Good sized portioned food, number of TV screens to watch the sport games, and number of tables. Also, prices are reasonable and conveniently located next to the casinos. However, service was a bit slow.

More like a 2.5 stars. This is a truly fast food joint. We haven't been in a public atmosphere and in a casino at that. No calorie intake listed on the menue meaning very little to no healthy choices. We spotted a Cesser salad with bacon Most everything is battered and a lot...of cheese, sauce,... Once you're finish you can stroll back to the slot machines facing the restaurant. On this night, it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Very very long. where's Chef Ramsay. Can we say Hells Kitchen yelling to get food faster? A few nice things, there is live music and nice waiters serving you. A bit pricey if you got this elsewhere since in Casino Rama. $$

This place is inside Casino Rama beside the Couching Buffet. They have a sports bar style with TV, beer and nachos. WARNING : Service is very slow ... if you're starving .. be prepared to wait 5 mins till someone comes to greet you and another 8 mins for someone to take your order and like 20 mins till youe appetizers come ... 10 out of 10 times I come food takes forever to come ... They offer beer tasting flights and seasonal cocktails. Their menu changes once in a while sometimes they have some items sometimes they don't. Like they didn't have steak on their menu till April 2015 where they added Steak and Steak Sandwich (pictures uploaded). You can check their menu at the door before you go in. They accept players coupons if you have a Players Passport Club membership. One coupon per member. Coupon does not cover beverages but includes tax. Overall I'd come eat here if i dont mind the wait and want a dish over buffet next door.

Sweet Potato Fries with Hot Chicken Wings! So good!!

This restaurant is located inside casino rama. It's pretty busy in the evenings as we went around 7:30pm and we had to wait for a bit. It was my first time going so didn't know what to expect. We ordered sweet potato fries and chicken wings to start off. The wings were amazing! They were tasty and crispy. We ordered the hot flavour. The fries were also delicious and the dipping sauce that came with it was so addictive. The food here is pretty good and decently priced. I would definitely come back.

Calamari

We were at Casino Rama as we came to watch Criss Angel. We were looking for a dinner spot prior to the show. Simcoe Yard House Pub was located conveniently inside the casino so we decided to give it a shot. It got very busy for dinner as the casino was real busy but managed to get seated fairly quickly. For me it was an average experience. Our appetizers of Calamari and Onion Rings were pretty good but my main Crispy Chicken Sandwich was not good at all. The Calamari were tasty and the Onion Rings were quite large and cooked nice and crispy. My Sandwich lacked flavour. There was no wow factor at all. It was a small piece of chicken which was overpowered by a the bun and fried green tomato. The service was decent but we had empty drink glasses for a while and were not offered a refill and was difficult to get the servers attention as it was real busy. Although it was convenient we had hoped food would have been better.

The Nacho plate comes with sides of Salsa, Guac, Sour Cream and Jalapeño Peppers.

Excellent selection of food for a sports bar, good size portions, friendly staff, located inside Casino Rama on the gaming floor. Open for lunch and dinner. I just had the Nachos, after eating it, you're definitely full, it's a meal, not an appetizer.

Fire Starter Lounge - Delicious Canadian Cheese Plate

Fire Starter Lounge

It's hard to rate this lovely country Lounge…read more It's mostly due to the fact that SO many changes have occurred overall in the Casino Rama Resort for the last 2 years since September 2017. This Lounge is rarely busy. During the day it's a quiet respite with 4 lovely fireplaces to sit in front and relax. As well it has sofas and comfy chairs for large groups or for just you and your special person. But often those seats are taken by "bus people" who bring in their own food. Take off their shoes and clip their toenails and/or talk loud and/or sleep and snore. When you want Drinks + Snacks it's dependent on if it's day or night, whether it's a show night, a weekend or some other arbitrary reason for closing it. Non show nights but only Friday and Saturday you can order food. But that stops at 10PM. On show nights after a concert is when you do want to kick back with friends in the lounge and relive the concert, talk about the concert, eat and drink. But that's when they cut off food and blare a speaker with insane decibels to draw in a different element. So you wind up going to your room if you're staying overnight. Or just leaving if you just came for the show. So my scoring would be 5 Stars For Service Staff NICK when he's working 5 Stars for Fireplaces and Comfy Chairs 4 Stars for Beer and Wine Prices 3 Stars for Cocktail Prices (about $1.25 too high) 3 Stars for Accessibility 2 Stars for Hours of Operation and Consistency

