History
Established in 1999.
Paul McAndrew founded Health Moves in 1999. He is a highly experienced clinician whose therapeutic approach combines the best of both traditional and complementary practices.
A decade into his physical therapy career, Paul experienced the Feldenkrais Method and discovered an essential key to doing the work he loves - helping people thrive by becoming more comfortable and confident in their bodies.
With his rigorous medical background as a grounding force, the Feldenkrais Method inspires, compliments, and expands his interaction with each client.
Meet the Business Owner: Paul M.
Paul has maintained a private clinical practice spanning over 30 years. Located in Durham, NC for the past 15 years, he also had clinics in Boston and Arlington MA.
Paul's previous clinical experience includes: Director of Physical Therapy at The Atlanta Back Clinic, Senior Therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Private practice in Boston MA, Arlington MA
Paul is also an educator; his teaching experience includes: Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes, national speaker/teacher professional PT conferences/courses, Feldenkrais introduction courses to medical/movement professionals, & ergonomic consulting in the workplace.
Paul is a devoted father of four grown children and three grandchildren. He loves dance, jazz, basketball, dog walking, hiking, and gardening.
