Simple menus with something for everyone's tastes. We had the burger (which was indeed homemade), poutine (best in Bala), salad and the mac and cheese. Everyone was very pleased. When walking in - the small interior will throw you off but if the weathers right - the patio is awesome. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for affordable and something the kids will love. Service and food were top notch.

My family and I stopped here on our way home from the zoo. We had never eaten at a Wimpy's but this restaurant was well reviewed and the menu had something for everyone. When we entered we were immediately greeted with friendly service by Clea. I had the best strawberry milk shake OF MY LIFE! Food was delivered ridiculously fast. I ate delicious fish and chips, and the fam had vegetarian omelette, hot dog and breakfast food. My kids have never eaten this much at a restaurant EVER. I opted to box up half my meal, the portions were immense. The washrooms were spotless. I glanced in the kitchen which was fully staffed, organized and clean. I am extremely impressed and would love to return when we travel again.

I ordered it gluten and dairy free, which means I didn't get the crispy garlic pieces. They told me the crispy garlic was a large portion of the dish but it was still filling and a good portion size. I would definitely order this again. PACIFIC RIM NOODLE BOWL My husband described this dish as being similar to a pho meal with both chicken and shrimp. He said it was really filling and delicious. The Smoked Trout Salad was equally delicious, with fresh greens and a great combo of goat cheese and avocado topped with a piece of fish. The lemon vinaigrette complimented the flavours perfectly. This salad is a nice size if you want something filling, but still light and healthy. The cafe itself has a casual and comfortable vibe, the service was attentive, and lots of items available to go, as well as fresh bakery items at the counter.