Picnic has officially rebranded and turned into Orillia's first cantina. I love what they have done…read moree with the menu and the change is really good. I started with some nachos that had multiple layers of cheese. Thank you very much. The ceviche was delicious. The tacos don't come individually so hard spot to go solo. They come in a deconstructed state with meat and all the toppings on the side. You assemble them yourself and make them how you like. One plate made 6 decent size tacos. As usual the service was fast and super friendly. The room stayed the same with a casual ambiance. Well done!!

I've been here numerous times now, always for their half price tapas or other specials which makes…read morethe price more accessible and very worth it. By now we've tried most of the menu but the favourites are the mushroom manchego grilled cheese and the duck. Some items are rotating, which is a nice way to try new items. I did find that in the early years there was some inconsistency with the portion size or plating (I remember this especially for the octopus) but I'm sure as years pass this has been ironed out. I also really like their bread with various canned seafoods. There's a pretty extensive drinks list, and a little market area yo purchase items to go. All in all a nice spot to meet with friends or have a date. There aren't too many seats so if they are busy it may be hard to get seating.

Venue 5/5 Lakefront…read morerestaurant with patio along boardwalk. Right on the main strip of Friday harbour. Patio has lounge like seating with umbrellas as well. They are also dog friendly (see below), as the other restaurant in resort are service animals only. Service 4/5 Came on a Saturday for supercars and jazz. More traffic than usual at the resort. That being said the team were pretty quick in getting our food to the table after ordering. The wait times for inside were longer than outside due to the heat. We sat outside but the breeze definitely helped out along with the umbrellas. Food 4/5 Portions were quite generous. We got a chicken wrap (chose honey garlic wing sauce) as well as nachos and a chicken Brie sandwich. The venue is also pet friendly , they had dog bowls a for food and water. They also had a dog beer (it is cold bone broth) for the dogs on the patio.

We stumbled upon this restaurant solely based on how good the food smelled from outside. We were…read morewalking on the sidewalk and smelled the grill. Walking in, we were greeted with a smile. The place had a nice open layout with warm lighting. Crispy & Spicy Squid (4/5) was cooked perfectly. It was firm and crispy with red and green chillis. The sauces were on the sweeter side. We usually prefer the sauces to be more on the tangy and/or a creamy bold garlic flavour. Wagyu Burger (3/5) was decent. It came with two patties, smoked cheddar, caramelized onions, black truffle garlic aioli, tomatoes and pickles. The flavour profile met our expectation but we found that the patties themselves were a bit dry. We upgraded the side of fries for truffle fries (5/5) and those were delicious. Spicy Bison Sausage Rigatoni (5/5) was cooked perfectly. The sausage was complemented well with the acidity and delicate sweetness of the pasta sauce. The mushrooms were a great addition and the parmesan really tied in all the flavours together. We had the option to have it not spicy, mild or hot. We asked for hot because we enjoy spicy food but it was not as spicy as we had hoped it to be. NOTE: The bill comes with an additional 3% Resort Fee

Absolutely Outstanding Experience!…read more We contacted Michael & Marion's to host my son and now daughter-in-law's wedding, as we've always loved both the food and service there. From start to finish, it was hands-down the best choice we could have made. Kent, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with -- professional, accommodating, and completely transparent. He clearly outlined what was available and what to expect, with no hidden costs or "nickel and diming." When it looked like our ceremony venue might fall through, he even offered us the restaurant space as a backup, which was such a thoughtful gesture (thankfully, we didn't need it -- but the offer said everything about their level of care). We met with Kent twice and Jade once, and the process felt almost too easy -- so informal and effortless that I thought it might be too good to be true. But it wasn't. When we arrived on the big day, everything was exactly as promised -- and even better than I had imagined. Throughout the evening, Jade and the entire team were incredible. They were attentive, professional, and seemed to anticipate every need before we even had to ask. I never once felt like I had to manage a thing. The food was phenomenal, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Michael & Marion's for any event or special occasion. I'm eternally grateful to Kent, Jade, and their team for making this day so smooth, memorable, and truly perfect. Angela McKeown
