Josie was great. She showed us around our floor (when you rent a room you get the entire floor) and talked about locking up and things like that. The Breakfast portion is on the lighter side. Cereal and juice are available. Josie offered to get pastries in the morning but we said we didn't need it, there are too many great places for brunch in the neighborhood. The rooms were clean, the main bathroom seemed brand new (the second bathroom in the bedroom was nice to have as well) and the location was fantastic. I'd much rather pay a little more to stay here as opposed to getting a hotel on the other side of Park Slope. If you need a place to stay in Park Slope I recommend considering this place.

As a bride who cares about details I decided to do it and that we would rent out the tree house for 2 days the weekend of our wedding in October! Costing us $2,000 despite probably not being able to find anyone to fill the second room for $500 a night! But I wanted it to be worth it. We spend our first night as husband and wife at the same location where had a special boudoir shoot for my future husband to cherish forever ! And it'll be special for the both of us! On May 19th I was told it was $450 for the shot! Great! I'll spend it and pay my photographer,it's worth it! 2 days later I was told their policy changed! 2 days!!!!!! Despite them giving me their word! So then they asked for me to pay the full day buy out 1,000 for the shoot! I only need 2-4 hours max! And they couldn't change their policy that's SO IMPORTANT! If it's so important why was I told otherwise by their own employee) Anyway I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Yes the place is cool but clearly they only care about the money rather than customer service! I'm personally live my life being held accountable for my word. I would never say something I wouldn't/couldn't do (if you ever had kids or dealt with them you know they'll hold you up to it) isn't that how you should run a business?!?! Your mistake! Your problem?! Maybe learn but also stay true to what you said and don't let it happen again?! But clearly the people at Urban Cowboy don't care about their word! So disappointed!!! Within moments of arriving, she was looking for more money stating we never told her it was a wedding. She was antagonistic and confrontational. If you are staying with more than 1 person, expect to be sharing utencils, glasses and mugs. Toilet paper is rationed. She will come up to you room while you are out AND while you are there. She will turn off your air conditioner. It was a deliberate effort on our part not to have her ruin our wedding weekend. Hospitality is no where to be found. Bibi proudly professes "This is how we do it in Brooklyn ". I don't think so. I think this is how she does it.

The house had a nice porch with comfortable seating on a beautiful tree-lined street. The room was spacious and clean. However, when we met the owner our stay became an unpleasant experience. We were several hours late because of delays at the airport and did not arrive until early evening. We got the key from my daughter and entered our room. My wife had personally called the owner several times to confirm our reservation and she assured us that the whole top floor was ours with two bedrooms and bathrooms which is what we needed because our adult son was also with us. We noticed that one of the bedrooms had clothing and personal items in it. When my wife knocked on Bibi's door later that night she informed us that an Italian couple were staying in the other bedroom and do not close the door to the common room. The next day Bibi was found walking through our room complaining about empty bottles on the counter and that we had not turned off the air conditioner. That night she confronted us about banging on her door at night and demanding cash only for our stay which she never mentioned in conversations with my wife. I had to walk a mile to the nearest ATM to get the cash. Bottom line - the commandant of this stalag will make you feel like an intruder and not like her guest. This place is to be avoided at all costs.
