Happy hour until 8pm! How cool is that? There's a huge selection of wine and beer for $3-7, and I can tell you from my experience that the wine pours are generous. The servers are very friendly, and I like the trivia and board games floating around. The big problem with Whining Pig though is the design. Besides the seats around the bar, there's only one table near the back. The remainder of the seating is against the wall, and who wants to be stuck staring at the wall. Even at the bar, it's difficult to play a game with more than two people in your party since you're not facing each other. I wish there were more high tops like the Arcadia location. But again, happy hour until 8pm. read more

Don't come here to eat! (Although I wish they had a real food menu). The service is top notch. The bartenders were very tentative to myself and my friends. We ordered a meat and cheese board it was good enough for the occasion but don't come here hungry unless you want to enlighten your inner child with one of their grilled cheeses. Very personable staff. Tiffany is one of the most kind hearted individuals and makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. The entire bar has a very hipster vibe with card/board games literally ALL over the place! They have a gigantic chalkboard along one wall for people to write whatever they want and has some very cute messages. I'd give it a full 5 stars if they had more beer on tap. Most of their beers are in bottles/cans which I have no problem with other than not being able to sample some of the craft beers I have no idea of. such a cool bar!! my coworkers always go to this place and i see why! this place was a lot smaller than i thought but it has a cool little homey vibe to it. the selection of drinks is unbelievable. bree the bartender was amazing and she helped me pick a beer i liked - i tried the prickly pomegranate cider and it was so good. my friends warned me though that once they run out of a keg they change it with a new beer so don't get attached to beers as they change a lot. i would definitely come back here. there's lots of games too to play with friends and they even have a classic super mario bros game in there!! awesome first experience (: read more

Will not be returning. Apparently they where at capacity so we waited for 4 people to leave then went in to be confronted by Daniel who was rude an asked us to leave because they reached capacity so I told him 2 or more people left and he said you have to leave. So it's safe to assume they where over capacity. This is the first time I have had a issue with Daniel but I have witnessed him being rude to other customers. Shame because I enjoyed the rest of the staff and atmosphere. I just want to emphasize its Daniel that is the problem not the rest of the staff. Daniel is rude and should perhaps work behind the sene and not be exposed to the general public. read more

This place is so fun and the beer selections are great!! Let alone, the 1-8pm happy hour EVERY DAY!! It's such a great atmosphere. I had a sour there...and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. It was a cranberry sour and it was hands down the greatest beer I've ever had. So if anyone goes there and sees it on their menu, I think the name had Iron in it, let me know!! read more

Okay, so I'm not much of a drinker and I am most definitely a "lightweight" when it comes to drinking. I also have this gluten allergy which makes drinking beer not an option. I was impressed with how a bartender immediately came over and introduced himself to us and offered suggestions based on our preferences. We were then able to stay at the bar and play games and interact with others. I had so much fun. We stayed there for nearly 2 hours. I'd recommend this bar to anyone. Excellent selection of craft beers, and close-quarters setup encourages you to interact with your neighbors if you're inclined. Board games are available. Their menu has many different options, it was hard to choose! We had a couple of their drinks, a raspberry drop & some blood orange one, and they were AMAZING. Every staff member we ran into were super nice. I'd definitely recommend coming here for lunch or even dinner. read more

DISCLAIMER: This is a place to drink and be social, not a restaurant per se!! Once you get over that... On to the bulk of the experience! I ordered the Treana White Wine and the Garnacha from Spain. Both were wonderful and at an amazing price that kind of surprised me! I also ordered the meat and cheese plate which I thought was tasty however - the olives in the middle are NOT made for a charcuterie board, they belong in a martini. I'd leave those off all together or at least offer a better quality olive. ( or just substitute more apricots and walnuts). People were filing in and out and it seemed to have a steady flow of guests coming in and out! Our batman was great. Very friendly and I noticed a laugh and a smile pop out from under that bushy beard! Wonderful service from him. I will be back! read more

We had Tiffany as a bartender and she was was really friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, made great recommendations and even remembered our names all night. Established in 2018.

