escort me to a new room safely. I booked this hotel for four nights on business. Upon entering my room the floor was not vacuumed, one of the two complimentary waters had been opened, partially drank and put back, the windows had dirty hand prints all over them, there was no microwave as the Expedia description promised, the outlets and lamp by the bed did not work and the towels were not made up all cute like their photos imply; just two thrown over the towel rack in the bathroom and a stack of hand towels next to the sink. The drapes do not fully block the light from the streets and the new colored LEDs they've put on the outside of the building . You can see clear as day at night with all the blinds pulled and shoved into the corners. There is an industrial yard across the street that runs 24/7 which emits a high pitched beeping that can be heard even with ear plugs in and pillows over your head. If you have to stay here, request the side of the hotel furthest away from that. You can still hear it no matter where you are but if your room faces it, it's mind numbingly loud. There is a garbage truck that parks nightly on the street of the Industrial side. Needless to say, sitting outside is a no unless the smell of trash doesn't bother you. The doors are heavy. If any of your neighbors on the floor enter or leave the room you will know about it. There is no sleeping through it, ear plugs or not. On the 5th floor they're putting a roof top balcony which is LED lit. If you want to have any chance for sleep, don't stay on this floor. The room doors have huge floor and side gaps and let in all noise, there is no muffling of voices or commotion. Do not be deceived by the photos of the upgraded bathrooms, this place is a nightmare. The only positive thing about this place is the beds are comfortable, but do not plan to actually fall asleep on them. The front desk staff seem nice but they are complacent and apologetic. Real issues do not get dealt with and they just endlessly apologize. When I asked for the number of their manager they refused to provide it and told me I would be contacted regarding my stay. As you can imagine, I never received a call.

Suna was beyond professional, friendly, accommodating and provided suggestions on places in the area to eat. What I liked: The hotel aesthetics was nice. The lobby area was beautiful. Lobby seating, computer area, complimentary coffee and croissants was a great touch. The hallway carpet was bright and colorful and whatever fragrance they use, smelled good. Check in process was easy and I don't believe there was an incidental fee which I liked. Check out was for 11am, but we were given an extra hour. If we needed our luggage to be held to grab a bite, the hotel would hold behind the desk. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. We also had a balcony which we did not use. Now, what could be better or different for me: The layout of the entrance is different. Enter on one level and either take the elevator or steps up to the next floor to the lobby area to check in. No vending machines, therefore no sodas/juices. The room was on the small side but we were only spending one night. There were two nightstands but only one lamp furthest away from the door. The outlets to charge phones were up on a ledge and there were no USB. The bed could have been made up better. I walked in thinking someone just got off of it. It would have been nice to have 4 pillows as opposed to 3 (2 for my husband and 2 for me). No closet, where's the closet? Just an area where the ironing board was and a couple of hangers. Desk chair: The room could have used one so that we were not sitting on the bed. Towels: They were rather thin and I would have appreciated having two hand towels as opposed to one. Bathroom door: OMG! It was so incredibly heavy. Don't wait to the last minute...lol The hotel does appear to have a modern look and does have potential. I just believe a few tweaks could have been made when designing to make it more user friendly. Again, I like the customer service but I probably would not stay here again.
