First I'd like to begin by stating that I am EXTREMELY PICKY and I never thought that I would like an all-women's gym. Yet, I LOVE this gym so very much! I've been a member since May 2019 and have never been as motivated and committed to my fitness before joining this community (and it's a real community)!!! The classes are welcoming, varied and rigorous!!! I love the small group training and look forward to choosing new classes each month. I work from home and was looking for something to help me get out of the rut; Fitness Unlimited became that thing. I love my balanced life so much now! Cheryl Chandler is my trainer and she is the absolute BEST: knowledgeable, motivating, focused on helping you reach your highest fitness potential, and so nice!!! She has pushed me to limits that I didn't even know were possible!!! I'm so lucky to have found this community!!!

Classes are so much fun! I never dread going to class especially when Cindy is the instructor. The intensity level is just right.

I cannot recommend this studio enough. The team there is very knowledgeable and super quick to help me with adjustments, etc. to make sure that I can have a workout that is intense, but safe and balanced for me and my body. I'm never afraid to ask for adjustments or corrections on my form because the team here is so kind and encouraging. I look forward to my classes here every week and i highly recommend checking them out!

I want to preface this review by saying that I am still very much a beginner at reformer, and have taken 5 classes at the other C2 studio in Dedham and have always had a positive experience there. Being that I am relatively new, I'm very much happy to get pointers & corrections on my technique. However, my experience with Vania bordered on being singled out and almost embarrassed. When doing leg exercises & correcting me on my form, she made a comment about how my "inner thighs are really weak." Later she corrected me on my tailbone placement & made it known to me that she was using me as a demo because my form was the most incorrect out of everyone else's. Like ok??? I didn't sign up for this to be compared to other people in the class who different levels of experience. Shortly after, she makes a comment to the class saying "some of you have more cushion on your body so it's harder to locate the tailbone." I was shocked. I am a size 6-8, & have a curvier body type. It is NEVER okay in my book to comment on other people's body types, especially in a class like this. She finally stopped when I told her I felt singled out, but the damage was already done. For the rest of the class, she proceeded to make comments about how we "shouldn't feel embarrassed to make mistakes" and how she has "never felt shame" being corrected & was not a natural at Pilates herself. Regardless of her intention, these comments were extremely out of line and went beyond simple constructive corrections. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I have never felt so bad about myself in a fitness studios until now.

I believe in the near future my group is planning to make a switch with a fam account. So walking in you have a nice concierges who check in your member and or guest. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. My brother has a membership and brought me to the second floor. They had all the equipment you'd probably need we did leg day. Lotta cables, smiths, assisted. Saw the basketball court (didn't see the pool) went to third floor checked out the spin cycle room and yoga studio. Went to the turf area for push sled and squat racks. Def has everything for the most part. Would come back again. Very spacious. Some of the machines seem to have quite a bit of years on them but as long as they work, it's all good. The locker rooms were huge, hot tub sauna and steam shower at this location, no cold baths that i saw. I think with the different tier solo and fam plans plus access to pool, hoops and unlimited classes, it makes sense it's cost, just wish it was lower like in some other markets (states) haha. Will be back! Thanks for the workout!

Equipment is frequently broken, towels are often out (what prompted me to write today), drinking fountains broken (today), etc. It seems like a lot to pat for what you get. There just hasn't been a review of the Curtis Hall Community Center in quite a while, and I thought it would be helpful to update. I'm training for a triathlon and needed an affordable place to swim 1-2 times a week. I I've gone swimming here a couple of times and I'm very happy with the swimming facilities. The locker room is.. a locker room. It seems well maintained and clean, which is all I can really ask for. The showers do turn off approximately every 30 seconds or so, but it's not a huge problem. The pool is 25 yards, and there are three lanes. I've only been in the early morning, but the most people I've seen at the pool at one time is 9 (3 per lane) and that worked out just fine. The gentleman who works at the front desk in the morning is friendly, and very helpful. He allowed me to try out the pool a couple of times before joining, which was really nice. The cost to join is $30 a year and there is a $2 per use cost for the pool. However, you can buy a card that gives you 7 uses for $10 -- well worth it if you ask me. I have no problem paying to help to support a community center. I will take a look at the rest of the facility one day when I'm not in a rush to get to work.
