*** Update from our previous visit ***…read more My family had been to Era 67 in late September, and had a horrendous experience. After we posted our review the owner, Brian, contacted us to discuss what happened. He then offered for us to come back and give them another shot. We accepted, and returned this past Sunday (November 10th) When we arrived, we were seated quickly in the private room. Brian extended his apologies again and thanked us for returning. Our drink order was taken and delivered in a timely manner. My husband was impressed with his Old Fashioned, and said it was well made. We placed our appetizer and dinner choices at the same time. The appetizers were a bit slow to come out, however we attributed that to it being a busy evening. No big deal for us. We had the stuffed Yorkies, and the bruschetta. Both were excellent. Our dinners took longer than expected, but again, it was a busy night. 2 of us has the braised lamb shank, 2 had the Prime Rib special, and I had the striploin. They were worth the wait!! My brother wanted to lick his plate when he finished his lamb and said it was the best he's ever had. My steak was perfectly cooked, and the prime rib was also well enjoyed. Although we didn't have much space left, we elected to try their flourless chocolate torte for dessert, 2 pieces to be shared amongst us. It was super rich, but came with a raspberry coulis to help cut it. Excellent!! All in all, our experience was a million times better than our last. For me, personally, I do wish the food came out a bit faster, but aside from that, we were all very pleased. I've given it a 4 only because of the delay in between courses. The food was still worth the wait though. I know that my family plans to return. My mother wants to try the lamb after seeing how much my father and brother enjoyed theirs. Thanks for a great night, Brian.

Brussel Sprouts - 4.5/5 - Another favourite of the table! Such good seasonings and well put together - the best brussel sprouts I've had at a restaurant! Creole Steak - 3.5/5 - Not bad, but nothing special. The creole butter was nice, but the steak itself was ok. Alfredo Pasta - 3.5/5 - Same as above; nothing special, but not bad. Service - 5/5 - All prompt waiters and waitresses, even had the manager come and check on us! Very patient with our requests and even when we had a few issues paying, all worked out well. Ambiance: 4/5 - A bar/restaurant vibe; nice setting for the area to just grab some quick bites.

Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable in all the menu items (glad that she alerted that the pistachio-crusted roasted salmon would come with maple butter, so I could order the dish without it / put it on the side). I love that all menu items are customizable in all The Keg locations (can sub in, take out, or add certain ingredients or add-ons such as vegetables). They always have at least 1 vegetarian main dish on the menu, which tends to change every once in a while. We tried their most recent one, The Harvest Bowl, which consisted of basmati rice, falafels, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and spiced yogurt. It was alright. They provided the option of choosing how I wanted the roasted salmon to be cooked (e.g. medium, medium well, well done, etc.) - always great to have that choice. The broccoli and mixed vegetables (which I asked as a substitute for the mashed potatoes) were excellent, as always.

They are also dog friendly (see below), as the other restaurant in resort are service animals only. Service 4/5 Came on a Saturday for supercars and jazz. More traffic than usual at the resort. That being said the team were pretty quick in getting our food to the table after ordering. The wait times for inside were longer than outside due to the heat. We sat outside but the breeze definitely helped out along with the umbrellas. Food 4/5 Portions were quite generous. We got a chicken wrap (chose honey garlic wing sauce) as well as nachos and a chicken Brie sandwich. The venue is also pet friendly , they had dog bowls a for food and water. They also had a dog beer (it is cold bone broth) for the dogs on the patio.

The place had a nice open layout with warm lighting. Crispy & Spicy Squid (4/5) was cooked perfectly. It was firm and crispy with red and green chillis. The sauces were on the sweeter side. We usually prefer the sauces to be more on the tangy and/or a creamy bold garlic flavour. Wagyu Burger (3/5) was decent. It came with two patties, smoked cheddar, caramelized onions, black truffle garlic aioli, tomatoes and pickles. The flavour profile met our expectation but we found that the patties themselves were a bit dry. We upgraded the side of fries for truffle fries (5/5) and those were delicious. Spicy Bison Sausage Rigatoni (5/5) was cooked perfectly. The sausage was complemented well with the acidity and delicate sweetness of the pasta sauce. The mushrooms were a great addition and the parmesan really tied in all the flavours together. We had the option to have it not spicy, mild or hot. We asked for hot because we enjoy spicy food but it was not as spicy as we had hoped it to be. NOTE: The bill comes with an additional 3% Resort Fee
