Really nice folks working throughout the gym, but the equipment needed some updating and a good cleaning. Also, I was attracted to the steam room at sign up. But when I tried after a workout a few times, it wasn't a great experience. When the steam emits about every 5 minutes or so, the noise is almost unbearable. Also, I worried if anything happened to me (like falling or passing out), no one would know for a while (very quiet locker room). Nice price but you get what you pay for.

There's a large variety of equipment, but it's old and a lot of it is rusted which again speaks to the sanitization. The equipment is so close to each-other so people are walking right in your face which is uncomfortable. The spray bottles don't smell like disinfectant because it's so watered down. There's always trash in the cup holder in the cardio section. Locker rooms are subpar and the steam/sauna again does not seem sanitary. Would be ideal to get new equipment but I understand it's a small business. Hopefully there's some improvement planned in the future, but convenient otherwise and always enough cardio equipment despite rush hour times.

The classes are fun, fast paced and intense...and at the end of each session you'll feel accomplished! Growing up, playing a sport that required a lot of jumping around...my joints (knees and ankles) aren't what they use to be. I don't feel any pain while on the RealRyders or IndoRowers, which I usually would when I'm working out on my own or taking any other group fitness class. When you're working out at an environment with fun, positive people...and trainers who are passionate in what they do - that tedious task that you constantly dread will become an enjoyable routine that you look forward to. The head instructor Mike was super present and gave good feedback. All the students were very focused and technical and supported each other with post-roll debriefs. They also have a good range of brand new fitness equipment so you can weight lift or do conditioning pre or post class. Both staff and other gym members work together to help boost your motivation. I never thought I could be a runner and three months into this gym I ran my first 5k. What surprised me the most was not that I finished the race but I had the stamina from beginning to end. The gym is very clean. The owner has members bring other shoes to use while in the studio so things you might have walked in outside don't get into the workout floor. I have been to other gyms before but unlike those I have never felt like a healthy balance was dirty or full of germs. They have Clorox wipes all over and your asked to clean the mats if you use them. If my current job wasn't an hour in the opposite direction I would defiantly go back to a healthy balance.
