I went to the Friday 9:30am classes with Angela Beyer and they were awesome! You are provided with a mat, weights and a ball. Socks are not necessary for this class. The workout itself was challenging and flew by. The facility was clean. There is one hour street parking but also a public lot around the corner. Highly recommend if you are looking to try out a new barre studio!

I legit had a panic attack at the trouble it was finding anything at all on class pass, let alone good yoga, barre, and spin. Like literally I was malfunctioning and this happens everytime I come to town. The boutique fitness here is not even mid, I know it's the suburbs but it sucks and throws me off my fitness routine everytime I come home. Plus I eat all the shit I don't eat where I live here, fucking town spa and bullshit. I just can't. Googled yoga after not being able to book a 9:30 class somewhere like near Dedham idk. I really don't remember this area. Ummm. I totally forgot I used to come here the first years they were open and I was like early years of college. (20 yrs ago wtf) anyway this place really was the catalyst to my fitness journey. I was wicked lazy and silly, and just kind of fucked around bc I didn't and still don't know how to use weights, and was really a dancer, however; I loveee group fitness. This place only got better!! The instructors are fucking amazing, I sucks at names but the barre teacher wow! Slay queen,. I needed that. Barre in LA could use you. And Gail is a g!! Love her. I cannot recommend this studio enough. The team there is very knowledgeable and super quick to help me with adjustments, etc. to make sure that I can have a workout that is intense, but safe and balanced for me and my body. I'm never afraid to ask for adjustments or corrections on my form because the team here is so kind and encouraging. I want to preface this review by saying that I am still very much a beginner at reformer, and have taken 5 classes at the other C2 studio in Dedham and have always had a positive experience there. Being that I am relatively new, I'm very much happy to get pointers & corrections on my technique. However, my experience with Vania bordered on being singled out and almost embarrassed. When doing leg exercises & correcting me on my form, she made a comment about how my "inner thighs are really weak." Later she corrected me on my tailbone placement & made it known to me that she was using me as a demo because my form was the most incorrect out of everyone else's. Like ok??? I didn't sign up for this to be compared to other people in the class who different levels of experience. Shortly after, she makes a comment to the class saying "some of you have more cushion on your body so it's harder to locate the tailbone." I was shocked. I am a size 6-8, & have a curvier body type. It is NEVER okay in my book to comment on other people's body types, especially in a class like this. She finally stopped when I told her I felt singled out, but the damage was already done. For the rest of the class, she proceeded to make comments about how we "shouldn't feel embarrassed to make mistakes" and how she has "never felt shame" being corrected & was not a natural at Pilates herself. Regardless of her intention, these comments were extremely out of line and went beyond simple constructive corrections. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I have never felt so bad about myself in a fitness studios until now.

I've only a done a few random videos here and there and I did the Gentle Yoga and I did fine. Gentle yoga is great to go as a stress relief and unwind, but the moderate and other classes are for the more experienced. Fitness Unlimited is right down the street from me but I have never actually stepped foot inside…read moreuntil recently when I took a spin class here via ClassPass. Checking in was super easy. There was an iPad/tablet set up by the front desk where I was able to check myself in. I was not sure where the class was located but staff was very helpful and walked me downstairs to the spin class. Their upstairs/main level seemed to be where all the machines are and yoga/pilates classes. The gym was actually a lot bigger than I thought. Downstairs was where spin classes are held and they had a women's locker room down there as well. The locker room was clean, had showers, hairdryers, etc. This was the first spin class I have taken that was not through SoulCycle and the bikes were a little different but similar enough that I was able to figure it out. Overall, not a bad class. I'm used to a bit more choreography on the handle bars but still a nice class! I would totally switch to this gym if only they were open a little later because I do enjoy working out at night sometimes. Parking is a little tricky in this area. If there's not a spot on the main street (Granite), I would check on the side of Bruegger's Bagels or on Adams St.
