Service: 10/10!!!! Group of 15? No problem, they'll remember your name & have everything sorted out. Tip their servers. Food: 10/10!!!! Awesome guilty pleasure foods. Unreal burgers!!!! I can't say much since they're customizable; fried cheese curds were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Spinach Dip was savoury & definitely filling for an appie!

This burger place was on the TV show *You Gotta Eat Here*, well what can I say about it awesome Slider Caesar it is a little spicy but I still enjoyed it, the little burger was tasty. So according to the TV the poutines are amazing I've had better by far, gravy was super lumpy but had a good flavour. My hubby has the Mexican burger he said he liked it we both agreed that the meat was very good quality. My son had the grill cheese burger he liked it as well. You get a sauce for your fries to dip them in I pulled something really questionable out of it gross!! Service was a 2 at best. Not a friendly atmosphere on November the 9th at about 3ish in the afternoon. The server wasn't friendly seemed annoyed at our questions, we had to ask for our condiments, salt, pepper etc. When the condiments arrived they were dirty :( Price was decent for 4 of us to eat 100$

The In Training Burger (taller than a pint)

Gone are the days when downtown Barrie was strictly for nightlife and by day the only places to eat was a Hooters and a few forgettable spots. Now there's an endless number of options providing quality grub and an amazing selection of craft beer and cocktails. Kenzington is no different and providing a calorie count of creative eats that will make your heart stop... and I should know, I ate there. The space is massive, 20-30 foot ceilings in the main bar area filled with televisions a huge bar and lots of tables, a more intimate tavern- esque space to the back, a private dining room off the back room and an impressive back walled in by reclaimed wood and a fully stocked patio bar. The burger selection, actually the entire menu selection, reads like food based erotica. Bacon, chicken, peameal, poutine, and on and one and on. The burgers are the main attraction here for sure (hence the Burger Bar name) they have 5 distinct categories each with between 2-4 options. The beauty is you get to choose you bun (brioche, pretzel or grilled cheese sandwiches) and your sides. I was feeling ambitious and picked the "In training" burger off the 'Crazy' portion of the burger menu. In training comes with Lettuce, Onion, tomato, Cheddar, bacon, peameal bacon, Jalapeno popper, poutine, onion ring, and a fried egg. Served up it's taller than a traditional pint glass and requires some serious prep work in order to get your mouth around. The burger was incredible! That's all I will say, it was messy, but who cares about messy, it was delicious. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was my choice of Sweet Potato Fries, I felt they were kinda meh next to the burger tower I had just taken down. I was intrigued by their challenge burger known as The Kitchen Sink which requires 24 hours notice to order. As we were leaving I saw someone order one and it was a monster. I'm intrigued to try it but the; 1lb of beef, half a head of lettuce, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 6 slices of cheddar, 6 pieces of bacon, 4 pieces of peameal, 3 jalapeno poppers, 3 fried eggs, poutine and onion rings on a pretzel bun, scares me to my core... I'm coming back, maybe not for the whole kitchen sink, but definitely everything else Eatcrest Out

We were visiting family and needed some food. Seen this place on you gotta eat here. Man were they right. The food was amazing. So much food. Kinda dimly lit. But who cares when the food was so huge you had to concentrate on where you were taking your next bite from or you could collapse your whole burger , don't even get me started on the poutine. It was also amazing. Bring your kids. Wife. Mom. Dad. Second cousin Twice removed!! They will all love it

Rodeo fried chicken wrap was amazing! Mushroom melt poutine was kind of a disappointment. Gravy wasn't hot enough and the fries were really salty. The wings were fantastic. The porky burger was really good but the garparm poutine had a bit too much rosemary flavour to it. Service was great. All in all, a great experience.

Every aspect from the sauce to the baguette to the meat was so tasty. I also recommend getting the garlic aoli for the fries. The drinks were very well done and unique in flavor as well, in particular I tried to the midnight show which was like a raspberry espresso martini. It was fantastic. The ambiance of the place is spectacular as well with a cool, library naturally, vibe. The servers were also great and helped accommodate my date who is gluten free, and her baguette replacement was the best that she'd ever had of a gluten free option. All in all top tier experience start to finish.

They decorate the lobby, bar area, and the whole main floor with Christmas decorations during the holiday season, including the giant Christmas tree in the lobby (complete with its own lighting ceremony and live music performance). Good selection of drinks and great customer service. Fun facts: The Royal York Hotel opened in 1929. It hosted royalty, heads of state, and golden-age Hollywood legends like Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock when they were in town filming or staying upstairs in the hotel. Stepping inside is like time-traveling back decades, with velvet seating, brass accents, and dark, moody lighting. As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. That dignified gentleman watching you sip your drink is George Locke, the very first chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library. I love that a librarian is the patron saint of this bar! The drinks here aren't just cocktails; they're chapters in a story. The current menu, titled "Ink & Alchemy," is actually inspired by Michael Ondaatje's famous novel In the Skin of a Lion. Created by their award-winning mixologist James Grant, the menu is a tribute to the people who built this city: the immigrants, bridge-builders, thieves, and dreamers. You aren't just sipping a martini; you're drinking a liquid homage to Toronto's history.

Scarpacci Ristorante is nearby so I went there. When I got there at 6pm, there was just just me and another fella. Here's the view from my table in the corner. There isn't a lot of choice on the menu. I orderd the whole wheat penne with Italian sausage in a tomato basil sauce. It arrived in about five minutes. Hmmm ... that should have been my first clue. I despise parm cheese. Usually with pasta, you are asked if you want some. This came with it already on top so I scraped it off as best I could. The sauce was okay. The pasta was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overcooked to the point of being mushy ... not enjoyable at all. The sausage was good and garlic bread was okay. Needless to say, I didn't eat it all. Tim, the server, was very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. I didn't have the heart to complain to him. I should have ordered in pizza.

Menu is a tad over priced, but I can't deny it tastes good. Not overly salty or oily as bar food often is, and I actually really enjoyed their pasta. It's definitely a great place to go for a bit of a splurgy night with friends where you're prepared to pay $20-40 per person. I like it for a date night to have some heavier foods that I wouldn't want to try cooking at home. The short rib pappardelle was the best. I love the flavour and it's not too crazy heavy, even though it looks really creamy. It has very beef stew type vibes. The chicken wings were well cooked and still moist. I think it was too much flavour going on though. You LOVE the first and even second wing. But by the third one, I felt like it was getting too heavy. I know though that a lot of people love that and can't get enough of it. I personally don't like too much of any one thing. The brussel sprouts I felt the same. It's really yum for the first few bites but it gets really heavy after a while. I think it's really fun to have the appetizers and share a main with someone. The foods are a bit heavier, more of a flavour bomb, but everything is executed well and the staff are really nice! We've even done take out and the portions were very much the same.
