I just wanted to let you guys know that Courtney chopped off all my hair without my consent back in 2022 and then had the audacity to tell me my reaction wasn't OK when all I did was cry and Express how I never consented to that, i'm positive my ex friend paid her off or told her to cut it that short regardless as a professional why would you do that? It's still doesn't sit right with me till this day. Her excuse was "I thought we were cutting from the shortest layer" after I asked her for a layered haircut, That's really big to get mixed up and I don't want happening to anyone else. Book with her at ur own risk, I will say she's a great colorist, but horrible with communication, attitude, and cutting hair. After some deep diving, it turns out a lot of the hairstylist have cut hair way too short without people's consent. I really don't recommend coming here if you value the length of your hair and value, your voice being heard.

I walked in with total trainwreckery on my head, with what I thought was an impossible ask for Lydia. I really wanted her to magically turn my "sea hag" faded teal and green bedraggled lower back natural curls with 5" of grey roots (that I couldnt keep up) with silver, and bring back my bouncy curls. Not an easy ask, because I didnt want heavy bleach due to perimenopusal hair dryness, and had a veeery limited budget to play with. I even had a backup plan, because I was SO SURE a Silver that could grow into my natural color just would not be an option. Lydia took one look at me and had a plan. I dont think either of us were sure it would work, but she's brilliant and has 18+ years experience and a foundation in color theory, so we took a chance that dying my green hair hot pink would take me to a silvery tone. It worked! The woman pulled off a miracle on my head! I adore my lush silvery locks, with a bit of an oilslick tone of faded denim blues and violets that shimmer in the sun. My hair is so much healthier, and I can literally pull off a silk sleep bonnet, spritz with rosemart water, add a bit of hair oil and shake my curls into place. And amazingly enough, she managed under budget! If youre looking for a stylist/colorist/curly hair specialist you really cannot go wrong with Lydia! am LOVING my locks, again! Thank you, Lydia!!! Plus, wanted something that's a closer drive to my home/work. My appointment on Tuesday was with Ashleigh, @locksandlore, and she was the absolute sweetest. Even though she's a curly specialist, I wanted someone who truly understands my hair as I make this big shift. I also saw Danielle, @fairiehairie, for the wash and style after the cut and she was lovely. Everyone there was so professional and friendly! My appointment had been with Sierra and I received a call prior to my appointment informing me she was gone and if I was ok with having my appointment with Jennifer. That was fine I didn't think it would be bad until I arrived and came face to face with her. After I was sat, Jennifer arrived to my chair and immediately said "so what are we doing" she was frowning and I felt she was not happy to be cutting my hair. There was NO hello, no greeting nothing. I didn't want to write a review but my hair is choppy and the layers are horrible. My haircut was nothing I expected and I will have to wait out the growth to get it fixed. One side is shorter then the other he chopped the front up so it looks like I have a short hair cut but left my length in back! My hair is not falling right and when I walked in all I wanted was a trim of ends and trim of layers. I would cry but my husband tells me it will grow out! Perry did not charge me for the cut which was a surprise and I'm sure it's because of Jennifer's horrible attitude but I hate my hair right now and would have paid for a decent haircut! and am sad Sierra is not there.
