Fixed my wheel at a good price! It was my bmw s1000xr that had a dented wheel after a trip.

I work for a wheel repair shop in California and there have been a few times where I've had to find a wheel for a customer. Not only have I referred people to contact The Wheel Warehouse, but I continue to use them when our customers want a new wheel. This last time, I ordered a 2004 Jaguar X Type 7 spoke chrome wheel. They had one in stock, but it wasn't chromed. They had the wheel chromed and shipped out to me in about 6 weeks. For those of you that are unaware, chroming is quite a long process, due to EPA standards, and chroming takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks. The Wheel Warehouse sent me an email with a tracking number stating when my wheel was scheduled to arrive. It came in, nicely packed and looked identical to the wheels belonging to our customer. If you want your product in a timely manner go elsewhere or place your bet with wheel warehouse. You might get what you want or wait months. If you cancel your order good luck getting a refund. All you get is " i'll relay that information on to a manager" get real! Be honest and tell me you don't have the item vs string me along. Would never do business with them again. I had unpleasant experience with this business. I needed a replacement wheel to match 3 of my other perfectly fine wheels. After calling them up and placing the order via telephone, I called back 15 min later to cancel the transaction. I was told it would be cancelled and my credit card will not be charged. Well...it was charged and I have not received refund as of yet. It was for over $300, so I want my money back ASAP. I am still waiting and it's been days. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! These guys do NOT stand behind their service. Clear coat coming off all my wheels and I did 5 cars with these people. @ cars wheels are flaking the clear coat off and they will do nothing to remedy their poor workmanship. Brian the owner basically said i had to pay good money after bad to re do my wheels. My next step is a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I would never use these guys at any level. Where to even begin? I bought a wheel from these guys this past summer. Shipping took forever and they gave no communication, so eventually they gave me free shipping, which I appreciated. Well, a few weeks back I needed to get another wheel. I bought from them again, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Boy, was I wrong! I ordered the wheel on Friday, and called them to see when it would ship. They promised me first thing on Monday, and that I would absolutely have it by Thursday. Come Monday, I called twice. "It'll ship tonight," they kept telling me. So I called back on Tuesday to get the tracking number. They didn't know what had happened, so they promised to call me back. They did not. So I called again. "We'll get back to you," they said. But they never did. Wednesday came and I still couldn't get a response from them until I called about five times and they confessed that it STILL HAD NOT SHIPPED. They gave me free shipping again, but I told them, "I don't want free shipping, I want the wheel when you told me I'd have it." So Thursday came, and I HAD TO KEEP CALLING THEM to get a tracking number. Eventually they gave me one. Only one problem. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A TRACKING NUMBER, THEY STILL HADN'T SHIPPED THE WHEEL! BUT THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THIS! Neither did they tell me that they had specified Signature Required on the package. So come the second Monday or Tuesday of this whole ridiculous ordeal, I HAD TO LEAVE WORK TO GET THE THING! These people are not a professional business. What they are is SLOW, INCOMPETENT LIARS. My husband took a rare set of 20inch ss2s here to be repaired and to get get tires. He paid a little over $400 to get the rim fixed and the tire. Once he got it home he had a custom paint job put on them that matched his SUV, an additional $150. He put the rims on and drove the vehicle to work. On his way home the tire went flat and he pulled over. He was garunteed the rims would be safe and hold air. Well the tire went flat and where they repaired the rim the weld broke and two additional pieces of the rim chiped. They took the rim back and agreed to fix the rim. Now they are trying to charge him for another tire claiming he must've hit something like a pot hole and that caused the flat. Obviously where they repaired it at wasnt repaired properly. By the repair not being done properly the tire went flat so the tire should be covered as well. The tire still has the the nubs they were only driven 40 miles total. So they want him to buy a new tire because they screwed up fixing the rim and he also has to pay for the rim to be repainted! This place is slow and bad at repairs and they dont really honor their guarantees. BEWARE!! read more

We have placed our order over 2 months ago for a set of new rims. It's only within the last week that we have been trying to set an appointment to get those rims installed. We feel as though we are getting the run around by this company. We had an appointment today but just recieved a call stating that they needed to reschedule for no other reason than "they just can't get it done". Looks like we will try again for Saturday, but I am not hopeful. If it is actually done and all is well, I wll surely update this post. But as for now, look somewhere else. I unfortunately bent my brand new Performance Machine 23" front wheel on my Harley, about a week after installing it. I came across The Wheel Warehouse online, and noticed they were a local Ohio company, so I gave them a call. Brian was extremely helpful and I shipped him my wheel (tire still on) via UPS. He received it next day, and as promised, had it back to me in PERFECT condition about 1 week later. It's been on my bike a few weeks now, and it rides absolutely perfectly. The price was fair and the quality of the work was great. I hope I don't have to have anymore wheels repaired, but if I do, i'll definitely be using this company again. Thank you! read more

I would not deal with this company again EVER! I took my wheels to them to strip and repaint. After two weeks of having them, I find that they used spray paint out of a can on my factory Lexus wheels. I called the owner out on it and he got very belligerant with me. The paint was cracked, had bubbles, and showed a marred finish. Two weeks later (now total of 4 weeks) I call to inquire about wheels as I am furious. They tell me that they are done. I go to pick them up and find that there are still knicks and bare spots. They "touch" them up. At this point I am done. I ask them to install them (as they promised in the beginning). The foul mouthed owner tells me that he has already wasted too much time on my wheels- over $600 according to him, and that he needs to now charge me an extra $25 per wheel for installation. I loaded my wheels in the car and left! This guy charged $150 per wheel to refurbish them. Not chump change. I will NEVER deal with this company again and will tell everyone that I know about my HORRIBLE experience with this company. I am not an overly meticulous person, which is the real irony to this story. They expected me to accept very second-rate service and results. Never again!! read more
