We arrived and the lady behind the glass could not find our reservation. While she was looking, an officer came in to ask about the bathroom. He never came back. While she was looking, people inquired about the rates. A flat rate for the first four hours and then an hourly rate. While she was looking, women with a certain composure -- I'll let you infer -- loitered between the door, tiny lobby and the entrance to the hallway. Mom kept giving me looks and repeating: "but he (the officer) didn't come back?!?" I was astonished at how this Expedia find had gone so awry. We went up one level to the room and the smoke stench was overwhelming as soon as we opened the door. Immediately back downstairs to the front desk and the clerk looked shocked at the possibility of any smoke smell. The next room up one level and practically right across from the front desk was better, but almost smelled like weed. The room was clean though so we decided it was doable for one night. I stepped out to the vending machine, clearly visible to the lobby, to get a bottle of water and a man was staring at me as if he could see right through me. It was so creepy. Half the room outlets didn't work and it was tight to maneuver around the queen bed. We rushed to get ready for bed, showered, and kept repeating to ourselves -- it's just one night, just one night, just one night. Do not recommend this hotel.

She wanted a hotel next to the subway and this spot was it. If you were in the front of the hotel you would actually hear the train but in the back we didn't hear a thing! The room was big for NYC standards. Only complaint was it needed to have tables by the bed...and the bathroom sink was a tiny rectangular sink for a spacious bathroom..so confusing. Bed was comfy, pillows comfortable, beautiful glass shower with great water pressure and hot water. Clean and nicely decorated.

I was initially thrown off when I was told to hit the down button on the elevator but this is New York so gotta expect the unexpected. Then I was in shock to see 1/2 sized windows and then I realized that it was eye level for anyone walking in the parking lot. On Sunday they must rent a space to a small church. I could hear the singing, but I really didn't want to. If u are in the bed with your husband, Wife, significant other, or lover, most ppl don't want to wake up to gospel music. This was my first time staying in this type of room, luckily I wasn't here to enjoy the view. Otherwise the hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. The parking lot wasn't as small as reviews made it seem, so next time I'll probably drive. And next time I'll definitely request a non-basement room!

As a bride who cares about details I decided to do it and that we would rent out the tree house for 2 days the weekend of our wedding in October! Costing us $2,000 despite probably not being able to find anyone to fill the second room for $500 a night! But I wanted it to be worth it. We spend our first night as husband and wife at the same location where had a special boudoir shoot for my future husband to cherish forever ! And it'll be special for the both of us! On May 19th I was told it was $450 for the shot! Great! I'll spend it and pay my photographer,it's worth it! 2 days later I was told their policy changed! 2 days!!!!!! Despite them giving me their word! So then they asked for me to pay the full day buy out 1,000 for the shoot! I only need 2-4 hours max! And they couldn't change their policy that's SO IMPORTANT! If it's so important why was I told otherwise by their own employee) Anyway I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Yes the place is cool but clearly they only care about the money rather than customer service! I'm personally live my life being held accountable for my word. I would never say something I wouldn't/couldn't do (if you ever had kids or dealt with them you know they'll hold you up to it) isn't that how you should run a business?!?! Your mistake! Your problem?! Maybe learn but also stay true to what you said and don't let it happen again?! But clearly the people at Urban Cowboy don't care about their word! So disappointed!!! The shared kitchen/living space always had great music playing, and the whole place was super clean. Our room looked and smelled like heaven. Breakfast was wonderful, complete with bloody marys made for us by Cas, the hostess. We started the evening in the hot tub and then went out to a great bar Cas recommended to us. The bed was a cloud. The mood is very relaxed, communal, trusting, and open. Cas was so easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Such a fun experience.

I tour around the country and stay in a lot of hotels and I would happily recommend The Quinta Inn & Suites Brooklyn East to anyone. I had some of the best sleep I've had in days with multiple options on Pillow firmness I was able to find one that was just right. I was comfortable leaving my car in their secure lot without ever questioning if it was safe. The continental breakfast was standard, eggs, Canadian Bacon, Hash Browns, Waffles, etc. which is all I needed. I'm happy with my decision to stay at The La Quinta Inn & Suites East Brooklyn and I believe you will be too.

Our room was also short on towels, and missing a trash can and iron. During our stay, everything else was amazing. It was definitely a nice place to stay. We were just a 3-minute walk from the subway station. There's also a pharmacy right in front, which made it super convenient. I would stay here again without issues if they improve the communication about early check-in.