The Whining Pig was established in 2013 as your neighborhood beer & wine bar. In its conception, the main focus revolved around wine tasting and bottle purchases with the idea of craft beer being secondary. With the addition of 125 craft beer options, the focus shifted from solely wine and now included the ever-growing market of the craft beer world. In addition to the beverage shake up, the u-shape bar was also conceived. The Whining Pig wanted to be known for more than the drinks they served, but become an establishment that focused on building relationships with its patrons and promote customer engagement. The new bar design allowed for easy conversation with the bartender and promoted interaction between customers. The Whining Pig has now become a place where the stresses of life can be set aside for a brief moment in your day. A place you feel welcomed and respected. A place where people listen and never judge. The Whining Pig is not a bar, it is an experience.

So much room to move around and actually have conversations with everyone -- not cramped at all. Best part: we got to bring our dog Ellie to celebrate with us. OHSO Gilbert is super dog-friendly and they even brought Ellie water and a homemade dog treat for the patio. We ordered just about every appetizer on the menu -- the Buffalo Chicken Dip, the potstickers, all of it -- and we really liked them. We ordered dinners and dessert as well and were pleased with all of it. And for a retirement party on a budget, it was very inexpensive. We were able to host an our group, have our own space, and still come in under our retirement celebration budget. From the dedicated server, to the cabana with TVs, to being dog-friendly and easy to book, OHSO made it SO easy. Thanks for making her retirement night so memorable -- we'll be back!

I actually have a fond disliking to gin but the cocktail was pretty delicious :) thanks for the recommendation. I was also super torn on a burger choice so Kalli suggested I spin the wheel. After a few more minutes of deliberation, I finally spun it... spun it 3 times for it to land on something I wanted LOL. I ended up getting the Bourbon Trail.. not gonna lie, I was a little nervous but it was DELECTABLE !!! Bacon was not too soft and not too crispy just right, burger was juicy, bun texture seemed fresh and sandwich not TOO cheesy. Great choice and the French fries paired very well. I'm super full... it was sooo good I almost finished it yikes .. anyway, great service and great first experience ! And thank you again Vanessa for your patience. I know between my indecisiveness and pickiness, I can sometimes frustrate restaurant staff (or so my overthinking brain leads me to think that), she was very patient, sweet, and cared to help. Thanks again!

I went to The Whining Pig twice in one week after my first visit. Loved it. The first time was on a Saturday night and it was packed (it doesn't take much, this place is tiny). But a couple was leaving and let us have their seats. I was impressed by the wide beer selection written in chalk on the board. They have wine as well and they serve some food, it looked like grilled cheese and charcuterie, but we didn't eat on either visit. The beers were fantastic though. The two bartenders were both men with beards and they were very friendly and helpful. This place has many games laying around to play like Rock em Sock em, Cards Against Humanity, Trivial Pursuit, and many more. I told a friend about this place and we came back on Thursday, five days later. We found seats immediately and had a great time. My only concern was that there was a super drunk couple that came in that literally stumbled in that I felt should not have been served. The guy kept leaning into me despite me continually moving my bar stool. It was a young girl bartending that night, she was efficient but not as friendly. My daughter and I discovered this cute little bar yesterday right in our own backyard and were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had playing games and enjoying drinks!! Their beer and wine selection covers an entire chalk wall and all are so fairly priced!! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that they don't offer any "munchies" other than bagged potato chips or a grilled cheese sandwich, but if you're willing to leave and come back, you can bring in your own food. Now that I know that, I'll go better prepared next time when I challenge my daughter to another round of Yahtzee!!! read more

Was here with my friend here last night. They have countless options for draft beers and wine. My personal favorite is DogFish SeaQuenchAle, tasted delicious (made with lime peel, black lime and sea salt). Also tried Green blahblah Blonde, really smooth and yummy.
